Chapter 4 Getting Settled In
Since no one had any clothes with
them, everyone just left with who ever they were going to be staying with.
Everybody was happy except for Jasmine because she was stuck staying with Seto
Kaiba, the scum of the earth.
In Kaiba's limo, Jasmine sat at the
left side of the window and Kaiba sat at the right. Both of them didn't say a
word to each other. Kaiba managed to say something. Just to strike up a
conversation I guess.
“How come you're sitting way over
there?” he asked.
“Well, for one, I don't know you
that well, and two, I don't like you,” replied Jasmine.
“And why? You've never even met me
before,” said Kaiba.
“Your point? Besides, you're interested in my best friend Raye so I'm not even going to go down that route,” Jasmine said.
“I am not interested in your friend
Raye. She creeps me out,” Kaiba said, cringing.
“I saw that expression of your face
when you found out she wasn't able to take my place. What's the matter? Not use
to a girl coming onto you very strongly? Raye's a good person. You two might
even make a good couple,” said Jasmine, crossing her arms.
“No offense, but your friend is not
my type. I don't go for girls who are desperate for boyfriends just to be
popular,” said Kaiba rudely.
“Hey! Raye is not that type of girl. And anyway, you just met her. Give her a chance. You just might like her. I knew rich guys like you were no good.” Jasmine continued to look out the window, not paying any attention to Kaiba whatsoever.
“And where did you get a silly
notion like that from? TV?”
“No, it's just—
“A habit you have of judging people
before you get to know them. Like you're doing to me.”
“Is that why you don't like Yugi? I've heard you two have had quarrels in the past. Also heard you went AWOL as well,” said Jasmine, snickering.
“Who told you that I went AWOL? I
bet it was Wheeler. Dumb mutt.”
“Gee, you hate him too. I suppose
you hate Tristan and… Tea too?”
“How come you hesitated in saying Tea's name? You must be the one that don't like her. I on the other hand, could care less about her. She talks too much anyway. Everytime she goes into one of her friendship speeches, I feel like I want to hurl,” Kaiba said.
“You're so immature.”
“Then if I'm so immature, then why
don't you let me take you shopping to prove I'm mature?” asked Kaiba.
“That is the gayest and weakest
line guys use back in
“What? Guys use it as a pick-up line to get girls from where you're from? You people are strange.”
“Well, yeah. I guess you've never tried to pick up a girl before. And since you're offering to take me shopping for clothes and other things, I'll accept. But please don't use that line ever again. It's a turn off towards girls.” Jasmine began to laugh at what she said. Kaiba didn't laugh. Even though he thought it was a little funny so he only smiled. He told the driver told the driver to stop by the Domino City Mall.
As soon as they got to the mall,
Jasmine headed straight for the women's department. She had to drag Kaiba with
her. Just because he was a guy, he didn't want to be around women's clothing. (P: He's probably worn some before the
reason he doesn't want to go in there. G:
Now that's a Kodak moment!!)
“I refuse to go in the women's
department,” said Kaiba, crossing his arms.
“Well, this was your idea to take
me shopping. Now if you don't come with me, you're going to have to go in the
bras section with me and I know you don't want to be around women bras,”
Jasmine said, glaring at Kaiba.
“How long is it going to take for
you to find some clothes?” he asked.
“That's what I thought. Now come on,” said Jasmine as she pulled Kaiba by the arm.
While Jasmine looked for clothes, Kaiba just leaned up again a nearby wall and waited for her.
(Kaiba's POV)
She's
pretty tough for a girl. And I may take her advice on her friend. Yeah right…
when pigs fly. At least she doesn't whine like most girls I know.
(End POV)
Jasmine was way on the far left
side of the women's department looking at shirts. When she saw a red tank top
she liked, she grabbed it but someone else was grabbing onto the other end.
“Hey! Who's
back there?” asked Jasmine.
“Jasmine is that you?” the person
asked.
Jasmine realized the voiced sounded
familiar. “Sakura? Is that you?” she asked.
“Yep,” she replied coming from behind the rack of shirts.
“What are you doing here? I thought
you were at Yugi's house,” said Jasmine.
“I was. But Yugi decided to take me
shopping. Rini, Bunny, and Raye went to sleep so they'll go tomorrow. I don't
see how when they're going to be wearing the same clothes,” Sakura said.
“Well, I'm here for the same
thing,” Jasmine said as she picked a blue shirt with strops off of the shelf.
“Really? Kaiba actually decided to take you shopping? From what I've heard, he's a jackass,” said Sakura.
“Well… not technically. He's okay,
but I wouldn't say he's a great person. He didn't even want to come in the
women's department with me. I had to drag him and tell that if he didn't come
in here with me that he'd have to go to the bra section with me,” said Jasmine.
“That sounds just like a rich guy… or any guy for that matter.”
Jasmine and Sakura walked around a little bit more for some clothes before deciding to shop for some shoes.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
At Joey's house, Joey was setting up an extra bed for Mina to sleep on.
