Chapter 3 Meeting The Gang
"How dare you fail me a second
time!!" shouted Galaxia at the top of her lungs while also blasting Vortex
with the power of her own bracelets, which sent Vortex flying up against the
wall.
"I'm sorry master! It'll never happen again! I promise!!" cried Vortex.
"Silence!
You wouldn't have failed if you'd try harder to get rid of those
pesky Sailor Senshi!! You know how much I hate them!!!" Galaxia shouted,
angrily.
"I'll try harder to get rid of them next time. I swear I won't fail you again master. I promise I won't," Vortex said, frightened.
"You better not fail me
again!!! Or it will be the end of you! Now, I'll give you three more chances
but after you use all those chances up, I have to replace you. And trust me,
the way you'll go… won't be pretty. Now get out of my sight!!" yelled
Galaxia.
"Yes Master," said Vortex, bowing and then leaving.

At the Turtle Game Shoppe, Yugi and
his grandfather were talking to Bunny, Jasmine, and the rest of the gang on
exactly how they got there.
"So, Galaxia transported you
all here after you defeated another enemy?" asked Yugi.
"Not like that exactly but sorta. But this enemy got away. She said she was after star seeds and we're not sure what those are," Bunny said.
"Yeah. See, we also still think that Galaxia is after the power of the Silver Imperial crystal. There's also the Silver Star Imperial crystal but I don't think she knows about that yet," replied Jasmine.
"They're right. So right now, we need to worry about where we're going to stay and concentrate on Galaxia tomorrow," Raye said.
"Way to change to the subject
Raye," said Mina sarcastically. "But we still need to
figure out why Galaxia transported us here. She's can't be just only after the
Silver Imperial crystal, there must be something else she's after."
"I agree with Mina. There has
to be something else she's up to the reason she sent us here with no reason
whatsoever," said Amara, crossing her arms slightly.
"Yeah you're right. But for
right now, we do need to concentrate on where we're going to be staying,"
Jasmine said.
"You can stay here. I've got some room around here," Yugi replied.
"I know you're being nice and
all Yugi but not all of us can stay here. It'll be too cluttered and too boxed
in. You'll need all the room you can get Yugi," said Lita.
"Lita's right. You're house is too small. Some of us will have to go some place else," Trista said.
"You have a point. Wait, I can call my friends and ask them could some of you stay the night. I'm sure they wouldn't mind," said Yugi.
"Thanks Yugi. I'm sorry that you have to go through so much trouble to find us a place to stay. We don't mean to be a burden to you or your grandfather," said Jasmine.
"It's no trouble at all
Jasmine. I'm just glad that everyone is okay," Yugi said.
"Well, there's good news and
there's bad news," Solomon said, coming out of the kitchen.
"What's the good news
grandpa?" asked Yugi.
"Well, I just got off the phone with Diane and told her what happened and she's coming here," said Solomon.
"Why's mom coming here? We
need to get home," cried Bunny.
"Suck it up Bunny. If mom's
coming here, then she's coming here," Jasmine said.
"Hey! Why stay in a place we
know hardly anything about?" Bunny asked.
"We have Yugi to help us since
he's lived here longer than we have," replied
"So what's the bad news?"
Michelle asked.
"Well, even if you guys were
able to go back to
"Aw man. I'm even more afraid
to know what the price ranges are," Sakura said.
"So we're stuck here until we're able to get enough money to pay for plane tickets to get home?" asked Rini.
"And until you find out why
Galaxia transported you all here," replied Solomon.
"Great," said Raye dryly.
"Don't take it like that Raye.
We will get home. Just not right now," Lita said.
"Well, I'm going to go call my friends and see will they let you stay with them for awhile. Be right back," said Yugi, running into the kitchen.
"Hey Jasmine, I just thought
of something," whispered Bunny.
"Like what?" Jasmine
whispered back.
"Well, since we're staying here for awhile, you and Yugi have a chance to catch up on old times. And Sakura can finally get a chance to bond with Yugi," Bunny said.
