P: Back again with chapter 14.
FP: Yep.
G: Yep.
JT: Mm-hmm.
P: Can we kill off some random person for fun?
JT: No.
FP: Why not? I wanna kill Kaiba.
G: You never found him remember?
FP: Oh yeah.
P: Same as usual. Read and enjoy.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was a very early Monday morning, like around four thirty. Diane got up in the middle of the night because she couldn’t sleep. So she decided to go into the kitchen and make herself some tea.
(Diane’s POV)
I have to be really careful and
make sure that Bunny and Jasmine don’t regain their memories about knowing Seto
and Mokuba. It would really be
devastating for them to find out that I had another child with Gozaburo Kaiba
and hid it from them for six years.
They’ll never forgive me. Or at
least I know that Jasmine won’t forgive me.
She already hates her own father.
I don’t want her to hate me.
Oh Gozaburo… I regret the day that I turned down your marriage proposal. Maybe my family would’ve had a better life and I wouldn’t have had to hide the fact that we had a child. Our little girl… Ruka… how I’ve be searching for you. I really wish I knew where you were. I’d give anything to have you here with me. I miss you so much.
(End POV)
The water that Diane had boiled for her tea was finished. She poured the hot water into a cup, put a tea bag in the cup, and sat down at the table to drink it. She thought she was alone when she heard a sound coming from upstairs.
“You know you should be sleep. You have school today,” replied Diane.
Jasmine came from downstairs and into the kitchen. “I couldn’t sleep knowing that I had to go to school again when I had just gotten out of school,” she said.
“I see. What time does this school start anyway?” Diane asked.
“Seven I think. I’ll have to call Yugi and ask him for the exact time,” Jasmine said.
“Well, you know that this school will be different from your old school in America. You’ll have to wear the school uniform and you also go to school on the weekends except for Sundays,” explained Diane.
“Ugh! That interferes with my weekend plans,” complained Jasmine.
“Well, here they have three semesters of school. They don’t have two like you did in Miami,” Diane said.
“I know. But I think I’ll survive. Why are you up so late anyway mom?” Jasmine asked.
“I… I couldn’t sleep. Just random thoughts in my head kept bugging me,” said Diane.
“Random thoughts? Like what?”
“Well… how would you feel if I’d gotten remarried to another man after your father?” asked Diane.
“I’d think you were crazy. You’d really actually want to go through the heartache again that you went through with dad?” asked Jasmine.
“Well, no but what if the man I met was really sweet? What would you say then?”
“I don’t know. I’d have to really see the sweetness in him before I start calling him dad. Mom… you’re not dating anybody… are you?” asked Jasmine suspiciously.
“Huh? Oh no, of course not. I just wanted to know your honest opinion. Anyway, enough about me tell me how you like Yugi’s friends,” Diane said.
“Well, they’re okay. Except for that Tea Gardner girl. I don’t know what is it about her but I just have this weird feeling in my gut telling me not to trust her. I’m not jealous of her or anything, because I’ve had enough people telling me that, but it’s just how that when Yugi tells me that he’s talked to her and convinced her to get to know me, she doesn’t do it. She totally goes against him and start complaining about bullshit that makes no sense at all to be complaining about,” Jasmine explained as she sat down at the table across from her mother.
“I know you’re my daughter and all but you know how I feel about you swearing when I’m around,” replied Diane.
“I’m sorry mom. But that’s how I feel. Do you think I sound jealous?” Jasmine asked.
“Well, Jasmine, it’s really how you feel. If there’s something telling you not to trust Tea then maybe you should go with that feeling. Just don’t show it when she’s around. Now, since you’re up, why don’t you go ahead and start getting ready for school. It wouldn’t hurt to be ready a little early,” Diane, said.
“Okay,” Jasmine said as she got up from the table and went upstairs.
(Diane’s POV)
If only I could tell you and your brothers and sisters about Gozaburo and our child. Maybe… just maybe you’ll understand why I had to keep it a secret for so long. But as long as I keep it hidden, I’ll have to keep you and Seto apart from each other.
(End POV)
LATER ON IN THE
MORNING:
Bunny’s alarm clock went off at six o’clock. Instead of getting up and turning it off, she threw one of her pillows at it, causing it to fall off her dresser, onto the floor, and turning off like that. She, on the other hand, went back to sleep. Just then, there was a knock at her door.
“Bunny, it’s time to get up,” Jasmine said as she opened the door to Bunny’s bedroom.
“G-give me five more minutes,” mumbled Bunny.
“I gave you five minutes an hour ago. Get your lazy behind up and get ready for school,” ordered Jasmine.
“WHAT!? School!? Aw, man! I’m going to be late!!” exclaimed Bunny as she frantically got out of bed and ran into the connected bathroom that she and Jasmine share that only has a sink and a toilet.
“Bunny, chill, it’s only 6:05. We’re not late. I called Yugi and he told me that school starts at seven thirty. You’ve got plenty of time. But just because we’re going to school here, doesn’t mean I’m going to be waking you up all the time to get ready for school when you oversleep,” said Jasmine as she left.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Downstairs, Diane was fixing breakfast for everyone before she took them all to school. She fixed eggs, bacon, sausages, biscuits, and grits. Ryoko, Rini, Sakura, and Sammy were already downstairs eating when Jasmine came into the kitchen.