“There ya go. It's all set,”
replied Joey.
“Thanks Joey. Um… Joey, do you have
any extra clothes I can borrow until I can buy some of my own?” Mina asked.
“Uh, well, there is a nightgown my
mom had left here but it might be too small for you. I'll go and get it,” said
Joey, leaving the room.
“Okay.” Mina sat on the bed the Joey had fixed up for her.
(Mina's P.O.V)
I
wonder what happened to his mother. Did his parents divorce? That's really sad
if they did. I know what it feels like to have to live with one of parent. My
parents divorced when I was ten. I miss my dad. I feel Joey's pain.
(End P.O.V)
Joey came back in the room with his
mother's nightgown for Mina to wear. It was kind of small in a length sort of
way.
“I'm back,” he said.
“Okay. Um… is that the nightgown
you were talking about?” asked Mina.
“Yeah and it might be too small for
you,” Joey said.
“Oh, it's alright. I'll manage,” said Mina.
“A`right.
Here ya go. Well, goodnight Mina. I'll see you in the morning,” said Joey as he
left.
“Goodnight Joey,” Mina whispered softly.

Meanwhile at Tea's house, Tea's
family had just finished eating dinner when Tea came home and showed up with
Lita, Amy, and Trista.
“Hey mom!
I'm back,” Tea said.
“Hey honey. We just finished eating
dinner, but I wrapped your food up and put it in the fridge,” said Tea's mom.
“Thanks. Uh, mom these are some of
Yugi's friends. Guys, this is my mother Reva,” Tea said.
“Oh… well, nice to meet all of you,” Reva said.
“Nice to meet you
too Ms. Gardner. I'm Lita Kino,” replied Lita.
“I'm Amy Anderson. It's pleasure to
meet you,' Amy said.
“And I'm Trista Meioh. Thanks for
letting us stay here for a while,” said Trista.
“Well, you're welcome to stay here for as long as you like,” said Reva.
“Come on guys. My room is this way.
And don't worry, I have plenty of room,” said Tea, directing them towards the
hallway.
“Oh, Tea, honey?
When you get them settled in, I need to talk to you,” Reva said.
“Oh okay mom,” Tea said.
Tea showed all three girls where
her room was. They went in and Tea looked through her closet for three sleeping
bags and pj's for them to wear. When she got them settled in, she went back
into the living room to see what her mother wanted.
“You needed to talk to me about
something mom?” she asked.
“Uh yeah.
I don't trust those girls that are staying in our house,” replied Reva.
“Well, mom they're friends of
Yugi's so I don't see what's wrong with them,” said Tea.
“I don't believe that. I mean, don't you have feelings for Yugi? What if one of the little sluts falls for him? What are you going to do then?” Reva asked.
“Mom, I do have feelings for Yugi
but none of his friends I've met tonight have any competition with me. Except
for one girl,” Tea said.
“Except for one?
What do you mean? Who is this girl?” asked Reva.
“Her name is Jasmine Tsukino. She
has a twin sister named Bunny but Jasmine is my only competition. Today she
beat me at the new dance game they just opened up in the mall,” said Tea.
“What? No one has ever beaten you at dancing. Don't be intimidated by a slut like that. Look, as long as she's not dating him, you have nothing to worry about,” said Reva.
“What if it turns out that she is
dating him?” asked Tea.
“Then you do everything you can to
destroy their relationship and get your man,” Reva said.
“Mom, Yugi would hate me if I did
that. I could never stoop that low and hurt him,” Tea said.
“Then you're going to lose Yugi to a slut that really doesn't care about him,” said Reva.
Just then, Tea's cousin Chloe came
out of the kitchen. She looked at them both in disgust.
“Why aren't you in bed young lady?”
asked Reva.
“Because I'm listening to you two
make ASSES out of YOURSELVES in here,” replied Chloe, drinking some milk she
had in a cup.
“You watch your mouth young lady.
You do not talk to me like that. And you have no right to be listening to our
conversation anyway. Go to your room now,” said Reva, glaring at Chloe.
“Yeah, whatever. You guys really need help. Especially you Aunt Reva. When are you going to realize that Yugi's not interested in Tea. He doesn't even look at her that,” said Chloe.
“Oh shut up Chloe. You don't know
what you're talking about. Yugi does like me,” said Tea angrily, crossing her
arms.
“Yeah as a
friend. He doesn't love you. For all you know, he could have another
girlfriend,” Chloe said.
“Now that is enough. Now you apologize to your cousin for your silly accusations,” Reva said, also angry with Chloe.
“I don't like either one of you
anyway. The only reason I'm living here is because my mother died and my dad is
nowhere to be found. I would've preferred to live with Aunt Susan but no. You claimed you loved me enough to take me in.
Like hell you two do. The only one I'll talk to is Kristin. Now, I'm going to
bed.” Chloe left the living room and walked down the hallway to her bedroom.