"You're right Bunny. I have seen him in years. Well, technically, we used to visit him during our summer break but we were way younger then. And I can ask him about some of the things that have happened since he's been here. I love him so much," Jasmine swooned.
“So, when he comes back, talk to
him," said Bunny.
"I will. Here he comes,"
said Jasmine.
"Well, I called my friends and
they said they don't mind having some of you stay with them," replied
Yugi.
"At least we have a place to stay," Rini said.
"Yeah.
Thanks Yugi," Sakura said.
"You're welcome. Oh, and I
called someone else I knew. His name is Seto Kaiba and I asked him was it okay
if some of you could stay with him as well," Yugi said.
"Wait a minute. I thought you said he didn't like you or you friends," Jasmine said, arching her eyebrows.
"He doesn't like us and doesn't like doing us any favors as well. But he caved in and said he'll let some of you stay in his guestrooms in his mansion," said Yugi.
"He's rich? Ooh, I wonder if he's hot," Raye swooned.
"Oh please Raye. The guy is a
total asshole to Yugi and all of his friends," replied Jasmine.
"But he's rich," said Raye.
"Raye get a grip. Everyone
knows that a rich guy is always more into his work and company than he is into
his girlfriend," Mina said.
"You two never quit do you?" asked Lita.
"Nope," both of them replied.
"Uh Yugi, could I talk to you
in private," asked Jasmine.
"Sure," Yugi said.
Yugi and Jasmine walked over towards
the window on the other side of the room.
"So what did you want to talk
to me about?" Yugi asked.
"Well, I was wondering… since
we're going to be staying here for awhile, I was thinking me and you could
catch up on a lot of things that we've missed since you moved from Miami,"
Jasmine said.
"That's a great idea Jasmine. It's been a long time since we've been on a date. And I've missed you so much," said Yugi.
"I've missed you too. But you
did promise me that you'd introduce me to your friends," said Jasmine.
"That's right. I did. And
you'll get a chance to meet them when they come over," Yugi said.
"That's true," Jasmine
said.
Just then, the doorbell ranged.
"I'll get it," said
Solomon. When he got to the door, there stood Yugi's friends and Kaiba, who was
not Yugi's friend. "How's everyone doing? Come on in. Everyone is waiting
in the living room," he said.
"Thanks Mr. Moto," Tea said.
They all went into the living room
and saw a very big crowd of people.
"Mina, when are you going to get over that guy already? You may never see him again," Lita said.
"Yes, I will. Once I know my
way around this city then I'll - Joey!" Mina shouted excitedly. She jumped
off the couch, ran towards Joey and hugged him. Well, actually, she lunged at
him, causing both him and her to fall on the floor.
"Hey, heh, nice to see you too,
Mina," Joey replied.
"Wait a minute. You're one of
Yugi's friends?" Mina asked.
"Uh, yeah but I didn't know that you knew him," Joey said.
"A girl actually likes you
Joey? Most girls would have to be in denial to like you," replied Tea.
"Oh yeah?
Well, guys have to be pretty desperate to like someone like you. Eat those
words," Mina said, as she got up off of the floor and walked back over to
the couch and sat down.
"Relax Mina. Tea was only joking,"
said Joey, getting up himself.
"Well, it wasn't funny," said Mina as she turned away from Joey and crossed her arms.
"Uh, you'll have to excuse my
friend Mina. She's normally not like this. You remember me don't you? Lita
Kino?" asked Lita.
"Oh yeah.
I remember you. You and her were across the street while I was talking to
Mina," Joey said, pointing towards Raye.
"Yep.
That's me," replied Raye, doing the peace sign with her fingers.
"Dude, I should've gone to the
store with you. How is it that three girls spot you on the side of the street
corner?" asked Tristan, as he pulled Joey by the arm.
"Don't know. It just happened today," said Joey.
"You two are really pathetic
you know that?" said Tea.
"Ah, don't pay any attention
to Tea you guys. She's just mad `cause she doesn't have a boyfriend,"
joked Joey.
