            Chapter 10 A Birthday Gone Wrong pt. 1

 

            The month of May has come and gone and in rolls the month of June.  So far, everyone is situated into places they’re going to be staying.  Michelle, Amara, Trista, and Darien have enrolled at Domino University.

            The younger girls have finally enrolled at Domino High and they start in a week.  The little ones, Sammy, Melanie, and Rini were enrolled at Domino Elementary and Hotaru and Sakura are enrolled at Domino Junior High.

            They’ve also been situated into homes as well.  Mina is going to continue staying with Joey, even though Joey’s father doesn’t like the idea.  Probably because of the fact that he has something dirty on his mind or because Mina wanted her cat Artemis to stay as well. 

 

            Amy, Lita, and Raye moved into Maywood Apartments, thanks to Jasmine forcing Kaiba to give them the money to stay there.  Brittany and Carmen are staying in the same neighborhood Jasmine and her family is living in.  And finally, Hotaru and Melanie, they’re going to be staying with Amara in her dorm room.

            And everyone knows about Chibi-Chibi.  Kaiba’s not too fond of the idea of having her stay with him for two weeks and then he gives her to Jasmine and she keeps Chibi-Chibi for two weeks and they switch again.  Everyone thinks she’s the cutest little thing.  So far she doesn’t like three people.  Joey, Tea, and Sammy.  She’s okay with everyone else just not those three.  They don’t know why but I do.

            Now that all of that is taken care of, on to the main event: Throwing a birthday party.  Yes, throwing a birthday party.  It’s for Yugi, Jasmine and Bunny.  Yugi’s birthday was June sixth but he didn’t want a part; he just wanted to have a romantic date with Jasmine. 

 

So since Jasmine and Bunny’s birthday was coming up, everyone decided that it should be a party for Yugi, Jasmine, and Bunny.  Yugi agreed and the party is this weekend.  Oh boy, how are they going to have a party for three people? 

"Seto, why don't you want to go to the birthday party at the Tsukino house tomorrow?  It'll be fun," replied Mokuba. 

Mokuba had been in his brother's office for thirty minutes, begging him to go to the party that's tomorrow.  So far, Kaiba's answer was...no. 

"I already told you Mokuba.  I don't want to go because I don't like Yugi and I really don't like Jasmine," replied Kaiba.

"But you still haven't said whether or not you hate Bunny," said Mokuba.

"She's okay.  I just don't like her friend Raye," Kaiba said.

"Why?"

 

"Because she portrays herself as being really desperate for a boyfriend.  Sorry, but I'm not interested in girls that throw themselves at me," said Kaiba.

"She just likes you is all.  Maybe you should give her a chance," Mokuba said.

"I'd rather bury myself alive with the worms and bugs than to ever go out with Raye.”

"You're being mean big brother.  Please come to the party with me tomorrow.  Please," Mokuba begged, while also giving Kaiba the puppy dog eyes.

 

"If it'll make you feel better, I'll go."

"Great!  Then you, me, and Chibi- Chibi can go gift shopping while the stores are still open.  The sooner we start, the sooner we can finish.  I'll go get Chibi-Chibi out of the playroom you set up for her."  Mokuba ran out of his brother's office in excitement.

 

Niles came walking in as soon as he saw Mokuba running out of Kaiba’s office.  “What’s he so happy about sir?” he asked.

“He’s happy because I caved in and decided to go to that birthday party the Tsukino Family are having tomorrow,” Kaiba replied.

“I see.  I hope this means you’re turning over a new leaf,” Niles said.

“Don’t flatter yourself.  Besides, don’t you have a maid to sleep with?”

 

“Why sir, what makes you think that I’m sleeping with one of the maids?” asked Niles, trying to look innocent.

“Oh please, you think I’m really dumb don’t you?  I know that you and Mildred sneak around when I’m not looking and you both go into one of the vacant bedrooms to do God knows what,” Kaiba said.

“Well sir, if you know that much, then why don’t you find yourself a woman and get laid.  Preferably Miss Jasmine is who you’re interested in?” Niles was literally trying to get on Kaiba’s nerves.

“Jasmine?  What makes you think that I would be interested in her?” asked Kaiba, trying to pretend that he didn’t know what Niles was talking about.

 

“I’ll give you a hint: while Mildred and some of the other maids were cleaning around in your room while you were asleep, they heard you call out Jasmine’s name in your sleep.” Niles crossed his arms and started smiling.

“Your point? That doesn’t mean I like her.” Kaiba paid no mind to Niles and started typing away at his computer.

“Then what does it mean sir?  Aw, too bad though.  You and Ms. Jasmine would make quite a pair if you two were together.  But since you don’t like her I guess there’s not much to say.” Niles was trying to make Kaiba mad on purpose.

“Yeah, whatever,” Kaiba said, still typing and not looking up at Niles.

 

“I mean she is rather attractive, but since you don’t notice, she might already have a boyfriend.  Well, considering the circumstances, you don’t seem to find any woman attractive.”

 

Niles was really beginning to get on Kaiba’s nerves.  But Kaiba was trying as best he could not to lose his cool.

“And to think that girl that Master Mokuba mentioned… Raye was it?  She likes you but you said you’d rather bury yourself alive than to go out with her.  She’s probably attractive too but I don’t even know what she looks like.”

 

Kaiba couldn’t take it anymore. He stood up and banged both of his hands on his desk.

“You want the truth Niles?!  Here’s the truth, I like Jasmine okay!!??  No, scratch that, I don’t just like Jasmine, I’m in love with her!!  I’ve dreamt about being with her, marrying her, hell I’ve even dreamt about making passionate love to her!!!  Oh God you don’t know what I am feeling right now!!!” Kaiba blurted out at the top of his lungs

Niles was silent for a moment and then he began to say something. “Now we’re getting somewhere.”