“I swear that child is becoming so
much like her mother. She obviously doesn't believe in `love at first sight'
and `do whatever it takes to get the man you love'. Well, I'm going out
tonight. Behave yourselves and please keep and eye on your cousin and your dear
sister while I'm gone,” said Reva, grabbing her purse.
“Going out with Mr. Case again
aren't you? I wonder how Jessica's going to feel when she finds out that my low
class mom is dating her high-class father.” Tea scoffed.
“Don't think that way. Julius and I are quite fond of each other,” Reva said as she opened the front door to leave.
“You are hopeless mom,” said Tea,
laughing.
“I know. Goodnight and remember
what I said,” said Reva.
“I will. Goodnight,” replied Tea, as she closed the door.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Finally at Tristan's house, Amara,
Michelle, and
“Well, at least we have a place to
stay for a while. Now all we need to do is focus on Galaxia and what she has
planned,”
“You're right. There has to be a
reason we're here. But Bunny and Jasmine have no clue as to what Galaxia is
going to do either so we're just stuck,” Amara said.
“I know. You still have to call Tom
and tell him what happened,” said Michelle.
“He's out of town on family business,” said Amara.
“He seems to be away on family
business a lot. Does he ever tell you where he's going?” asked
“Not all the time but most of the
time he does,” Amara replied.
“I think that's kinda strange.
Don't you ever feel as if he's hiding something from you?” Michelle asked.
“I hate to admit it but I do get an uneasy feeling when I'm around him,” said Amara.
“Maybe he is. Who knows? But Tom
doesn't seem like the type of guy who would keep a secret,” said Michelle.
“I know. Maybe it's just me. I have
been worried a lot lately when I told him about me being a Sailor Senshi. I've
been worried that he's going to tell someone,” Amara replied worriedly.
“Tom wouldn't do that to you. He
cares about you too much to betray you like that,”
“Yeah, I guess you're right. But
I'm really worried about Hotaru right now also. I let her spend the weekend
with my parents and my little brother. Ever since Melanie went back to the
future, she has been kind of lonely. She hasn't asked me in awhile when she'll
come back,” said Amara.
“Poor thing. She misses Melanie and
I know you and Tom do as well. With her being your future daughter and all. But
don't worry; Jasmine and Bunny's mom with bring her to
“I hope you're right Michelle. Both of you really,” replied Amara.
“Okay guys, the room's all set up
and ready to be slept in,” said Tristan.
“That's really nice of you to do
this for us Tristan. We really appreciate it,” replied
“Don't mention it. A friend of Yugi's is a friend of mine. The room is this way,” Tristan said as he walked back down the hallway. All three followed Tristan to the bedroom. He had set up three futon beds. “The beds are ready so you can sleep in them. So, I'll see you guys in the morning,” Tristan as he left the room.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Meanwhile back at the Mall, Jasmine
had gotten everything that she needed and some of what she wanted and was ready
for Kaiba to pay for it all. Scumbag.
“Well, I'm ready, so all you have
to do is pay for it all,” said Jasmine, handing Kaiba everything or at least
most of it.
“Don't you think you might want to
try some of this stuff on to see if it fits? I don't think you need this many
clothes. Or shoes for that matter,” said Kaiba sarcastically.
“Was that sarcasm?”
“I don't know? Was it? You seem to know everything,” Kaiba said, crossing his arms.
“I don't know everything. Just pay
for my stuff,” she said as she ignored him.
“Whatever,” said Kaiba, putting
everything on the counter for it to be rung up.
“Good evening, Mr. Kaiba,” the
cashier said. It was a woman with short, curly blonde hair.
“There's nothing good about it,” replied Kaiba.
“Why are you so negative?” Jasmine
asked.
“I'm not,” Kaiba said.
“Yes, you are. You don't even think
the evening is good,” said Jasmine.
“Does it really matter?” asked Kaiba.
“Whatever.”
“That'll $2000 dollars. Tax was
added on sir,” the woman said.
“I know,” Kaiba replied, in a snobbish kind of way.
He handed the cashier the money,
but all he got back was $1000 dollars and some chump change. After that, they
headed out of the mall, only to be greeted by Sakura.
“What do you want shorty?” asked
Kaiba rudely.
“Oh be quiet Kaiba! Cool outfits
Jasmine,” she said, looking into Jasmine's bag.
“Thanks. Where's Yugi, by they
way?” Jasmine said.
“Over there by the car. We're going to get something to eat. What about you two or… just you?” asked Sakura.
“That depends. Since you offered to
take me shopping Kaiba, will you at least treat me to something to eat?” asked
Jasmine.
“Yeah. Like an expensive restaurant
with all that good food,” Sakura said, throwing hints.
“What do I like here? I bought you
clothes. That should be enough for you,” said Kaiba, crossing his arms.
“You're supposed to treat a lady with respect,” said Sakura.
“You don't look like a lady. You
look more like a leprechaun,” Kaiba said sarcastically. Sakura got angry and
stepped on Kaiba's foot and walked off. “What in the hell was that for!?” he
shouted.