“Mmm, nothing like good old breakfast to start off the day,” Sammy replied.
“Now remember Samuel, this is not like your old elementary school where you can talk any way you want to. Act normal today okay? No sex talk around anybody,” Diane ordered.
“Mem! You called me Samuel again,” Sammy complained.
“What difference does it make? It’s still your name,” Jasmine replied.
“So? I happen to like Sammy better than the name Samuel,” replied Sammy.
“You’re such a retard Sammy. I’m ashamed to be related to you and going to the same school with you,” Rini said.
“Just don’t worry about it. He’ll be too busy hanging around Melanie to notice you making friends Rini,” Ryoko replied.
“I thought you said come school, you don’t know any of us? Well, right now, I don’t know you,” said Rini sarcastically.
“Course you do. She’s jugger knots remember? MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!”
“Don’t do that at school or you’ll scare your classmates,” Jasmine said as she sat down at the table.
“Where’s Bunny? I thought you woke her up,” said Diane.
“I did an hour ago. But she went back to sleep. Then I had to reset her alarm so she wouldn’t be late getting up but she still didn’t get up. She’s getting ready right now as we speak,” explained Jasmine.
“Meatball head is always late. And on top of that always eating sugary junk food,” joked Rini.
Sakura snickered. “You’re so wrong Rini but so true,” she said.
“I know that. But I can’t help it if Bunny is going to be my future mom. You know we always argue and fight,” Rini said.
“Don’t start that at the table please. I don’t need to break up any fights this morning,” replied Diane as she put Bunny’s plate in the microwave.
“Someone needs to tell hooker tits over here to get a breast reduction before that pop from being poked,” said Sammy sarcastically.
“Shut up Sammy! There is nothing wrong with my chest for god sakes. You’re acting as if I’m the only girl on the face of the earth with big breast,” Ryoko said.
“No, you’re just the only relative we’ve had in the family that we can’t stand with bigger breast,” joked Sammy.
Everyone at the table started laughing.
“Calm down everyone. Now eat up because at six thirty, I’m taking everyone to school,” Diane said.
AT THE GARDNER
FAMILY HOUSE:
“It’s nice to be ready to go to school without having a splitting headache from recent events,” Tea said, modeling in front of the mirror that was in the living room.
“You look the same every day. So stop modeling in front of the mirror before you crack it,” Chloe said sarcastically as she picked up her backpack off the floor next to the sofa.
“I’m tired of your smart remarks about how I look Chloe. I’m sick of it!” yelled Tea angrily.
“Oh what are you going to do about it? You know already I can’t stand you or Aunt Reva so why complain?” asked Chloe.
“I’m complaining because I’m sick of you interfering with me wanting to be with Yugi and getting Jasmine away from him,” said Tea.
“Why don’t you admit that you’re jealous that Yugi has a girlfriend who happens to be cooler, nicer, and better looking than you,” said Chloe.
“I’m not jealous. I don’t trust Jasmine. She seems like the type of girl to dump a guy in less than a minute. I’m just trying to protect Yugi,” Tea said.
“You’re totally going against what Yugi told you to do. Get to know Jasmine before you judge her,” Chloe reminded her.
“Oh hush Chloe. You don’t have the slightest idea as to what you’re talking about. You’re just mad because you haven’t found love yet,” Reva replied as she came out of the kitchen.
“Like I’m really going to listen to you,” Chloe gave Reva a death glare.
“Unless you want to be grounded, you will listen to me,” Reva said.
“What the fuck ever,” said Chloe, rolling her eyes.
“Now…is this Jasmine girl and all her little friends going to Domino High also?” asked Reva.
“Yes, and she’s probably in most of Yugi’s classes. There’s no way Yugi will notice me,” Tea whined.
“Get help from Jessica. I told you to start hanging around her because she’s great with coming up with schemes and ideas. Kinda like me,” bragged Reva.
“If I hang around Jessica, Yugi will hate me for sure. He doesn’t care that much for Jessica. I don’t want to make him upset or anything,” replied Tea.
“Okay, how about hang around her when you need to and get her to help you get Yugi’s eyes off of Jasmine and onto you,” advised Reva.
“I think that’ll work,” said Tea.
“My god, you both are so damn pathetic. Yugi loves Jasmine, not Tea. He’s known Jasmine longer than Tea and they know everything about each other. Do I need to add more for both of you to get a fucking clue?” Chloe asked sarcastically.
“You just hush Chloe. You don’t even know what you’re talking about. Just because that little slut is dating him now doesn’t mean she’ll be dating him forever,” Reva said.
“Actually I do know what I’m talking about. You see, unlike you two, I’ve actually talked to Jasmine to get to know her a little bit,” said Chloe.
“Whatever. She still dresses revealing like Tea said she does. We don’t want Yugi to go through the pain of being heart broken,” replied Reva.
“That is complete bullshit. Why don’t you admit that you’re jealous of Jasmine, Tea? It’ll make you feel a whole lot better,” Chloe said sarcastically.
“I’m not jealous. I look way better than Jasmine. I’m the one for Yugi and I’m going to make sure he gets that memo,” replied Tea.
“That’s my girl! Now, if you need any help to get Yugi to notice you at school instead of Jasmine, just ask Jessica for help. But make sure Yugi doesn’t find out,” Reva said.