“Oh for heaven sakes!!” shouted Kaiba as he turned towards the window in his office and looked out of it.

“You’re acting as if you couldn’t tell me this.  I’ve felt the same way when I was your age.  Why don’t you just tell her how you feel sir?” Niles suggested.

 

“I-I can’t,” Kaiba said.

“Why not? You said it yourself.  You’re in love with her.”

“I can’t tell her… because she’s already in love with someone else,” said Kaiba.

“Who?” Niles asked.

 

“Yugi Moto.

“Ah, your rival.  He’s dating Ms. Jasmine.  So, what are you going to do?”

“Nothing.  I’m not going to do anything because I’m not going to tell her.  She deserves to be happy.  Even if it’s not with me.  Besides, if I do tell her, she’d probably start doubting how she feels towards Yugi.  And I can’t do that.  I won’t do that.” Kaiba continued to look out the window.

“I see sir.  I can tell that you do love her the way you say you do.  You love her enough to respect the fact that she’s with someone else.  By why couldn’t you tell me this?  I wouldn’t tell anyone,” Niles said.

 

“And you’d better not.  That includes Mokuba.  I don’t want anyone to know how I feel about Jasmine and I mean that,” Kaiba replied, sternly.

“I promise.  I won’t tell sir,” said Niles as he did a gesture with his hand showing Kaiba that he’d keep his word.

 

“Hey Seto, are you ready to go?  I got Chibi-Chibi,” Mokuba replied, peering inside his brother’s office.

“Yes, I am.” Kaiba turned around towards Niles.  “We’ll finish this conversation later,” he said as he left the office.

“Yes sir.”

Meanwhile at the Gardner family house, Chloe and Kristin were picking out an outfit to wear at the birthday party tomorrow.

“I’m so happy that we get to have some fun once in awhile.  The Tsukino family are pretty cool and so are their friends,” Chloe said excitedly.

“What are you going to wear to the party Chloe?” asked Kristin.

“I haven’t decided yet.  I’ve cleaned out most of my closet trying to do that.  You should wear your cute purple little dress.  You still haven’t worn that yet,” Chloe said.

“But mom says I should only wear it on special occasions,” replied Kristin.

 

“Forget what Aunt Reva says.  They’re your clothes.  You should be able to wear them whenever you want to.  And don’t listen to Tea either.  She’s just like Aunt Reva,” said Chloe.

“But they always tell me to listen to them or I’ll be grounded,” said Kristin.

“You’re six years old.  You shouldn’t be grounded until you’re at least eleven.  They’re just full of sh-

 

“Chloe, Kristin, time to do your chores,” Tea said.

“Don’t you know how to knock?  It’s really rude to barge into someone’s room without their permission to enter it,” replied Chloe.

Tea scoffed.  “You’re no one special Chloe.  No do your chores or I’ll tell mom you want do them,” said Tea, annoyed.

 

“Two words: fuck you.  You’re no one special either.  That’s why Yugi’s dating Jasmine and not you.  When me and Kristin are finish picking out our outfits for the party, then we’ll do our chores,” Chloe said as she went back into her closet looking for another outfit.

 

“I’m going to the party also Chloe,” Tea replied snobbishly.

“So?  I could care less if you and Aunt Reva got ran over by a freight train.  You’re just going so you can flaunt yourself in front of Yugi,” Chloe said sarcastically.

“Whatever!!” Tea shouted angrily as she slammed the door.

“Bitch,” muttered Chloe.

 

Reva was in the kitchen making dinner when she saw Tea storm into the living room, looking mad, and sat down on the couch.  “What’s wrong honey?” she asked.

“My life.  No offense mom, but Yugi is always going to see me as just a friend.  Nothing more,” said Tea.

 

“You’re just going to give up already?  No, no, no!!  That is not how I raised you.  I raised you to keep fighting for what you want.  Now, so far, you’ve been quiet lately and haven’t told me anything about Yugi and the little wench that was all over him.  So is he dating her?” asked Reva.

“Well, if you must know, yes he is dating her.  Yugi wanted me to be happy for him and be friends with Jasmine,” Tea told her.

 

“Be friends with that whore?  Oh, you’ve got to be joking.  There’s no way you can do that.  And don’t you even think about doing so either.  Now, I remember you telling me about a birthday party going on at the Tsukino house tomorrow,” Reva replied.

“Yeah so?”

“So?”  Reva scoffed.  “You’ve got to go there and show Yugi that you’re the woman for him.  And you can take Sasha with you to make sure nothing goes wrong.  And you can get Jessica to help you.  I don’t see why you didn’t become friends with her,” said Reva.

 

“Jessica is way too much trouble.  Once you get into a situation with her, it’s like you’re indebted to her for the rest of your life.  She maybe rich but she knows how to manipulate people,” said Tea.

“Exactly my point.  That’s one reason I’m dating her father.  To have our family be supported and for you… to be living in the lap of luxury with the man of your dreams,” Reva said.

“Like her father will actually marry you mom.  But I did have an idea of my own,” Tea said.

“What idea?”

 

“Well, my idea involved Kaiba.  Though I know he wouldn’t help me.  But I was thinking, that I could somehow… pair Yugi’s girlfriend off with Kaiba,” explained Tea.

“Really?  Oh honey, it’s going to take a miracle for you to pull it off without someone figuring out that you had something to do with it.  No, what you need is a good strong plan that’s foolproof.  What you’ve got so far is good, but it’s needs a little more… I don’t know… really good planning,” explained Reva.

“What did you have in mind?” asked Tea.

 

“Well,” started Reva as she sat down next to Tea on the couch, “first, you need to figure out if Kaiba likes this Jasmine girl.  He won’t tell you in his exact words if he likes her or not but he’ll beat around the bush and stutter a lot.  I know men.  They always do this.”