“For calling her a leprechaun.
She's not that short. And anyway, she has a point. You take me shopping and
then don't want to buy me anything to eat?! What kinda host are you?”
“Look, I didn't even want anyone one of you at my house but I was only doing this as a favor for Yugi. He practically begged me so I caved in. You're not getting anything else out of me and I'm not taking you to a restaurant and that's final!” shouted Kaiba at the top of his lungs.
(Jasmine's POV)
This
guy must think I'm crazy if he thinks I'm going to give up that easily. He
doesn't know me very well.
(End POV)
“How could you be so me and yell at
me like that!? WHAAAAAAAAAA!!!”
“Huh? Hey, stop crying!! I'm not
taking you to a restaurant and that's final!! So forget it!!” Kaiba shouted.
“WHAAAAA!!!”
On-lookers were starring at them
and commenting on what a jerk Kaiba was for making Jasmine cry. Sakura and Yugi
were in the car watching as well.
“All right! All right!! I'll take
you to a restaurant. Just please… stop crying,” begged Kaiba.
“Yay!!! If you weren't such a mean
person I swear I'd say I love you,” she said, hugging him.
“I need an aspirin,” replied Kaiba.
“Let's just go. And Sakura and Yugi can join us,” Jasmine replied.
“They already left,” Kaiba said.
“No, they haven't. They're right over there in the car,” said Jasmine, pointing towards them.
Kaiba turned around and saw that
Jasmine wasn't lying. He couldn't say anything because he knew that she was
right. Jasmine walked over to the car. Yugi and Sakura were in for going to a
restaurant and she told them to follow Kaiba's limo to whatever restaurant
Kaiba was taking her.
“Well, I told them and they said they'd be happy to join us. So, what ever restaurant you take me to and it'd better be a good one.” Jasmine got into Kaiba's limo and left him standing outside of it, dumfounded.
(Kaiba's POV)
Why
do I get the feeling that I've been made an ass out of?
(End POV)
Kaiba got in the limo and told the
driver to go to a restaurant called The Quiet Time. (JT: The name of the restaurant came from a poster in my English
class. My teacher had it hanging up in the room. P: That is so damn ghetto. FP:
Hey when you can't think of anything, posters can come in handy. G: I agree. P: It's still ghetto.)
All four of them got to the
restaurant in ten minutes. Well, basically because Kaiba kept rushing the
driver to go faster. And poor Yugi almost got a ticket for speeding. Anyway,
they all went inside and it was huge. Plus it was a packed night. Big
businesses were in town and most of them were there to promote something or
someone.
“Wow! This place is packed!”
exclaimed Sakura.
“Is this place always packed like
his Kaiba?” asked Yugi.
“Only when businesses from across
the world are in town,” Kaiba replied.
“Really now? So where are we going to sit?” Jasmine asked.
“Keep asking and I may have us sit
some place you don't feel comfortable sitting at,” said Kaiba.
“Gee, you're a real host,” replied
Sakura, crossing her arms.
Just then, a waitress came over and greeted them. “Hello,
Mr. Kaiba. I see you have friends with you tonight,” she said.
“They're not friends. Trust me,”
Kaiba said.
“We're his guests. Isn't that right Kaiba?” Jasmine said.
“Whatever.” Kaiba crossed his arms.
“Oh, okay. Well, I'm Trisha and
I'll be serving you tonight. Would you recommend the small table or the medium
sized table?” asked Trisha, smiling.
“Small. They're not a big group,”
said Kaiba, handing Trisha the money for the table.
“Small!? You've got to be kidding
me,” said Sakura angrily.
“Keep complaining half pint or you won't be eating anything,” Kaiba said.
“Half pint!!!??” Sakura got really
mad and stepped on Kaiba's foot again, causing him to fall on the floor.
Scattered laughter came from the people in the restaurant.
“Sakura, please calm down. We're in
a restaurant. Besides, cut Kaiba some slack. He didn't even want to do this in
the first place. And stop stepping on his feet,” said Yugi.
“Yes Yugi. Can I kick him instead?”
she asked.
“No, you can't kick him either,” Yugi, said.
“Fine.
Don't piss me off and I won't have to hurt you ,”
Sakura said, walking past Kaiba, who was still on the floor.
“Good thing Galaxia's goon hasn’t
showed up or she'll be cursing her out instead of Kaiba,” whispered Jasmine, to
Yugi.
“I agree. I figure she'll get tired
of torturing Kaiba after a while,” said Yugi.
“I doubt that. It's her idea of entertainment,” Jasmine said.
“Kinda like how you and your
friends use to torture me and my friends when we were younger. You guys really
thought that was entertainment?” Yugi asked.
“Well, back then we did but we
wouldn't do that to you now. Maybe to Scott but not you,” said Jasmine.
“I kinda figured you guys wouldn't leave him alone,” replied Yugi.
They finally found a place to sit…
in the back of the restaurant. Can you guess whose idea that was? I'll give you
a hint. It's the person who paid for it.
