Ayame was born is another realm and trained as a fairy. She can do all kinds of spells and all kinds fighting techniques. She was accidentally transported to Earth six years ago fighting a creature from her realm. Jasmine and Usagi spotted her while fighting this creature. This is how Usagi and Jasmine first discovered they had powers. But Ayame didn’t expect to be helping them and other girls to keep monster and other creatures out of the earth realm.

Now she reappears in a time of crisis at the Domino High School takeover by the evil witches Zaria, Milla, and Aline. The Senshi were in trouble and Ayame appeared as Sailor Sun to help them. Of course Usagi and Jasmine were shocked because they remember Ayame as a fairy, not a Sailor Senshi.