“Well, you’re out of luck because they hate each other’s guts.  Jasmine makes it really obvious that she can’t stand him.  I really don’t know about Kaiba.  They guy acts like an ass so much, it’s hard to tell if he has feelings for someone,” Tea said.

 

“Well, behind a cool and cold heart is always a heart of warmth and feeling.  It’s a cover up.  Don’t be fooled by that.  Look, wear your best outfit and invite your best friend Sasha to go with you.  If you can be alone with Yugi long enough to tell him that Jasmine is not good enough for him and can’t be trusted, he’ll start to doubt his relationship with her,” Reva explained.

“Bad idea.  Kristin and Chloe want to go as well.  And Chloe is going to stop me from talking to Yugi every chance she gets.  She forbids me to come between Yugi and Jasmine,” replied Tea.

“She’s only doing it because she doesn’t like the idea of you being happy.  Don’t pay any attention to her.  Now, go pick out your best and sexiest outfit to impress Yugi with tomorrow and call Sasha and invite her to the party.  Go on.”  Reva began pushing Tea into the hallway towards her room.

 

As for Reva, she sat back down on the couch.

 

(Reva’s POV)

So the war begins.  Hmm.  I’m going to like torturing Diane Tuskino’s daughter.  It’s payback for what she did to me six years ago.  I could be living in the lap of luxury in a mansion but instead I’m living in a mediocre home.  My life was ruined thanks to Diane.  And she will pay.  One way or another.  I have something of hers that she’s been looking for, for years but has never found it.

And she never will.  Not if I have anything to say about it.  It’s only a matter of time, before her whole world comes crashing down.  And her family goes down with her.  Her daughter will not treat my Tea the way I was treated.  No, I will make sure their lives are filled with pain and despair.

At the Tsukino family house, it was pretty much quiet.  Except the fact that Sammy was trying to get on Jasmine nerves of course.  Diane was in the kitchen cooking dinner and extra food for the party tomorrow.

“Hey, mom thanks for going back to Miami to get Luna.  She would’ve been so bored at Aunt Grace’s house,” Bunny said, walking into the kitchen and heading straight for the fridge.

 

“Well, I had another reason for going back to get her.  She has the ability to talk and if I know my sister, she has a lot of guests over at her house and there would be no way for poor Luna to even have peace to herself.  And also, if I brought Luna with me, I’d have to bring Mina’s cat Artemis because I knew she didn’t feel the same without him telling her what to do a lot of the time,” explained Diane.

 

“That’s really going to be a problem.  She decided to stay at Joey’s house but it’s going to be hard for Artemis to talk around the house without Joey or his father freaking out about the cat is talking,” said Bunny.

“As long as she tells him certain times when he can talk, there shouldn’t be any problems,” said Diane.

“That shouldn’t be a problem for him.  I hope not.  Anyway, why couldn’t Ryoko find her own place to live?  She’s already eighteen and should at least have one, a job and two, an apartment,” complained Bunny.

“Well, to my sister, she thinks Ryoko should wait until she graduates from high school.  She married a Japanese man you know.  It’s basically what he wants Ryoko to do,” Diane told Bunny.

 

“At least her parents are still married.  How come you never gave dad another chance?” asked Bunny.

 

“Bunny, I don’t want to talk about your father.  As far as I’m concerned, he doesn’t exist.  It’s up to you if you still want to see him, I can’t stop you.  I know Jasmine already hates him.  But still, he betrayed our wedding vows.  He cheated on me with another woman.  I’ve forgiven him but there’s no chance of us getting back together,” said Diane as she began to stir the soup.

“So, why haven’t you found anyone else?” Bunny asked.

 

Diane gasped and accidentally knocked over a plate that was next to the stove.  It fell on the floor and broke.

“You okay mom?” asked Bunny as she walked over towards the broom closet and grabbed a broom and dustpan.

“I’m fine Bunny.  Could you watch the food while I go to the store to pick up some more things for the party tomorrow?” asked Diane

"You actually trust me to watch the food?" asked Bunny, sweeping up the broken plate.

"Well, I figured you could since you have nothing distracting you.  Of course you can ask Sakura or Jasmine to do it," replied Diane.

 

"Jasmine is in her room with Yugi," said Bunny.

"She is? When did Yugi come over?" asked Diane.

"Before I came in the kitchen.  For some odd reason, Sammy was outside around the trashcan.  Actually... that's not all that odd.  I saw Yugi walking up so I let him in," Bunny told Diane.

"Oh, well, make sure that everyone stays out of trouble.  Especially Sammy and Ryoko.  I'm going to the store.  I'll be back in a bit," said Diane as she left the kitchen.

 

"Sure mom," Bunny replied.

Meanwhile upstairs in Jasmine's room, her and Yugi were sitting on her bed talking.  Yugi was just telling her all about the spirit in the Millennium Puzzle.

"Wow Yugi, the spirit sounds pretty cool!  That was really nice of him to help you save your grandfather from that madman Pegasus.  I'm glad Mr. Moto is okay.  So, what else do you know about him?" asked Jasmine.

"Not much.  Yami doesn't really know much about his past.  But Pegasus seemed to because he really wanted my Millennium Puzzle.  He didn't say much of why though.  If I wanted to find out about the spirit’s past, I wouldn't know the first place to look," said Yugi.

"I want to help both of you Yugi," replied Jasmine.

 

"But Jasmine, you and the rest of the girls hafta figure out why Galaxia sent you all here.  I don't want to burden you with my problems," Yugi said.

"Yugi, it's no burden at all.  I know me and the other girls have to figure out why Galaxia sent us here but if you're having trouble with something, you can count on us to help you.  Besides, Vortex hasn't attacked anyone in awhile.  She's probably laying low even though I don't know why," Jasmine said.

 

"That maybe the case but still be careful and be prepared for anything she throws your way," Yugi said, worried.