“Are you embarrassed to have us sit
in the middle of the restaurant or something?” asked Jasmine.
“Is there a problem?” Kaiba asked.
“Yeah, you're not being a very good
host to us Kaiba. You're being mean,” replied Sakura.
“Me? What about you? You keep stepping on my feet when I did nothing to you,” said Kaiba.
“You look so damn gay from this
angle,” Sakura said, snickering afterwards.
“I'm going to pretend I didn't hear
that,” replied Kaiba.
“I don't care. You still look gay,”
said Sakura.
“Sakura, you promised you'd cut Kaiba some slack,” Yugi said.
“I'd like to slice him in half with
a meat cutter,” muttered Sakura.
“There'll be plenty of time to
slice him in half later,” Jasmine spoke up.
“You heard me?”
“You're not very keen on muttering things to yourself in a very low voice,” said Jasmine.
“Great. Well, let's see what's on
the menu,” Sakura said as she picked it up and looked at it.
“The Baked Chicken w/ salad sounds
good,” replied Yugi.
“A Saltine Steak w/ Salad or
dessert is calling my name,” Sakura said.
“Sushi w/ Salad or other vegetarian options sounds delicious,” Jasmine said.
“Raw fish huh? Hope you don't die
from eating it,” said Sakura sarcastically.
“You don't die from eating Sushi.
It's quite good actually. I've tried it before,” Yugi said.
“I guess I'll order the Sushi w/
Salad. What are you ordering Kaiba? You haven't said a word,” said Jasmine as
she held her fork up in Kaiba's face.
“Why does it matter to you whether I say anything or not?” Kaiba asked.
Jasmine kicked Kaiba in the leg. He
bit his lower lip to show that it didn't hurt when it did. “I just asked you a
question.”
“Forget him. Here comes the waitress,” Sakura said.
The waitress Trisha was coming over
to their table to take their orders. “Good evening. I suppose everyone is ready
to order?” she asked.
“Well, we are. I don't know about
him,” replied Jasmine.
“I guess you'll be having your
usual order Mr. Kaiba?” asked Trisha.
“Yeah and a bottle of Red Wine,” Kaiba requested.
“If you haven't noticed Mr. Scrotum-sucker, I can't drink Red Wine. I'm only 14,” said Sakura.
(P: Dude, I don't know what's wrong with that girl. Give me some liquor any day and bet you I'll drink it. G: I might but Red Wine seems too rich for my blood. JT: I'm not drinking until I'm legal age. FP: Not me. I've been drinking since I was ten. JT: You lie. FP: Nope. P: Hook me up.)
“Well, over here in
“Well, I want the Saltine Steak w/
Cheesecake and water,” Sakura said.
“And I'll have the Baked Chicken w/
Salad and water also,” said Yugi.
“I'm having the Sushi w/ Salad and I'll go with Mr. Scrotum-sucker. I want Red Wine as well,” replied Jasmine.
Kaiba just glared at Jasmine.
“Planning on getting drunk tonight
Kaiba?” Sakura laughed.
“What's it to you pip squeak?”
asked Kaiba.
“I'll come back with your orders
soon,” said Trisha leaving but looked as if she was running instead.
“Do you always scare off the waiters and waitresses?” said Kaiba sarcastically.
“Can I kick him? He started it,”
Sakura said through gritted teeth with her fists balled up as well.
“No, you can't kick him Sakura,”
said Jasmine. “Maybe tomorrow,” she whispered.
“Cool,” said Sakura.
“So, when you're not working Kaiba, what do you do in your spare time?” asked Jasmine.
“I never have free time. I always
work,” Kaiba replied.
“Do you sleep for god sakes!?”
Sakura said.
“Not all the time.”
“I can tell. The bags under your eyes tell the story,” Jasmine said, snickering.
“Kaiba has done some good things
for this town too you know,” Yugi said.
“Yeah right. And I'm the queen of
“What do you do since you're being
more sarcastic than I am?” Kaiba asked.
“Me and two of my friends that are
back in
“No. I didn't say I did.”
“You didn't even have to say it.
Your face expression tells me you’ve got a problem with it.”
“Whatever.”
“Jasmine and her friends can sing really good. They've been singing ever since they were ten,” replied Yugi.
“You're making me blush Yugi,” said
Jasmine, giggling.
“Well, you do have a beautiful
voice,” said Yugi.
“Oh thank you Yugi. I love you so
much,” she said, hugging him.
“I love you too Jasmine,” Yugi said.
“What, are you two dating or
something?” asked Kaiba, arching his left eyebrow.
“Yes, we are dating,” Yugi, said.
“Okay. Second question: how come
Sakura looks like you Yugi?” Kaiba asked.
“Uh… we're uh related,” replied Yugi.
“Uh, yeah.
Like cousins only we look alike,” Sakura, said.
“Oh look. Here comes Trisha and other waiters with our food,” Jasmine pointed out, trying to change the subject.