“Don’t worry. He won’t find out,” Tea said.
“Oh he will find out. Sooner or later, he’ll find out,” Chloe said.
“Shut up Chloe! I’m sick of your damn mouth! Give your advice to someone who actually cares!” shouted Tea angrily, now facing Chloe.
“Who says I’m giving you advice if you’re not actually going to take it, damn it!?” Chloe shouted back.
“Stop this at once. Look, don’t let Chloe get you upset okay? Not at a time like this. Chloe go get Kristina and get in the car. Tea’s taking you to school,” Reva said.
“Fine,” Chloe replied as she left the living room to go get Kristin.
Tea grabbed her backpack off the floor next to the mirror she was posing in front of. “I’ll be in the car,” she said as she went outside.
(Reva’s POV)
This nonsense is going to tear
my little girl away from me. Diane,
you’re going to pay for ruining my life six years ago. If I have to turn your family against you to
make sure my daughter gets what she wants, then I’ll do it. I will not let your daughter destroy my
daughter’s chance at happiness with the man she’s in love with.
I warned you not to come back. Now, you’ll suffer the consequences. I don’t have to expose your little secret. It’ll expose itself sooner or later. It’s just a matter of time and patience. And what better way to get back at you than to take what your daughter has from her so my daughter can have it? You’ll pay Diane Tsukino. Oh, you’ll pay big time.
(End POV)
DOMINO
ELEMENTARY:
“Now, I want you both to behave at school today and not get into any trouble. That means you Samuel,” Diane replied.
“Why me? I never get in trouble. When have I ever got into trouble?” asked Sammy.
“You don’t want any one of us to answer that question, Sammy,” Jasmine said as she stuck her head out the window.
“Yeah, uh-huh, right. Anyway, why do we have to wear these stupid uniforms? They’re so uber gay man,” said Sammy.
“I happen to like the uniforms,” Rini replied.
“You’re a girl. Of course you’re going to like the uniforms,” Sammy said.
“Behave. Call if you have any problems. I’ll pick you all up later.” Diane drove off but waved good-bye to Sammy and Rini before she left.
“Great. I’m stuck with you until the bell rings.” Rini sighed.
“So. I’m about to go look and see if Melanie is here yet. Which way’s the cafeteria?” Sammy asked.
“Find it yourself. I’m going to find my classes,” Rini said walking off.
“Fine! I don’t need you anyway. You, person you!” yelled Sammy retardily.
DOMINO JR.
HIGH:
“Okay. This is where I get off,” said Sakura, taking a deep breath.
“It’s okay. Just think of it as your first day of school back in Miami,” Bunny suggested.
“It’s not the same. See, I knew people in Miami. I don’t know very many people in Japan but Yugi’s friends, Mokuba, and Maura,” Sakura said.
“She has a point you know. But you’ll make some new friends, Sakura. I’m sure Mokuba will help you. And you’ll probably see Hotaru as well,” Jasmine said.
“That’s if she’s going today. She said she might not,” said Sakura.
“She has no other choice but to go. Her mother won’t let her stay in her dorm room by herself,” Diane said.
“Okay. I’m going,” replied Sakura as she slowly got out of the van.
“It’ll be okay. I’ll have my cell phone with me today. I have to go to work,” said Diane.
“When did you get a job, Aunt Diane?” asked Ryoko.
“My boss kinda decided to transfer me to another company that does the same work they do but I’ll be going back and forth to America once in awhile when they need me. And don’t worry, they’re paying for my trips back and forth,” explained Diane.
“That’s great mom. At least your job isn’t worried about you being in Japan,” Bunny said.
“Well, it’s a good thing. Now, you behave at school, and you know to call me if anything happens and you need me to come and get you.”
“I know, I know. I’ll be okay. I’ll just find Mokuba and hopefully I won’t have to worry about being an outcast at the school,” Sakura said.
Diane smiled. “Bye sweetheart,” she said as she drove off and Bunny and Jasmine waved good-bye to her. Sakura waved back and then entered the school.
DOMINO HIGH:
“Alright, I shouldn’t have to tell you girls the same thing I told the others. You know the drill. You’re supposed to at least set an example for them,” Diane said.
“We know mom. We’ll be fine. Besides, we have rides home so you don’t have to worry about picking us up. Ryoko is going to ride with me and Darien and Jasmine is getting a ride home from Yugi,” Bunny said.
“Or I could get a ride from—
“Don’t even think about it,” said Jasmine, cutting her off in mid-sentence.
“Behave Ryoko. I don’t want to have to call your mother and tell her how you’re acting. I’m responsible for you since you’re not with my sister and her husband,” explained Diane.
“I know Aunt Diane. I understand. I’ll behave. You should tell that to Jasmine though,” Ryoko said.
“What for? I know to behave unlike you,” replied Jasmine.
“She probably means that because you torture Kaiba a lot. Leave the poor guy alone, Jasmine. It’s enough when you torture him outside of school. You don’t need to torture him inside school. Leave him alone. I mean it,” said Diane with a stern look on her face.
“Fine. I had so many things planned to torture him with today. Oh well, guess I’ll have to use them on Ryoko,” said Jasmine sarcastically.
“Hey!” yelled Ryoko, crossing her arms.
“We’ll behave mom. Don’t worry,” Bunny said.
“I hope so. Bye girls.” Diane drove off and was on her way to work.