"You're so cute when you're worried," said Jasmine as she wrapped her arms around his neck.

Yugi blushed slightly.  "I'm just worried about all of you, that's all," he replied.

"I know you are and we will figure out why Galaxia sent us here.  But now, I want to focus more on us.  After all, we have a lot to catch up on.” Jasmine leaned even closer to Yugi and kissed him.

 

Yugi was taken aback by the kiss but he caught it and kissed her hard, a searing kiss, open mouth, a kiss of tongues.  And as his tongue swept Jasmine’s mouth, she moaned softly.  The kiss made Jasmine think of Yugi’s body, on hers, in hers, and heat flooded her womb, sent blood to all the places already far too sensitive.

Yugi ran his hand up Jasmine’s thigh and up under the skirt she was wearing while also drawing trails of fire on her neck, making her feel wild with need.

“Oh Yugi,” Jasmine moaned.

“Maybe we should—

“Shh.  You know we can’t avoid this forever now can we, Yugi?” said Jasmine seductively.

“No, I guess we can’t.” Yugi smiled.

 

Then at that moment, Sammy walked in and saw Yugi about to unbutton Jasmine’s red blouse.

“NOOOOO!!!  The horror!!!!  MUHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!  Don’t forget to use a condom!!” Sammy laughed.

 

Yugi and Jasmine pulled away from each other, embarrassed.   “Get out of here Sammy!!” shouted Jasmine angrily.

“So um… Yugi… did you like… um… get a boner?” asked Sammy, still laughing.

“Get out of here before I kill you, Sammy!!!” Jasmine again, blushing.

 

Yugi turned crimson red.

“Too bad I don’t have a camera.  Oh yeah!!!  When you get that feeling, you want Sexual Healing!” Sammy singed, while dancing very gaily.

“Okay, that’s it!  You’re asking for it munchkin!” Jasmine started to get of her bed.

 

Sammy noticed this and started running downstairs screaming like a little girl.

“At… at least he’s gone,” Yugi said, finally.

“If you want to say that.  My brother is so damn annoying,” said Jasmine as she closed the door to her bedroom.

“I know.  Well, anyway, I have to go.  I promised my grandfather I wouldn’t stay too long.  He wanted me to help him get some things for the party tomorrow,” said Yugi as he got up from Jasmine bed.

 

“Oh okay.  I don’t mind.  Besides, my mom probably already left to go to the store herself.  But can I talk to you about something before you go?” asked Jasmine.

“Sure. What is it?”

“Uh… it’s… it’s about your friend Tea.  I don’t think she likes me at all.  She has yet to say one word to me,” Jasmine said.

“She’s probably still trying to get used to you.  I told her to try and get to know you and be friends with you.  I’ll talk to her when I see her.”  Yugi smiled to assure Jasmine that there was nothing to worry about.

 

“I’m sure that talking won’t do a thing,” replied Jasmine.

“What do you mean?”

 

“What I mean is that I don’t think Tea likes the idea of you and I dating each other.  I’ve picked up that vibe from her since the first day I met her.  I can’t explain it but my powers do get stronger the older I get and also the more I know about them.  That tiara your grandfather gave me six years ago seems to have given me the power to sense a person’s feelings.  It’s only very little since I don’t use it a lot,” explained Jasmine.

“Tea is really a nice person Jasmine.  Give her some time and she’ll get use to you.  Maybe your powers are sensing the fact that Tea doesn’t fully trust you yet.  But I will talk to her anyway.  By the way, what did you do with the tiara my grandfather gave you?” asked Yugi.

 

“I left it in Miami.  Ever since that accident, I haven’t touched again.  I’m sorry Yugi,” Jasmine said.

“It’s okay Jasmine.  I know you’re still worried that something might happen again if you touch it.  Luna assured you that nothing will happen though,” said Yugi.

“I know but I’m still being cautious and I don’t want to keep your grandfather waiting.  So, I’ll let you leave.”  Jasmine smiled.

“Well, okay.  I’ll see you tomorrow okay?  Bye now,” said Yugi as he left Jasmine’s room.

 

“Bye Yugi.”

 

(Jasmine’s POV)

I wish someone would believe me about Tea.  She’s not to be trusted.  I think there’s more to her than meets the eye.  Tea is definitely up to something because I can sense it.  I want to trust her but a part of me is telling me not to.  Every time I try to talk to her, she seems to ignore me and then turn around and give me a death glare anytime I’m around Yugi.

It doesn’t make sense.  If I didn’t know any better, I’d swear that she liked Yugi just as much as I do but won’t admit it.  And on top of that, she won’t talk to anyone else.  Especially my friends.  Oh well.  I got more important things to worry about.  Like Galaxia.  We still don’t know why she sent us here to Domino City, Japan.  It doesn’t add up.  It just doesn’t.

"Jasmine?  Are you okay?" Jasmine heard someone say.  She turned around and saw Luna, Bunny's guardian cat, sitting on her bed.

"Luna?  What are you doing in here?" she asked.

"I'm a cat and cats don't stay in one place too long now do they?  Now, you didn't answer my question, what's the matter?" Luna asked.

"Nothing's the matter.  Why do you ask?"

 

"You seem troubled.  You know, you and the rest of the girls and your little brother of course, start school next week.  I suggest that you prepare.  I already told Bunny but as usual, she never pays me any attention when it comes to school," said Luna, sighing.

"That’s nothing new.  Bunny hates school.  So, that doesn’t bother me much.  I used to it.  So, did you and Artemis find any clues as to why Galaxia sent us here?  I may have a clue but it’s lame, totally impossible, and it doesn’t really seem to fit Galaxia," Jasmine said.

 

"Not a thing.  She's really up to something but Artemis and I did find out what a star seed is and why she may want them," Luna said.

"Do tell Luna," replied Jasmine.