Trisha and the waiters handed them
their food and handed Kaiba the bottle of Red Wine and Yugi and Sakura a glass
of water.
“I hope you all will stay long
enough to see our entertainment that we have tonight,” said Trisha.
“That depends. What's the
entertainment?” asked Sakura.
“Well, different people around town
or in the restaurant do acts or sings to entertain the
guests. And tonight a group is coming to sing,” Trisha said.
“Sounds good,” Yugi replied.
“Okay, enjoy your dinner,” said
Trisha, leaving.
“Eww! You like hot sauce Kaiba?”
asked Jasmine, disgusted.
“Yes, why?” answered Kaiba.
“Because hot sauce is disgusting. How can you eat it without setting your mouth on fire?” Sakura asked as she ate a piece of her steak.
“That's your opinion. I happen to
like it,” Kaiba said.
“Yuck. I think it's disgusting,” said Jasmine.
They sat in silence as they ate
until Jasmine grabbed the bottle of Red Wine from Kaiba.
“You could've asked for it,” Kaiba
replied.
“I don't know where your hands have
been. I don't trust you,” Jasmine said.
“You still should've asked instead
of snatching the bottle away from me,” Kaiba said.
“You've drunken almost half of the bottle anyway. You're not the only one who likes Red Wine,” said Jasmine.
“Well, I guess it's going to be a
war over who gets to drink the rest of it huh?” joked Sakura.
“I'm not fighting for it. She can
have it if she wants it,” said Kaiba.
Jasmine pours some of the Red Wine
into her glass and takes a sip of it. “Ew! What decade is this?” she asked.
“The decade I was born in,” Kaiba replied.
“Really? And what decade is that?
The 18th century?” Jasmine asked sarcastically.
“Uh no. 18 years ago not the 18th
century,” Kaiba said.
“You're 18? I thought you were at
least forty,” Sakura said.
“I'm not forty you little—
“Attention folks! I'm sorry but we have to inform you that our entertainment will not be here tonight. They've decided to go their separate ways and that they aren't going to play for you all tonight. Sorry everyone,” said the waiter.
Boos and hisses came from the
crowd. They even started throwing their food and utensils at the waiter and
made him curl up into a fetal position. (P:
Oh yeah, real mature of them.)
“Sakura! What are you booing and
hissing for!? Stop that,” Jasmine said.
“Why should I? There's no
entertainment,” replied Sakura.
“Hey I got an idea. Why don't you
be the entertainment Jasmine?” Yugi asked.
“Me? No offense Yugi but the songs I sing might be too much for this crowd,” said Jasmine.
“Who cares!?
Just get up on stage before I have to hit an elderly man and go to jail for
it!!” shouted Kaiba, as an elderly man kept throwing his utensils at Kaiba
instead of the waiter that was on stage.
“Oh fine,” Jasmine said as she got
up from the table and walked towards the stage. She tapped the waiter on the
shoulder, he was still in fetal position need I remind you, and told him that
she'd be the entertainment.
“Folks please. Stop throwing your
utensils and food for a minute,” the waiter said. The crowd calmed down. “Thank
you. This young lady has agreed to sing for you all so it looks like you'll be
having your entertainment tonight.” He turned towards Jasmine. “They're all
yours,” he said as he ran off the stage, like hell was waiting for him.
“Uh well, I'm going to be singing a song called My Love is Like Wo and I hope you all enjoy it.” Jasmine turned around towards the musicians and told them what to play and then picked three women out of the audience and told them what parts to sing. They were the chorus. Now they were ready.
(Jasmine)

Jasmine and the 3 women she picked walked off stage and around the crowd. The men were whistling and howling like dogs. Arf!
(Jasmine)
When will you come through?
'Cause I'll be waitin' up right here
Can you bring some Belvedere?
So we can pop the cork and cheers
When will you come through?
'Cause I'll be waitin' up right here
Can you bring some Belvedere?
So we can pop the cork and cheers
(Chorus: 3 Women)

And you're kissing it
So what you think of it?
Jasmine walked over towards the
table she was sitting at and sat on Yugi's lap. He turned a crimson red. No one
noticed it though but Kaiba had a look of jealousy on his face. Jasmine gave
Yugi a kiss on the cheek before going over towards Kaiba. She walked behind
Kaiba and began to pull his chair out. She then walked back in front of him,
grabbed his left hand and began to rub it down her breasts and stomach.
Now Yugi was the one that was jealous. Kaiba tried to reach for his glass with Red Wine inside of it but Jasmine stopped him by putting her foot on his chest, which is something he doesn't have, and leaned his chair back. She leaned it so far back that Kaiba fell out of the chair and onto the floor. Everyone started laughing at him.
(Chorus: 3 Women)
My love is like...wo
My kiss is like...wo
My touch is like...wo
My sex is like...wo (Jasmine) you'll never find
nothing better
My ass is like...wo
My body's like...wo
And you're kissin' it (Jasmine)

And you're kissin' it
So what you think of it
(Jasmine)

My love is like… wo
My kiss is like… wo
My touch is like… wo
You know it's like…wo!