“Hopefully we’ll see everyone else at school too. At least today won’t be totally boring,” replied Bunny.
“I’m making friends with people in my grade and age range. You two can mingle with the lower class if you want. See you all after school,” Ryoko said as she started walking towards the entrance of the school.
“It sometimes makes me wonder how we’re related to her,” Bunny said.
“It’ll just be an answer we’ll never know,” Jasmine said.
Both Jasmine and Bunny walked towards the school entrance opened the doors and went inside.
STARTING AT
DOMINO ELEMENTARY:
Sammy eventually found the cafeteria where all the students are at before the bell rings. A lot of the kids were sitting down on the floor, separated by grade level and others were getting breakfast and sitting at the lunch tables. It was very loud inside but as soon as Sammy walked in, all went silent and everyone turned towards his direction and just stared at him like he had three heads and eight arms.
“Well, this is a very fine ‘how do you do’,” Sammy said to himself.
A tall slender woman with short red-orange hair, possibly around the age of twenty-four, walked up to Sammy and smiled.
“Hello. Welcome to Domino Elementary, little one. I can tell that you’re not from around here and need a little bit of help. I’m Mrs. Agasa,” she said.
“Uh-huh. How’d you know I was new?” asked Sammy.
Mrs. Agasa chuckled. “Well, for one thing, you don’t look Japanese. However there are classes here that can get you talking fluently like us in no time. Now, what grade are you in sweetheart?” she asked.
“First grade,” Sammy replied.
“You look a little young to be in first grade already. How old are you?” asked Mrs. Agasa.
“I’m six going on seven,” he said.
“Six and in the first grade? You should at least be in kindergarten,” said Mrs. Agasa.
“Yea well, school gets out early in America and plus, I already took kindergarten,” Sammy said.
“I see. Well, you sit with the kindergarten and first graders on the right side right here.” Mrs. Agasa pointed to the separated children. Three tables separated six grades to make sure they stay out of trouble and behave. The first table was kindergarten and first grade, the second table was second and third grade, and the third table was fourth and fifth grade.
“Why is everyone separated by grade?” asked Sammy.
“Because it keeps the older students from picking fights with the little ones. This school hasn’t had a fight in three years,” Mrs. Agasa said.
“Oh,” was Sammy’s response.
“Now, where’s your schedule?” she asked.
“Uh, here,” replied Sammy as he took his schedule out of his pocket and handing it to Mrs. Agasa.
She took it and glanced at it. You have Japanese 1 first with Mr. Haruki. He’s a really nice teacher. You’ll love him,” Mrs. Agasa replied.
“Now I have a question, what do you do?” asked Sammy.
“I’m a fifth grade teacher,” she said.
“You’ll probably be teaching my mean cousin Rini,” Sammy said, crossing his arms.
“You have a cousin here too?”
“And a friend. Two in fact,” replied Sammy.
“I’ll see if she’s on my roll when I go to class. The bell is about to ring. Why don’t I take to your first class so you won’t have to search around the whole school for it and get lost?” Mrs. Agasa offered.
“I guess.” Sammy just sighed because he knew he had a long day ahead of him.
(P: He’s actually acting normal and telling the truth about his age for once. FP: Yeah I know. I was expecting him to lie and be smart with Mrs. Agasa. AG: I didn’t even know Sammy could be normal. This is something I’ll have to get used to. JT: Don’t. It’s only an act. He’ll be back to his usual self.)
NEXT, DOMINO
JR. HIGH:
Sakura had been walking around Domino Jr. High for the past twenty minutes after the bell had ringed for everyone to go to his or her classes. But she still hadn’t found her own. The school was huge and her classes could be anywhere.
(Sakura’s POV)
Where is room A-13? I’ve probably been down most of these halls and I’ve yet to find it. Well, at least I located where the restrooms are. And the lunchroom… guidance office… auditorium… gym… Great, its official, I’m lost.
(End POV)
Sakura found the nearest bathroom and went in. Inside, there was a group of four girls, possibly eighth graders like Sakura, surrounding a girl that was wearing glasses and had long blue wavy hair. She looked like a seventh grader. The four girls turned around to see who entered the bathroom and they saw Sakura.
“What are you doing in here, you loser? Don’t you know that the loser bathroom is on the other side of the school?” spoke a girl with short black hair.
“Yeah, this bathroom is for popular girls only,” said another girl with red straight hair.
“Then if that’s the case, then why is she here?” Sakura pointed to the girl with glasses. “Hanging out with girls that wear glasses doesn’t seem like your thing.”
“We’ve got ourselves a smart mouth, Naomi-chan. It’s obvious that this girl is new to our school and don’t know the rules,” spoke a girl with dark green hair that was half long and half short.
“Don’t worry Mika. I know how to handle smart mouth girls,” Naomi replied.
“Well, I’m no ordinary smart mouth girl. You may act tough but you four don’t scare me. Whatever you’re doing to that girl, you need to drop it, leave her alone, and get on with your pathetic lives already,” Sakura said.
“Pathetic? She didn’t just call our lives ‘pathetic’ without knowing where we come from?” replied the fourth girl, with blonde hair, which was up in a ponytail.
“You’re from America aren’t you? It’s so obvious,” laughed Naomi.
“So what if I am? Why does it concern you so much?” asked Sakura.