"Well according to our research, a star seed is a power source in the form of a crystal.  But only certain people have a star seed.  Not everyone has one.  A real one anyway," explained Luna.

"What do you mean by a real one?" Jasmine asked.

 

"A star seed that doesn't turn black.  That means that person doesn't have power in their star seed.  It's supposed to shine forever without turning black for it to be a one.  If Galaxia were to get her hands on a real one, there's no telling what she could do with it.  Power that strong can destroy the entire world," Luna explained, dramatically.

 

Jasmine gasped.  "So, maybe she wants these star seeds so she can revive the death of her daughter Catora.  But there's still one piece to this puzzle that just doesn't fit," Jasmine said.

"And what's that?" asked Luna.

"Who exactly has a real star seed?  These real ones must be within a special person.  But I wonder why.  What do you think Luna?"

"Right now... I don't know what to think.  But we do have good leads so far.  Our research didn't tell us who actually has a real star seed though.  I'm sorry," said Luna.

 

Jasmine sighed.  "It's okay Luna.  At least you and Artemis tried.  Now you just have to run this by everyone else.  Right now, I have to call Kaiba," said Jasmine as she reached for her cordless phone.

"Why do you have to call him?  I thought you hated him," Luna replied.

"I'm only calling to make sure he's taking good care of Chibi-Chibi.  You can't really expect me to trust Seto Kaiba now can you?"

 

"Not really.  That Chibi-Chibi is a strange little girl.  Have you figured out where she came from and why she thinks you and Kaiba are her parents?" Luna asked.

"Nope.  Turns out that she doesn't have a family.  He's looked everywhere and his high tech machines couldn't find anything," said Jasmine.

 

"Well, me and Artemis will do a search of our own for her.  We'll let you know if we find anything," Luna said as she jumped off Jasmine's bed and onto the floor.  "I have to get back to researching.  See you later Jasmine."  And with that, Luna left Jasmine's room.

“See ya Luna,” Jasmine said.

At the Domino Pet Shop, Mokuba, Chibi-Chibi, and Kaiba were searching for a pet that Jasmine and Bunny may want.  They figured Yugi just might want Duel Monster cards so they got him some.

“First things first, what pet do you think Bunny may want?” asked Mokuba.

“I don’t know Mokuba.  I don’t know her that well,” replied Kaiba, crossing his arms.

“So?  I don’t know her that well and I still want to buy her a gift.  Well, if you can’t think of something Bunny may want, can you at least think of something Jasmine may want?” Mokuba said, while looking around at all the different kinds of animals.

“A muzzle would be nice for her,” said Kaiba, sarcastically.

 

“You’re just saying that because she won’t listen to you big brother,” replied Mokuba as he petted one of the puppies that were in a nearby pen.

“Doggy!  Doggy!” shouted Chibi-Chibi happily, while jumping up and down.

“That’s not true Mokuba.  I just don’t like Jasmine is all,” Kaiba said, his arms still crossed.

“Uh-huh.  Sure Seto.  That’s what you say now.” Mokuba picked up one of the puppies out of the pen.  He then turned around to face his brother.” You’re telling me one thing but your actions say something else,” he replied.

 

“What are you trying to say Mokuba?  That I’m lying to you?” Kaiba asked.

“Yes.”

“And what makes you think that I’m lying to you about disliking Jasmine?”

“Oh, I don’t think you’re lying, I know you’re lying,” Mokuba replied.

 

“Very funny Mokuba.  Can we just drop this conversation and hurry up and get out of here?”

“Why are you trying to change the subject, Seto?” asked Mokuba.

“Because I don’t want to talk about Jasmine.  She’s the last thing on my mind,” Kaiba said.

“That’s not what you told Niles.” Mokuba put the puppy he was holding, back in the pen with the rest of the other dogs.

 

Kaiba turned very dark red.  “You… were ease dropping on our conversation?”

“No.  You tend to forget to close your door when you’re talking to Niles.  So basically, everyone in the mansion heard you shout out at the top of your lungs that you’re in love with Jasmine.  And I also heard that you didn’t want me to know about it.  Although the other stuff you said was T.M.I,” Mokuba explained.

“What’s T.M.I?” asked Kaiba.

“It means too much information.  Why didn’t you want me to know you were in love with Jasmine, Seto?”

 

“I just thought… that you were too young to understand,” Kaiba replied.

“Big brother, you’ve seem to forgotten that I used to have a girlfriend.  And I already knew that Jasmine was dating Yugi because she told me.  Even though you hate Yugi, you’re willing to accept the fact that he’s dating Jasmine and not come between them.  I agree with Niles.  That was a nice thing you said back there, Seto,” Mokuba smiled at his big brother.

“Then why do I still feel crummy?” he asked.

 

“Hey, come on Seto.  Give yourself some credit.  You can be nice when you want to be.  Why don’t you just be friends with Jasmine big brother?  It’s worth a try,” Mokuba suggested.

“No, it’s too risky.  I won’t do it,” said Kaiba.

“There’s no harm in being friends with her.  You can control yourself, can you?”

 

Kaiba arched his eyebrow and looked at Mokuba.  “What’s that supposed to mean?” he asked.

“It means you can control your feelings and hormones for Jasmine and be friends with her,” Mokuba said sarcastically.

“Very funny, Mokuba.  I told you no and that’s final,” said Kaiba, sternly.

“Okay, but I asked nicely.  I didn’t want to do this but it looks like I have no choice,” said Mokuba.

 

“And what’s that?”

“This.” Mokuba stuck his hand in his pocket and pulled out three duel monster cards.  “You see these?  If you don’t start acting like a man for once and do what you think is right, and that includes putting your hatred towards Yugi aside, I’ll rip these cards in half.”

“Oh please.  I can’t believe you’re doing this because I won’t be friends with Jasmine,” Kaiba replied.