"That is not true dog boy!! Take that back!!!" Tea shouted angrily. Tristan and Joey just laughed at her.
"Uh, hey guys?" Yugi
said, finally.
"Oh. Hey, Yugi, where were
you?" asked Tea.
"Oh, I was talking to Jasmine before you all came," he said.
(Jasmine and Tea thinking the same thing): "That's the girl from the mall!"
"Uh, Yugi, we kind of know
each other but not that well," Jasmine, replied while also glaring at Tea.
"Really? How?" asked Yugi.
"At the mall
in the arcade. Jasmine and Tea were playing that Dueling Dance game.
Jasmine won and that's when we left. Amy didn't come over until after they were
finished," explained Bunny.
"Typical you'd go to a mall or
any store without me," Raye muttered.
"What was that Raye?"
asked Bunny.
"Nothing," said Raye, innocently.
"Well, why don't we just get
to know each other first and then work on where everyone is going to be
staying," Yugi said.
"Good idea Yuge," said Joey.
They all gathered around the living room table, except Kaiba, and decided on where everyone was going to be staying. When Raye found who Kaiba was, she kept trying to cling hold to his arm and he kept backing away. So everyone thought it'd be a bad idea if Raye stayed with Kaiba. But Jasmine went into the kitchen for something to drink and since no one wanted to stay with Kaiba, besides Raye but wasn't going to, and Jasmine was the last one left out of everyone, so she has to stay with him. But she didn't know that yet.
"I'm back," she said as
she came out of the kitchen. No one said anything about where she would be
staying.
"I feel bad for you,"
Joey spoke up.
"Why?" Jasmine said,
giving Joey a death glare.
"You have to stay with Kaiba. Well, technically since no one wanted to of course," he said.
"WHATTT!!!!??" shouted Jasmine.
She looked behind her and saw Kaiba
leaning up against the wall next to the kitchen.
"Raye, would you like to take
my place?" asked Jasmine. Hoping Raye would say yes.
"Well, of cour-
"Not a chance Raye. So forget
it," replied Lita, cutting Raye off in mid-sentence.
"Oh pooh," said Raye as
she crossed her arms. No one noticed Kaiba's expression of relief.
"Okay. Does anyone else want
to take my place?" Jasmine asked.
"Sorry but Raye was your only
hope and no one else wants to go with that guy Jasmine," Lita said.
"What makes you think I want to?"
Yugi walked over towards Jasmine
and whispered to talk to her in private. She agreed and they walked over by the
door.
"Yugi, I don't want to go with
Seto Kaiba. Why can't I stay here with you?" asked Jasmine.
"I know and I want that too
but Bunny, Raye, Rini, and Sakura agreed to stay here and I have no more
room," said Yugi.
"I wish Lita hadn't stopped Raye from switching places with me. Probably would've been for the best anyway considering what could've been on her mind," said Jasmine, cringing
"Yeah.
I'll tell you what. Um… until your mom gets here and finds a place for you,
Bunny, Rini, and Sakura to live, you may have to stay with Kaiba for a while. I
know you don't want to but it shouldn't be long until your mother gets
here," Yugi said.
"Let's hope. Because I
seriously I'm not going to be happy around that guy for longer than an hour.
He's mean to you and your friends," said Jasmine.
"Don't worry about it. And to
get your mind off of him, I can take you and Sakura to an amusement park for
some fun. How does that sound?" asked Yugi.
"It sounds great. At least Sakura's staying with you, you two can bond with each other," Jasmine said excitedly.
"Great. Can you try and get
along with Kaiba?" Yugi asked.
"I'll try but I can't promise
you that I'll like him," said Jasmine.
"That's good enough for
me," said Yugi, smiling.

FP: So, whom are they all going to be staying with?
JT: First, Yugi's house- Bunny, Raye, Rini, and Sakura.

JT: Fourth, Tea's house- Amy, Trista, and Lita.
P: And you all know where Jasmine is going…Kaiba's house.