“Because most people from America are stuck up,” Mika said.
“I agree. Kohana here has a relative that lives in America. She can’t stand her,” Naomi replied.
“True but Akina has been doing the research and found out that most Americans are crooks anyway,” Kohana replied.
“That’s so stereotypical. Not all of us are like that,” Sakura said.
“Whatever,” Akina said as she flipped her hair.
“Come on girls. We can settle this later. We’ll be seeing you later, Mamiko,” Naomi said as she left the bathroom. The other three girls followed her as well.
“Thank you,” replied Mamiko softly.
“You’re welcome. Why were those girls surrounding you like that?” asked Sakura.
“Because I didn’t do their homework right, I guess. They’re my friends and I do things for them.” Mamiko smiled innocently.
“You do their homework? That’s their job to do their own homework. They’re not your friends, Mamiko. They’re only using you. I’m not trying to be harsh or anything. Oh, where are my manners. I’m Sakura Moto and I’m in eighth grade.”
Mamiko giggled. “Mamiko Mackenzie. I’m in seventh grade. Since I’m the smartest in my class, I have to tutor four eighth grade girls that need to bring their grades up in order to pass to the ninth grade.”
“I see. So instead of them letting you tutor them, they just tell you to do their homework and class work?” Sakura asked.
“Basically. I don’t have any real friends and since these girls are on the scale of the popular crowd, I thought I could hang out with them and make some friends,” Mamiko explained.
“Don’t worry about doing that. Tell you what, I’ll be your first official friend and if I’m lucky, I’ll find two of my friends here and I can introduce them to you. How’s that’s sound?” Sakura held out her hand for Mamiko to shake it.
“It sounds great. Thank you Sakura,” Mamiko said as she shook Sakura’s hand.
“You’re welcome. Now, do you think you can help me find my classes? Being new does have its downfalls,” joked Sakura.
Mamiko smiled. “Of course I can help you find your classes. It’s the least I can do since you got those girls off my back. What class do you have first?”
“Well, I have to go to room A-13 for Earth Space Science with Mr. Ozaki right now,” Sakura said.
“I know where that is! Science is my favorite subject. Come on,” Mamiko replied as she pulled Sakura by the arm and left the bathroom with Sakura trailing behind her.
FINALLY, DOMINO
HIGH:
Bunny had found her first period class, which was Reading Intensive. So Ryoko and Jasmine have still been looking for their classes.
“This is a complete disaster. How am I supposed to meet seniors that appreciate my standards if I can’t find my class?” Ryoko said dramatically.
“Get a hold of yourself already. It’s only the first day of school and you’re already freaking out. My first class is Drawing I with Mr. Onnoshi. You don’t see me about to have a panic attack,” said Jasmine sarcastically.
“You mean that right there,” said Ryoko pointing straight ahead of them towards a door with a sign on it that said ‘Drawing I with Mr. Onnoshi’.
“Oh. Thanks. See ya,” said Jasmine running to get to her class.
“What about me? How am I supposed to find my class?” asked Ryoko.
“Just point straight ahead,” Jasmine joked as she went into Mr. Onnoshi’s classroom.
As soon as Jasmine walked into the classroom, Mr. Onnoshi stopped teaching his lesson and everyone in the class just stared at her.
“Hello. I’m Mr. Onnoshi,” he picked his role book up off the desk, “You must be… Jasmine Tsukino,” he said.
“Yes, I am,” replied Jasmine.
Scattered laughter floated around the room.
“Ah, I see. Class, this is our new student, Jasmine Tsukino. She’s from Miami, Florida and will be joining us for the school year. Now, why don’t you sit at table three with Kiyoshi, Tori, Tomo, and Kaiba,” said Mr. Onnoshi as he pointed to the table that was in the middle.
Kaiba jumps up and slams his hand on the table. “You can’t be serious!”
“Mr. Kaiba settled down. You maybe a CEO outside of school but inside school you’re the student and I’m the teacher. So sit down and shut up,” Mr. Onnoshi said.
Kaiba blushed a bright cherry red and sat down. Jasmine snickered slightly so the teacher wouldn’t hear her. As for sitting at the table, she walked towards the table and as she was walking, the guys in the classroom, except Kaiba, started doing catcalls. As Jasmine made it to the table, she sat down next to Tori so she wouldn’t have to kill and/or stab Kaiba.
(Jasmine’s POV)
(End POV)
MS. YOSHIFUMI’S
CHEMISTRY CLASS:
“Class, we have a new student that I’d like to introduce to the class. Her name is Ryoko Kajimoto. She’s from America and will be joining our class,” Ms. Yoshifumi said.
(Ryoko’s POV)
Oh, yeah. Great, that’ll help me make great friends. Not. I’m an outsider to these people. I’ll never make any friends. A part of me wishes Seto Kaiba were here. I could sit next to him and I wouldn’t be so scared.
(End POV)
“Ryoko, you’re sitting behind Sharon Fujita. Please raise your hand so Ryoko can see you Sharon,” said Ms. Yoshifumi.
Sharon was half way in the back when she raised her hand. She had dark brown hair and it was in pigtails. She was chewing gum silently but popped it for the whole class to hear her.
“Sharon spit your gum out please,” Ms. Yoshifumi replied.