 

“Actually… that’s not why I took them.  But if that’s what you want to think, then by all means, think that,” Mokuba said.

“I don’t care if you rip them in half.  It’s not like I don’t have plenty of extra copies.”

“You don’t have copies of these cards.  These are the only three made, you have them, and there’s no replacing them.” Mokuba turned the cards around to reveal all three of Kaiba’s Blue Eyes White Dragons.

“What are you doing with my Blue Eyes White Dragon cards!!??”

 

“I took them out of your room while I was getting Chibi-Chibi ready so we could go gift shopping.  I know you didn’t want to in the first place, so I went into your room and took these three cards out of your deck because I knew you’d give into anything if something happened to your favorite cards.  So, help me find a pet for Bunny and Jasmine, be nice to Yugi, try not to kill Joey at the party tomorrow and… I think that’s about it.  What’s it gonna be, Seto?”

“Mokuba, give me back my cards or I’ll ground you until you turn 18,” said Kaiba angrily.

“Whatever.  I guess I’ll have to rip these in—

“Fine!  I’ll help but you’re still grounded until further notice,” Kaiba replied.

 

“I’ll live,” said Mokuba.

“Bunnies!  Bunnies!” Chibi-Chibi said happily, clapping her hands.

“C’mon Chibi-Chibi, let’s go look at the baby bunnies,” said Mokuba as he took her hand.

“And what am I supposed to do?” Kaiba asked.

 

“I don’t know.  Check and see if they have any cat or kittens,” Mokuba told him.

 

“Whatever,” Kaiba muttered at he walked over to the section of the store where the cats and kittens were.  One of the workers, a woman, walked up and greeted him.

“Good afternoon Mr. Kaiba.  My name is Terry.  Would you like me to help you find a certain pet you’re looking for?” she asked, with an Australian accent in her voice.

“Do you have any kittens?” Kaiba asked.

“`Course we do.  Four of them left in fact.  What to hold one?” Terry asked.

 

“Not really, it’s a birthday present for a girl that I’m not very fond of,” Kaiba replied.

“Sounds like you’re quite fond of this girl, whoever she is,” Terry said.

“Excuse me?” Kaiba looked at Terry, slightly angry.

 

Terry put her hands over her mouth, but then removed them and giggled.  “Sorry, couldn’t help but overhear your conversation with your brother.  Anyway, what kind of kitten are you looking for?” she asked.

“It doesn’t really matter.  What kind do you have?” asked Kaiba.

“Well, we do have a gray and white domestic kitten we’ve been trying to get rid of because no one wants it,” said Terry.

“Why?  What’s wrong with it?” Kaiba asked.

 

“Nothing, except the fact that it bites and scratches people.  That’s the only thing though,” explained Terry.

           

“Hmm… How much is it?” asked Kaiba.

“Uh, I’d say… ‘bout fifty bucks.”

“Deal.” Kaiba took fifty dollars out of his wallet and handed it to the woman.

“Thanks a lot. Do you want it in a cage or without one?”

 

“How much will that cost me?”

“The cage is free, and if you come back anytime soon my name is Terry and I’d be happy to assist you.”

“Thanks, Terry. Hopefully, I won’t be coming back. I’ll take the cage since it’s free.” Kaiba said.

“Okay. Hold on. Gotta go to the back to get one.” Terry left to go to the back of the store to get a cage for the kitten. That’s when Mokuba and Chibi-Chibi walked up next to Kaiba.

 

“What animal did you pick big brother?” Mokuba asked.

“A domestic gray and white kitten,” replied Kaiba.

“Really, Seto? Wait… Is there something with it, the reason you bought that one and not one of the other ones?”

“Dada!” Chibi-Chibi motioned for Kaiba to pick her up.

 

“Pick her up Seto or she’ll start crying,” Mokuba said

“I’m no father Mokuba. You do it,” Kaiba said.

“Nope. She’s your responsibility with Jasmine. So pick her up,” said Mokuba.

“Fine.” Kaiba picked Chibi-Chibi up and she nestled in the corner of his arms, yawned, and closed her eyes.

 

“See Seto? How hard was it to pick her up?” asked Mokuba, sarcastically.

“Very funny,” replied Kaiba.

 

Terry came back with the cage and the kitten inside it.  “I’m back Mr. Kaiba.  As you requested, a cage and a domestic gray and white kitten,” she said, sitting it down by the register.

“Meow.”  The kitten purred against the cage.

 

“You asked… for a cage?  Seto… how could you be so mean?” asked Mokuba, crossing his arms in shame that Kaiba is his brother.

“What?  She said the cage was free,” replied Kaiba.

“So?  What’s wrong with this kitten, the reason you’re buying this one and not one of the other ones?” Mokuba asked.

“It bites and scratches people.  You better be careful with it,” replied Terry.

 

Mokuba sweat dropped.  “That’s why you bought this kitten Seto?” he asked.

“What ever gave you an idea like that Mokuba?” asked Kaiba, trying to look innocent.

 

“Oh, I don’t know.  Maybe it’s because you don’t like Jasmine and you just wanted to play another prank on her by buying her a pet with issues!  I didn’t even know you could be this immature big brother,” Mokuba said, angrily.

 

“I just picked out a kitten.  What more do you want from me Mokuba?!”

“Don’t worry about it Seto.  Just forget!”  Mokuba walked out of the store, angry at his brother.

“Mokuba!” shouted Kaiba.

 

Mokuba came back in the store, put his hand in his pocket, took out Kaiba’s Blue Eyes White Dragons, gave them to him, and walked back out the store.

Chibi-Chibi, on the other hand, was asleep while all this was going.

 

“At least you don’t have to go through this little one.  Not yet anyway,” Kaiba whispered to her.  Kaiba took the cage with the kitten inside and left the pet store.

On the planet Nexus, Galaxia was sitting in her chair, as usual, wondering where Vortex is.

