POWERS & ABILITIES:
Mercury Henshin Pen - Ami uses a small blue henshin pen with a star on top and the symbol for "Mercury" in the middle of it to transform into "Sailor Mercury". All she has to do is hold it up and call out the transformation phrase, "Mercury Power, Make Up!". Her fingernails turn light blue, and her body turns into a purple silhouette against the blue background, and she holds the pen up. Water swirls around her, and her back is turned, and she is already dressed in her Sailor Mercury uniform. She turns around, and the Mercury symbol appears on her forehead. Her tiara forms, and she assumes her finishing pose.

Mercury Aqua Mist - When Sailor Mercury performs this attack, a blue fire forms in her hands and creates a thick fog and mist that blinds her enemies.

Mercury Goggle - The Mercury Goggle (also called the Virtual Reality Visor or the VR Visor for short) is a transparent blue visor that Sailor Mercury could make it appear or disappear by touching one of her earrings, and used this item to scan and make analysis of enemies and phenomena in battle, as well as make calculations. She can also perform the defensive attack "Hyperspatial Sphere Generate".

Hyperspatial Sphere Generate - It's a defensive attack that Mercury can use to create a shield that dimensionally seals off a place from its surroundings, so battle damage won't destroy the area. She must have her Mercury Goggle on to do the attack.

Sailor Planet Attack - Only works when performed with other Sailor Guardians. It's a group attack that allows her and the others to fire a light-based attack from the palms of their hands. The effects of it can be used to erase someone from being brainwashed as well as destroy multiple enemies. This power takes a lot of focus and power to perform, so it is draining the more it is used.

PERSONALITY: Ami is an intelligent young person who is very good at calculations, has an eidetic memory, and can come up with strategies to solve just about anything she has a problem with. She spends most of her time studying to keep up her grades because she dreams of becoming a doctor someday, just like her mother, Saeko Mizuno, who works as a certified doctor at Jurojin Hospital. As such, she works herself day and night to keep her grades remaining at their highest. During what little downtime she does give herself, Ami's known to take up swimming, which she finds to be relaxing whenever she needs to unwind. She's an excellent swimmer, and though she has been scouted by the school's swim team constantly, she always decline saying she has too much on her plate already. As a person, Ami is generally shy, but once you get to know her, she is very kind and very loyal to their friends.

Ami is the type that avoids conflict, for she doesn't like to fight, which is why she keeps herself wrapped up in studying all the time and is by herself, causing others to think that she's just too stuck up or better than everyone because she's smart, when that is not it. A lot of people are intimidated by the fact that she is an intelligent person, and she may not express or brag about it, it does make it hard for her to make friends as she would like to, based on the wrong assumptions they make of her. Ami hardly ever finds time to relax because she believes that if she takes a break, she's wasting time she could've used for studying. She's never been told to take a break before or asked to have any fun with anyone, so if she does take a break, it can be hard for her to enjoy it. On top of that, all the studying causes her to remain to herself, getting the feeling that no one wants to be around her because she's too smart, which is something she cannot help. If anything, she'd rather help others, but extending the offer could sometimes be a bad thing for people who want to take advantage of her, so Ami is a little cautious too. She also seems to have a bad allergic reaction to love letters, as she's broken out in complete hives upon getting a few at some point in her life.

APPEARANCE: Ami is 5'3'' with jaw-length bobbed blue hair that is a few inches above her shoulders and blue eyes. She wears her Juuban school uniform, coupled with a grey cardigan, short white socks, and brown penny loafers. She occasionally wore other clothes like shorts and a skirt with tennis shoes. Ami also has reading glasses, which she only wears when she's studying. She doesn't care too much for exposing her body, but she will wear a bathing suit when she's swimming to clear her mind. It's usually a one piece fully body one. As Sailor Mercury, her sailor fuku distinctly does not have padded shoulder sleeves like her teammates. She has blue knee-high boots with short heels, as well as white elbow-length gloves gloves, with blue on the ends, and wears blue stud earrings - three in her left ear and one in her right. Just like the other senshi, she wears a tiara on her forehead, with a stone of her signature color (blue in Sailor Mercury's case) in the center of it. Ami I Mercury I

HISTORY: Ami transforms into the Brilliant Fighter, Sailor Mercury. Amy is the brains behind the Sailor Senshi and thus was given a pocket computer and virtual reality (VR) visor by Luna to enhance her natural talents. Although Ami is naturally intelligent, she must study very hard to maintain her near-perfect grades in school and her position as the best student in Miami. Of coursenow that she's in Domino City, it's gonna be hard staying as the top ranked studen,t considering that most of the students there are a lot smarter. So far, she's only ranked third place in the ranks because Seto Kaiba is first, and a guy by the name of Corey Sanders always places second.

Considering that Seto is a multi-billionaire, she expected him to place first above her. Of course, she didn't think someone else would be as smart as both him and her put together, and place second while she places third. In the story, a classmate named Daijuro Santo develops an interest in Ami; however, she doesn't pay any attention to Daijuro. Her interest remains in Seto, but knows that she wouldn't have a chance in the world with him. Unlike Rei and Ryoko, who showed obvious romantic interest in Seto, Ami kept her interest in him to herself. So, what will happen with this love triangle?

Eventually, Ami discovers that Seto and Jasmine had started a relationship with one another. It was around a time when Jasmine had become distant from everyone, especially Yuugi Motou, whom Ami was aware Jasmine had originally been dating, as they had a daughter in the future. She wasn't upset; instead, Ami accepted this, and unlike Rei and Ryoko, who were upset with Jasmine for being with Seto and not Yuugi, she simply wished them well in the end. Sure, it hurt, but she was willing to be mature for the sake of her friend's happiness. At graduation, Ami approached Daijuro and apologized to him for being rude. She expected him to be upset with her for ignoring him, but he, in fact, did not.

Instead, he laughed and told her it was fine, and it was nice to finally have a genuine conversation with her when her attention wasn't elsewhere. He understood she was busy since graduation was rolling around, so he gave her space. He told her she had nothing to apologize to him for, but if she was up for it, maybe they could get coffee sometime. Ami agreed with a smile, and the two of them slowly got to know each other. As for the battle with Galaxia, Ami, along with the other Sailor Guardians, had temporarily died, but were brought back in the end after Galaxia's defeat.