Sharon got up out of her seat, went to the trashcan, spit out her gum, and went back to her seat and sat down. Ryoko walked down the aisle way of the desks until she got to where she was supposed to sit and sat down.
(FP: Where should we go next? G: I don’t rightly know. What do you think JT? JT: I have no clue either. P? P: Well, we could go see what Galaxia is up to, and then go see what the quiet ones are up to and leave the loud ones alone for awhile. JT, FP, and G: O.o)
PLANET NEXUS:
The witches were at Planet Nexus with Galaxia. Unfortunately, Galaxia hadn’t said anything to them. She was highly upset that they had failed.
“I wonder what Galaxia’s going to do to us,” Aline wondered.
“Don’t know. But she can’t send us back to the underworld yet. She doesn’t have enough power to do so,” Zaria said.
“But she said she would. If she doesn’t have enough power, how is she going to send us back?” asked Milla.
“Don’t worry about that. She won’t get the power she wants. That power is meant to be ours,” said Zaria.
“You’re so right, Zaria,” Aline said.
Just then, Galaxia came into the room where the witches were and sat down in her chair.
“Master Galaxia, we’re sorry that we failed you but we’ll come up with an even greater plan to take down the Sailor Senshi,” Zaria replied, bowing.
“Be silent, Zaria! You still failed to get rid of the Sailor Senshi and that is unacceptable. Whatever plan you come up with next time better be foolproof because my patience is growing thin,” Galaxia said.
“But we didn’t know that Jasmine had so much power. We would’ve gotten rid of them all if it hadn’t been for her,” Milla explained.
“She doesn’t have a lot of power. She’s hated us for so long that all of that rage only made her powers evolve for a short amount of time. All of the Sailor Senshi’s powers will evolve, in fact. But even so, they won’t defeat us again,” Zaria said, while crossing her arms.
“Enough! Your job was to destroy the Sailor Senshi! But no matter… Sailor Tree Leaf and Sailor Spider will take over for a while. Hopefully, they’ll do a way better job than you witches did. So you three are off the hook… for now…”
Zaria, Milla, and Aline bowed before they left. That’s when Sailor Tree Leaf and Sailor Spider appeared.
“Tree Leaf… Spider, you know what your job is. Find me the star seeds I need to have ultimate power. The witches will help you once in awhile with information they find that they think you may need. Just don’t fail me,” Galaxia said.
“Yes, Master Galaxia,” they both said.
Sailor Tree Leaf and Spider bowed before Galaxia before taking their leave to do their job.
DOMINO NEWS
STATION CHANNEL 6:
Cindy, Bob, and Jeffery were in their boss’s office showing him the tape from the recent even of the “magical girls”. He had just finished watching out of the tape.
“Well, what do you think, Mr. Yoshifumi? I’ve done extensive research to prove that we’re not wrong. You have to believe that this tape is real. We’re not making this up,” Cindy said.
Mr. Yoshifumi turned off his TV and ejected the tape out of the VCR.
“Well, sir? What do you think?” Bob asked.
“Well,” Mr. Yoshifumi began, “I don’t know what to think. This is the second time you three have come to me with this story. As your boss, I have the right to choose what footage I want shown on the news. And I’ve already said no to this footage—
“Please reconsider sir. We saw all of this with our own two eyes. This isn’t a joke,” replied Jeffery, angry.
“Let me finish, Jeffery. Now as I was saying, I’ve turned down this footage before but… seeing as how you three did your research and on top of that, was able to get them on tape for the second time is enough to convince me that this is true. So I’m going to let you three continue this project under the circumstances that you can keep up the project on weekly basis and that you find out at least one of their identities,” said Mr. Yoshifumi.
“Of course sir. We’ll stop at nothing to find out who they are,” replied Cindy.
“Okay, now get out of my office and go do your jobs,” Mr. Yoshifumi ordered.
“Yes sir,” all three of them said.
Cindy, Bob, and Jeffery left Mr. Yoshifumi’s office. As they closed the door, they jumped for joy.
“Yes! We can continue our project!” Cindy said excitedly.
“You can what!? You can’t be serious!? Mr. Yoshifumi turned down your story already! What made him change his mind to let you three continue this bull-crap?” Heather asked.
“Simple. If we can keep this up and find out as least one of their identities,” Jeffery responded.
“You can’t possible make me believe that you’ll be able to find out the identities of these so called ‘magical girls’,” Heather said.
“They’re not called magical girls, Heather. They call themselves Sailor Senshi. See? It takes a lot of brains to find out that kind of information,” Bob replied sarcastically.
“Where does that put you, Bob?” Heather sarcastically responded back.
“What do you mean by that, Heather?” asked Bob.
“You said it yourself that it takes a lot of brains to find out that kind of information. It doesn’t look like you did any research at all.” Heather crossed her arms and smirked.
“Why don’t you go to hell? If we wanted your smart remarks we would’ve asked you for them,” replied Cindy.
“Nice to hear that you’re fighting back for once, Price. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a real story to work on,” Heather said as she walked pass Cindy, Bob, and Jeffery to get to her desk.
“People like her give reporters a bad name,” Jeffery replied.
“I know what you mean,” Bob commented.
“Well, guys, it’s time to get started,” Cindy said excitedly.
“Right, Cindy,” both of them said.