 

“Vortex!  Where are you!?” she shouted angrily.  No answer.  Galaxia grew impatient.  “Wherever she is, she’d better find a star seed or she will pay dearly.  But I also sense… that I’m not the only one looking for something that relates to the twins and maybe Yugi Moto.  A dark presence.”

 

“Master Galaxia, please excuse us,” said a dark figure.  It was two of them, but only one of them spoke.

“What is it?” answered Galaxia.

“We were wondering when we’ll be able to find star seeds for you,” said the other dark figure.

“Soon.  If Vortex fails again, you’ll both have your chance.  But first, I’ll give the Senshi something they’ll never forget.”  Galaxia walked into the middle of the floor. 

 

“What are you going to do Master Galaxia?” asked the first dark figure.

 

“The twins and that annoying spikey haired do-gooder are having a birthday party tomorrow.  So… I’m going to give them a present… a blast from the past.  Just in case Vortex fails again, at least they’ll finish the job and get rid of them all… for good.”

“They who?” asked the second dark figure.

 

“You’ll see.”  A black whole appeared in front of Galaxia.  She raised her arms and began to say, “Spirits of the underworld, I summon thy witches to do my bidding!  Come forth Zaria of dawn and thunder, Aline of fire, and Milla of strength and ice!”

 

Three tall dark figures appeared of the black hole.  They came into view.  One had purple hair long hair, the second one had short dark blue curly hair, and the third one had mahogany wavy hair.  All three witches had evil looks on their faces.

“It’s nice to be free again,” Milla replied.

“So what do you wish for us to do Galaxia?” Aline asked.

“I’ll do anything as long as it involves killing,” said Zaria, flipping her hair.

 

“Silence or I will send all three of you back to the underworld!” Galaxia shouted.

All three witches quieted down immediately.

“Now, your task is to get rid of those pesky Sailor Senshi.  That includes, Bunny, Jasmine and Yugi,” said Galaxia.

 

The witches looked at each other.  “Those three?!  I thought Catora would’ve finished them off,” said Milla.

“Obvious not.  Looks like we’ve got a job ahead of us girls.  Let’s go,” said Aline as she turned around and walked away.

“Don’t worry Master Galaxia, we’ll get rid of them once and for all,” Zaria said as she followed Aline.

“I can’t wait to see the look on their faces once they see us,” replied Milla, following right behind them.

It’s finally Saturday!!  Happy Birthday Bunny, Jasmine, and Yugi!!!  Everyone is invited except some people but I not saying any names.

 

Bunny was still upstairs in her room frantically looking for something to wear.  “There has to be something in here that’s good enough to wear.”  Bunny has been through her whole closet basically.

 

Just then, there was a knock at her bedroom door.  “Who is it!?” shouted Bunny.

“It’s me, Rini meatball head,” she replied, coming into Bunny’s room.

“What do you want shorty?  I’m trying to find something to wear,” said Bunny, annoyed.

“No matter what you pick out to wear, you’re never going to impress Darien and you’re always going to look fat,” joked Rini.

 

“FAT!!??”

“You heard me.  Well, I’m going to join everyone else downstairs.  Bye now and good luck outfit hunting,” Rini said, laughing as she left Bunny’s room.

“I can’t wait until that little brat goes back to Crystal Tokyo,” muttered Bunny, to herself.

 

Meanwhile downstairs, Diane was setting up everything for the guests and for Bunny, Jasmine, and Yugi.  Yugi and his grandfather came by early to help out with some of it. 

Jasmine and her friends Carmen and Brittany were helping as well.  Sakura helped with the food, Ryoko did help with the music, and Sammy did jack squat.  He was sitting on the couch reading one of Bunny’s romance magazines.

“Whoa!  I thought people stopped giving hand jobs years ago!” exclaimed Sammy, flipping through pages.

Ryoko heard him and was disgusted.  “Eww!  Shut up you nasty six year old you,” she said as she grabbed a pillow off the sofa and hit him with it.

“I’m seven not six!!  And anyway, you’re just mad because you don’t have a guy to give you a hand job,” replied Sammy.

 

“I would never ask for a hand job and I’m sure any guy I go out with wouldn’t want to do that.  Besides, I have my eye on a very cute multi-billionaire,” Ryoko said, swooning.

“Seto Kaiba a.k.a Chinzilla a.k.a. Child Molester.  MUAHAHAHAH!!!!”  Sammy stared laughing retardily.

“He is none of those things you little troll,” said Ryoko, angrily.

 

“Too bad!!  Raye’s got her eye on him too so I guess you’re going to have to find another guy to swoon over you silicone slut!!  MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!  I AM KING OF THE BANANAS!!!!!  WHEEEE!!!!!” Sammy jumped off the couch and started running towards the kitchen.

 

“I do not have silicone in my boobs and I’m not a slut either!!!” shouted Ryoko at the top of her lungs.

 

Yugi, Jasmine, Sakura, Carmen, and Brittany were coming out of the kitchen when they heard Ryoko shout this.

“Girl, nobody don’t care that you don’t have silicone.  It just looks like you got silicone.”  Carmen laughed.

“Shut up you ghetto piece of trash!!”  Ryoko shouted angrily.

“Bitch, who you calling a piece of trash!!?  I’m gonna whoop yo’ ass!!”  Carmen shouted angrily as she began to take off her earrings and the rest of her jewelry.

 

“Hold up!!!  No fighting at our birthday party!!  Save it for later.  And Ryoko, keep your comments to yourself or Carmen is not going to be the only one that’s kicking your ass,” said Jasmine, with annoyance in her voice, while also hold Carmen back.

 

“Bring it on.  I can take you both on,” replied Ryoko, getting into fighting position.

“Girls!!  Girls!!  Calm down!  Can you all please settle your differences later?  This is really not the time,” said Yugi, standing in between all of them.