The crowd applauded at Jasmine's
performance. Jasmine thanked the three women who helped her sing it with her.
She went back to the table and sat next to Yugi. Sakura was still laughing at
what Jasmine had done to Kaiba.
“You were excellent Jasmine,” said
Yugi, clapping.
“Thank you Yugi. I thought that
everyone would hate me and do me the same thing to me like they did to the
waiter that was on stage,” replied Jasmine.
“Are you kidding? You were great!
And just imagine what's going through most of these men’s' minds right now,”
Sakura said.
“Ew. I don't want to know,” Jasmine said.
“You were okay,” Kaiba managed to
say after drinking the rest of the Red Wine that was left in the bottle. From
the bottle. Ha!
“Just okay? From the looks of it,
you enjoyed my performance. You finished the rest of the Red Wine I left in
there.”
“Yeah. Just admit it Kaiba. It's
the first time in 18 years since you've gotten a hard on,” Sakura said while
laughing.
“Shut up! That is not true,” Kaiba said.
“Yes it is. Unless you've
masturbated to give yourself a hard on, then I'm going with first 18 years. You
look like a guy who'd play with himself,” said Sakura, still laughing.
“Ew, Sakura please, no more. My
ears can't take it,” Yugi said, covering his ears.
“Never mind. I'll stop,” she said.
“Well, I'm going to the restroom. I'll be right back,” Jasmine said getting up from the table.
“How pathetic. Can't even be man
enough to say that your manhood has risen up,” replied Sakura.
“Ew, Sakura I said stop,” said
Yugi.
“Sorry Yugi.”
“You act more like a five year old instead of a fourteen year old,” said Kaiba sarcastically.
“I've had enough of your smart
remarks you limp noodle!!!” she shouted across the table, which made everyone
in the restaurant become very quiet.
“Sakura! Calm down, we're in a
restaurant. I told you to lay off. And Kaiba you're no better than she is. Quit
saying smart remarks to make her mad,” Yugi said angrily.
“Whatever Yugi. Just tell her not
to respond to what I say and we won't have any problems,” Kaiba replied.
“Agreed. I won't have to kill you now,” Sakura said.
“Sakura quit it,” said Yugi.
“Yes Yugi,” she said.
Just then, Jasmine came back from
the restroom. “So, did I miss anything besides Sakura and Kaiba going at each
others throats?” she asked.
“Nothing good,” replied Yugi.
“Can we go now? I'm sick of Kaiba
right now,” said Sakura.
“I'm sick of you too,” he replied.
Jasmine smacked him upside the
head.
“I guess so. I'll see you tomorrow
Jasmine,” Yugi said getting up.
“Same to you too. Oh, what time do
you want me to come over?” Jasmine asked.
“10's okay. I always get up late,”
said Yugi.
“Okay. See you both tomorrow and behave yourself Sakura,” Jasmine replied.
“I will. Bye Jasmine,” Sakura said, waving. “Bye,” said Jasmine.
Yugi and Sakura left the restaurant
to go back to his house.
“We need to leave also. It's late,”
Jasmine, said.
“I'll be right back,” Kaiba said,
getting up.
“And where are you going?” Jasmine
asked.
“I can't go to the bathroom in peace?” asked Kaiba.
“Oh well go ahead. I'm not stopping
you. I can't wait for more than five minutes. I'm a very impatient person,”
said Jasmine.
“I'll bet. I can take as long as I want. Besides, I'm you're only ride and way home. So I can change my mind anytime I want and not take you to my house,” Kaiba said walking off.
“Jerk,” muttered Jasmine.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Kaiba's P.O.V)
Okay,
so Jasmine may be a pain but why do I have this strong sense that I know her
from somewhere? And why did I get jealous when she paid more attention to Yugi?
I'm so confused. But I can't let her distract me. I have more important things
on my mind right now.
(End P.O.V)
Kaiba finally came out of the men's
room and back to the table where Jasmine was not sitting. The bill was left on
the table. Kaiba paid for it and went to find out where Jasmine has gone. The
left the restaurant and Jasmine standing by the limo.
“Why did you leave the
restaurant?!” shouted Kaiba angrily.
“I know you must be talking to
someone else like that because I know it's not me,' said Jasmine,” glaring at
Kaiba.
“No one else out here looks like you! I don't care if I do take too long, you still should've waited for me!!! I'm not going to be responsible for what happens to you!!” Kaiba shouted at the top of his lungs.
Jasmine slapped Kaiba. “I can see
right now that Red Wine has gone to your brain already. I'm not going to stand
here and let you yell at me like that. I don't why you're still blaming Yugi
like all of this is his fault because I know you still are. It's not like I'm
going to be around you forever. It's only for a little while until my mom gets
here. So stop bitching and get in the damn limo,” said Jasmine angrily as she
got in and slammed the door right in Kaiba's face.
“God I need an aspirin,” replied Kaiba as he walked to the other side of the limo and got in.