RINI’S FIRST CLASS:
“Now class, take out your math books and turn to page 210. We will be working on multiplication this week. You all should already know the basics of multiplication, now we’re going to be working on multiplying with two numbers. In your books, do numbers one through twenty. This is due today but it is not for a grade. It’s just showing me what you need to work on in this section. I’ll put up a few problems on the board and I’ll randomly pick some of you to solve them. You can solve them up on the board or at your seat. It doesn’t really matter. But after this, you’re all on your own,” explained Mrs. Kyoko as she picked up a piece of chalk and began writing some multiplication problems on the board.
One of the students, a boy, raised his hand as Mrs. Kyoko was writing the problems on the board. “Can I do the first problem, Mrs. Kyoko?” he asked.
“Sure Brian. Go ahead and solve 52x20,” Mrs. Kyoko replied.
“1040,” Brian said.
“Very good, Brian. That is correct. Would anyone else like to try the second problem? Anyone?”
None of the students raised their hands nor spoke out to Mrs. Kyoko. Just then, Rini raised her hand.
“Okay, Rini. You can solve 32x15,” said Mrs. Kyoko.
“32x15 is 480,” Rini replied, smiling
“Good! That is right. Okay, anyone else? Come on. They’re not very hard problems,” Mrs. Kyoko tried to convince them.
The girl that was sitting next to Rini tapped her on the shoulder lightly. Rini turned her head and saw that the girl had a hateful look on her face.
“Yes?” Rini asked.
“You think you’re so smart, don’t you?” the girl asked.
“No, whatever gave you that idea?” asked Rini.
“You smiled after you gave the teacher the answer. You think you’re smarter than everyone else here,” the girl said.
“No, I don’t. I just solved a math problem. Big deal. Just because I’m from America, doesn’t mean I’m stupid,” said Rini
“You could’ve fooled me. Why did you even come here anyway? You should’ve stayed in your own country and instead of coming here making us look stupid,” the girl said rudely.
Rini stood up from her desk and faced the girl next to her. “No! That is not true! I don’t know who do you think you are just saying that American people are dumb when there are a lot of American people who are just as smart as everyone else in Japan!! I am not going to sit here next to you while you rant on and on about how dumb I am and that I need to go back to my own country!!! I have just as much right to be here just like you! So if you don’t have anything good to say about the American people, then you might as well not say anything at all!!!!!” shouted Rini at the top of her lungs.
The girl just stared at Rini in a state of shock. Everyone else just stared at her and so did the teacher.
SAMMY’S FIRST
CLASS:
Sammy was sitting at the table by himself while everyone else was doing other activities. Bored, he decided to take out a piece of paper and start drawing random things down. That’s when Mr. Haruki walked up behind him and put his hand on Sammy’s shoulder.
“Samuel, how come you’re not joining everyone else in the activities I have planned for today?” asked Mr. Haruki.
“Uh, no reason,” replied Sammy.
“Why don’t you go over and join the group of guys that’s over there practicing their Japanese words,” Mr. Haruki suggested.
“Do I have to?” Sammy asked.
“Well, you have to do something besides draw stick figures on paper. Go over and make friends. This’ll also give you a chance to catch up on some of the work we’ve done,” Mr. Haruki said.
“Okay,” sighed Sammy as he got up from the table and walked over towards the group of boys that was sitting on the floor by the window, practicing their Japanese words. Sammy just sat down on the floor outside the group, thinking it would be better to be invited in instead of barging in.
“Can we help you?” one of the boys asked.
“Mr. Haruki wanted me to come over here with you all,” Sammy replied.
“Yeah? Well, he doesn’t own our group. Go into somebody else’s,” another boy said.
“I would but I think I’m not wanted around here. It’s pretty much obvious that you all don’t open up to anyone very quickly,” Sammy said.
“That’s right! You’ve got to earn your way into our group,” the first boy said.
“By doing what exactly?” Sammy asked, arching his left eyebrow.
“Andrew’s in charge of that. It’s up to him to let you in the group or not,” the second boy said. He was referring to the heavy set kid with a bad hair cut that was sitting Indian style with his arms crossed.
“That’s right. I’m in charge. You’re the new kid Sammy Tsukino right?” Andrew asked.
“Yeah. Anything else you need to know? I’m sure I can get someone here to help you that knows me,” said Sammy sarcastically.
“Was that sarcasm I just heard?” asked Andrew.
“No one talks like that to Andrew and gets away with it,” the third boy said.
“Shut up, Kiko. Let him figure it out on his own. You know, since he’s new and all,” the second boy said.
“Hey, someone’s gotta prevent Andrew from fighting and getting suspended Hioshi,” said Kiko.
“Both of you shut up and let me handle him,” replied Andrew as he stood up and balled up his fists.
“Ooh, I’m shaking. What are you going to do? Hit me? Oh yeah, I’m so terrified I’m going to run away. Not! You remind me of my sister and my cousin except they can actually put a guy in the hospital with one punch,” said Sammy.
“Your sister and cousin fights?” asked the first boy.
“Yep, best fighters at their last school. It was sorta a high school/martial arts school. Not only can she send them to the hospital in one punch but the guys never come back messing with her after that,” Sammy explained.
“Oh yeah? Well, I’m going to send you crying to your mommy with one punch! Nobody talks to me with sarcasm and gets away with it! I’m the boss you got that, shorty!?” shouted Andrew.