“Fine!  I don’t feel like shedding blood with nobody right now anyway,” replied Carmen, putting her jewelry back on.

“You sure?  Because it really looked like you was about to kick that girl’s ass man.  I’m telling ya’,” Brittany said, finally.

 

“Ryoko’s not worth it.  Let’s go hang out in my bedroom,” said Jasmine, walking upstairs.  Carmen and Brittany followed her.

“I try not to get in the middle of their arguments.  It always leads to someone getting hurt anyway,” replied Sakura, sweat dropping.

“Yeah well, if it’ll keep them from fighting, it’s good to start doing it,” Yugi said.

 

“Yugi, I don’t know what you see in Jasmine but she is not right for you.  Take my advice, find someone better.”  Ryoko flipped her hair, walked past Sakura and Yugi, and walked into the kitchen.

 

“Life’s a bitch ain’t it?” asked Sakura.

“Yeah.  I agree with you,” said Yugi.

 

Solomon and Diane came out the kitchen.  “We heard some arguing, is everything okay?” asked Solomon.

“Everything is fine grandpa.  Jasmine, Carmen, and Ryoko just got into it… again.”  Yugi sighed.

“Again?  They’ve been doing that all morning.  Let’s hope they don’t do this once everyone else arrives,” replied Diane.

“Let’s hope,” said Sakura, as she went upstairs.

 

The spirit began telepathically talking to Yugi.  “Yugi, when are you going to introduce me to Jasmine?  You said you would,” he replied.

“Soon.  Now’s not a good time,” Yugi said.

“I noticed.  Do they always argue like this?” asked the spirit.

“Yeah.  I’m use to it thought,” said Yugi.

 

“Oh?  I don’t seem how.  You seem annoyed by it,” the spirit said.

“Well, it’s just the fact that they’ve been doing it all morning.  As long as the keep their distance from each other, they don’t fuss or anything,” explained Yugi.

“Did you explain to Tea about your relationship with Jasmine yet?” the spirit asked.

 

“I told her but she didn’t seem too please.  She doesn’t trust Jasmine and Jasmine doesn’t trust her.  Tea hasn’t even talked to Jasmine yet.  I’m worried this my effect our friendship,” Yugi said, worriedly.

 

“Tea will understand.  After all, she is a pretty reasonable person.  Did you tell Joey and Tristan?”

“Yeah, I told them.  They already knew because my other friends told them.  This isn’t a problem.  At least they know, right?” asked Yugi.

“I guess so.  Do you think Jasmine and her friends are calmed down now?”

“They should be.  I’ll introduce them to you.  Since you want to meet them,” Yugi said.

 

“Yugi?  Are you okay?” asked Diane.

“Huh?  Oh, I’m fine.  I’m going to go talk to Jasmine and her friends,” replied Yugi as he ran upstairs.

 

“You don’t think Yugi acts strange sometimes or could be the puzzle around his neck?” Diane asked.

“If he stares into space a lot, yep, it’s the puzzle.  I’ll tell you all about it Diane,” replied Solomon.

“That’s not necessary Solomon.  I just wanted to know is all,” Diane replied.

 

“I WILL SUMMON MY BANANA ARMY TO DESTROY THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!  MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!  RISE MY MINIONS!!!! RISE!!!!!!!”  Sammy came running out of the kitchen with no clothes and with his underwear on top of his head.

 

“Samuel!!  Put your clothes back on right now!!  I will not have you doing this when everyone arrives!!” shouted Diane, angrily while chasing him.

“YOU NEVER CATCH ME!!!! NEVER!!!!”

 

(P: Why is she wasting her time?  She’ll never catch him.  G:  That is scary.  FP: That… is just downright wrong.  JT: He needs to put his clothes back on, point-blank.  P: What side of the family tree he came off of?  JT: I don’t know!)

INSIDE BUNNY’S ROOM:

 

“No, of course not Raye!!  I have nothing decent enough to wear!  What am I going to do?”  Bunny was on the phone with Raye, but Raye was babbling on and on about Kaiba. 

 

Raye: “You’ll find something to wear Bunny.  In the meantime, do you know if Kaiba’s coming to the party?”

 

Bunny: “Not that I know of.  He hates Jasmine so I doubt he’ll come.  He’ll drop his little brother and Chibi-Chibi.”

 

Raye: “That’s no fun.  I want to see Kaiba. I don’t like the idea that she calls Kaiba and Jasmine her parents.”

           

Bunny: “Well, Jasmine’s not interested in Seto Kaiba.  She’s dating Yugi remember?  And besides, you’re not the only one that interested in Kaiba.  Ryoko’s interested in him too.”

 

Raye: “WHAT!?  Ryoko!?  She is so not Kaiba’s type.  I know that.  No guy wants a girl that has breast implants.”

 

Bunny: “That was just a rumor that was spread around the school back in Miami.  It’s not true.  But you’ll have to take the Kaiba issue up with Ryoko.  I have to go.  I still need to pick out my outfit.”

 

Raye: “Okay, bye Bunny.  See you later.”

 

Bunny: “Bye Raye.”

 

Bunny hung up the phone and went back to looking for something to wear.  That’s when she came across her new dress that she had never worn.  Most of her stuff that was bought when she went to the mall was left there.  Thanks to Vortex.  At least she was able to take something back with her.

It was really bad when the reporters caught an eye of them.  Now they’ll be looking for mysterious girls in skirts going around saving people.  There was nothing about it on the news so far. 

The girls just thought that maybe they forgot about it.  But that doesn’t sound like reporters.  Once they find a story, they stick with it until they have the full facts.  The Sailor Senshi will now have to be careful about where they fight next time.  A mall is not a good place.  Especially not, out in the open where people can see you.

 

“At least nothing will ruin this good day,” Bunny said to herself.