The drive to Kaiba's mansion was
quiet. Neither Jasmine nor Kaiba said anything to break the silence. Kaiba did
manage to say something.
“I'm sorry for yelling at you,” he
replied.
“What did you say?” asked Jasmine
as she turned around to face him.
“I said I'm sorry for yelling at
you like that. I know I shouldn't have. I had too much to drink tonight,” Kaiba
said.
“Now you want to apologize? It's a little bit too late for that,” Jasmine said.
“Well, you were right. I had been
complaining too much. I'd been blaming Yugi when it's not really his fault. And
I know you're staying with me only until your mom comes so I can understand
that,” said Kaiba.
“Now you can understand that? You
really need to make up your mind,” replied Jasmine.
“Well, if you don't mind me saying this but if feels as if I've met you somewhere before.” Kaiba was silent at that moment before he turned around to look out of the window.
Jasmine just looked at him
strangely and didn't bother to reply to what he had just said. And with that,
they were both silent the rest of the drive to the
It only took five minutes to get to the mansion. When they
got there, the butlers helped Jasmine get her things out of the limo and into
the mansion.
“It's not that big. I've seen
celebrity houses bigger than this,” replied Jasmine.
“So? If you got a problem with the
way it is than you can sleep outside,” said Kaiba as he went into the mansion.
“Screw that,” Jasmine said following him.
They went upstairs to where the
bedrooms were. The hallway was huge.
“What do you need with all this
rooms?” asked Jasmine.
“Stuff.
Right now they're being fumigated so the only rooms available are mine and my
little brother's,” Kaiba replied.
“Okay. I got dibs on your bed,”
said Jasmine as she ran into Kaiba's room.
“Hey wait!” he shouted.
When she went in, it looked pretty
normal for a guy that lives with his little brother, maids, and butlers. The
bed was huge of course.
“Your room is depressing, no
offense,” Jasmine said.
“None taken. I'm sorry if I'm not
the out going type person like you are,” Kaiba said.
“So? I still got dibs on your bed,”
said Jasmine as she sat on it.
“Oh no, you are not sleeping in my bed. You can sleep on the futon bed or in the doghouse. Choose wisely,” said Kaiba, crossing his arms.
“What happened to the dog?”
“It died.”
“From what? Poison?”
“No, old age. Don't change the subject. Get off my bed now,” Kaiba said as he pulled Jasmine by the arm and snatched her off of his bed. (P: That sum bitch!! JT: He's a total asshole. G: Of course he is. I want to kill him. FP: I'll help!!)
“You jackass.
You didn't have to do that,” Jasmine said.
“You wouldn't get off my bed. You
can sleep on the futon or in the doghouse. Choose already. I don't have all
night,” said Kaiba as he sat on his bed.
“Where's the futon bed then?” asked Jasmine.
Kaiba got up and walked over
towards his closet. He opened it and pulled out the futon bed he kept babbling
about. Then something else fell out of his closet but he didn't know it. He sat
the futon bed up for Jasmine. A sheet was already on it. It just needed some
cover. But Jasmine was over by Kaiba's closet.
“What's this?” she asked.
“What's what?” Kaiba asked as he
turned around and saw Jasmine near his closet holding up a pink stuffed bunny.
“A bunny what does it look like to
you?”
“You have a soft side?” Jasmine started snickering.
“Sometimes,” he said snatching the
bunny out of Jasmine's hand and throwing back up in the closet.
“That's cruelty to animals you know
that don't you?” Jasmine asked.
“It's stuffed. It can't feel anything,” said Kaiba.
“You don't know that.” Jasmine went
through her bags of clothes and found a night outfit she'd picked out. She went
into Kaiba's bathroom and changed into it. Kaiba just sat back on his bed.
Jasmine came back out in skimpy lingerie. “Does the futon have springs in the
mattress?” she asked.
“Yes it does. Problem?” Kaiba asked.
“Yeah there is. I don't sleep on
beds with springs. Maybe you do but I don't. So I can kick you off of your bed
and onto the futon that way I won't have to sleep on that thing,” said Jasmine.
“Like you'd actually do it.”
Jasmine walked over to the other
side of Kaiba's bed, got on top of it, and kicked Kaiba in the butt with her
foot and he fell onto the futon bed.
“Looks like you've got the futon
bed tonight. Don't get back pains,” joked Jasmine. She
pulled the covers back and got under them. “Just like my bed back at home,” she
sighed.
“Don't get use to it. You're
sleeping on this futon tomorrow night.” Kaiba began to take his clothes off and
was only left with his red boxers on.
“Ew. You
could've done that in the bathroom,” replied Jasmine.
“I'm in my own room and house. I don't need you to tell me what to do,” Kaiba said.
“And why would I tell you to strip
down to your boxers. It's not like you have anything I want to see but…ew.”
“Just go to sleep,” said Kaiba.
“Fine,” said Jasmine as she turned
off the lamp. Both of them went to sleep.