“From the looks of it, you’re shorter than I am. Plus, with all the body weight you’ll probably stay the same height,” Sammy said sarcastically.
“Okay that’s it! You asked for it! Get ready to eat my fists and your own teeth for lunch!!!” Andrew shouted angrily as he charged towards Sammy with his right fist.
Luckily, Sammy caught Andrew’s fist in his left hand and was able to keep Andrew from hitting him.
“You really want to fight me because I’m sarcastic? Why don’t you just admit the fact you hate it when someone stands up to you.”
“Whoa! Nobody has ever caught one of Andrews punches towards them! How’s it possible that this kid can!?” exclaimed the first boy.
“I agree with you, Masakazu! Where did he say he’s from again?” asked Kiko.
“America is where I’m from and just because I’m from America, doesn’t mean I don’t know how to protect myself. I’m kinda more of a goofball once you think about it,” bragged Sammy.
“I don’t care who you are! You’re going down!!” growled Andrew viciously.
“Andrew! Stop this at once! You know better,” shouted Mr. Haruki as he grabbed Andrew’s fist.
“But sir, he was being sarcastic to me. I don’t like when sarcasm is directed towards me. He was asking for he butt to be kicked,” said Andrew.
“Hey, it’s stupid to fight somebody just because they were sarcastic. Where I come from, this kid would be laying in the hospital for trying to fight somebody. He needs some serious lessons on manners,” replied Sammy sarcastically.
“He did it again sir,” Andrew said.
“Andrew, go sit in the corner for ten minutes right now and you also have extra homework for tonight,” ordered Mr. Haruki.
Andrew muttered something under his breath while walking towards the cubby area was and sat down at the desk that was in the corner.
“I need to talk to you, Mr. Tsukino,” Mr. Haruki replied as he walked towards him desk and sat down in his chair. Sammy went up to Mr. Haruki’s desk.
“Yes sir,” answered Sammy.
“I’m sorry about making you go over to sit with the group of boys. I forgot that Andrew doesn’t like it when people gets sarcastic with him. He takes what a person says seriously and gets angry and wants to fight. That’s why he’s been held back for three years. He’s a smart student but he still needs to control his temper around others. You didn’t hit him back did you?” Mr. Haruki asked.
“No sir. But I caught his fist before he could hit my face. I learned that maneuver from my sister and my cousin. They go to Domino High School with some other people I know. Anyway, is there anything else?” asked Sammy.
“Uh no. It’s a good thing you protected yourself. Most kids don’t get that chance and they end up going to the clinic for a bloody or broken nose. That’s happened recently. I’m so sorry. You can go back to your seat.”
Sammy nodded and walked back over to the table he was assigned to and sat down.
MRS. IVA’S TRIGONOMETRY CLASS:
Amy was sitting at her desk by herself doing her math problems while everyone else worked in groups. She felt that since she didn’t know anybody well enough yet, that she’ll make friends later once she gets used to the class.
Just then, a guy with short green hair took one of the desks that was in front of Amy, turned it around so that it faced her, and sat down in it.
“Hi, I’m Corey Sanders,” he said.
“Amy Anderson,” replied Amy, not looking up from her textbook.
“Why are you over here alone? Don’t you want to work in a group with someone?” Corey asked.
Amy blushed slightly when she did look up and saw Corey’s face. “Uh… well… I really don’t know anyone here. I’m a little bit shy around new people,” she said.
“I see. I can help you get to know everyone here in class and at the school. I can even tell you about the people you need to watch out for,” offered Corey.
“I don’t know. I don’t know anything about you really,” Amy said.
“Well, I like reading for one thing. You always catch me with a different book every week. It’s like when I start reading it I can’t stop. It gets just that interesting,” Corey said.
“Really? I’m like that myself. I love to read and I love school. Sometimes I think I’m just way too smart to have friends. Some people are intimidated by others who are smarter then they are.”
“Yeah they are. So, how are you holding up in Trig so far?” Corey asked.
“It’s easy to me. I’m almost done with it.” Amy giggled and blushed.
“Wow, you’re on a roll and it’s only your first day here. Want to sit together at lunch? I’d really like to get to know you a little bit more,” said Corey.
“Sure. Then I can introduce you to some of my friends if I see them today,” said Amy cheerfully.
“Okay. See you at lunch then,” Corey said as he got up and went back to the group he was working with.
“Wow,” whispered Amy to herself while blushing also.

JT: We’re done with chapter 14 pt. 1!
P: *unenthusiastic* Whoo!
G: Hey JT, did you ever get your Tokyo Mew-Mew books yet?
JT: Nope. My friend sold them to someone else because she thought I didn’t have the money because FP told her I didn’t.
FP: I just told her that you didn’t give me any money. I didn’t see anything. She told me she forgot to bring them the day you asked for them.
G: That sucks. So how are you going to get the rest of the books?
JT: Maybe I’ll buy the rest of the volumes when I eventually get a job
P: Good luck with that.
JT: What luck? Most of the college students in our town took every good job there is and all that’s left is a burger job. I’m not that damn desperate.
G: And neither are we. Anyway, hopefully the future chapters of the story will be much more appealing to your likings since the birthday party has finally ended.
JT: Reviews are welcome!
FP: And enjoy! No flamz but con crit has always been welcome. We want just your flat out honest opinion on the story in general or on each of the chapters. ^_^
