MR. ZINAN’S
ALGEBRA III CLASS:
Raye and Mina were in the same class and at this time, a senior by the name of Jessica Case also a semi rich multi-millionaire was teaching the class because Mr. Zinan had a headache and so he had his head down on his desk.
Raye was sitting next to Mina half asleep and drooling. Mina had to nudge her in the arm for her to wake up. She did.
“Wake up, Raye, before you get detention for sleeping in class,” Mina told her.
Raye yawned sleepily. “Who can stay awake in this class? This girl is positively boring,” she said.
“I know. Well, try thinking about something to keep you awake,” Mina, suggested to Raye.
“Oooh, the great and sexy Seto Kaiba. Very hot and sexy,” swooned Raye.
“Yeah, whatever, Raye. Unlike you, I’m staying with a guy that actually wants me. Not a guy who wants to barf at the sight of me,” said Mina sarcastically.
“Very funny, Mina. Anyway, what’s going on between you and Joey? You two seem pretty serious and you’ve only known each other for a month. That was really bold of you to kiss him in front of everybody at Bunny, Jasmine, and Yugi’s birthday party,” Raye said.
“I don’t know what came over me. I just did it,” said Mina.
“So what did Joey said about it?” Raye asked.
“He wanted to know did I really actually want to kiss him or was I just doing it to stop him from swearing around Chibi-Chibi. And me, I’m thinking he was mad at me. Turns out I was wrong. He actually liked me. When Joey kissed me back in the kitchen… I felt like I was in heaven,” Mina swooned.
“Ah, sounds like love to me,” replied Raye.
“Don’t exaggerate, Raye. I don’t think its love. At least not yet anyway,” Mina said.
“It just might be love. Who knows? And if all goes well for you, then maybe something might spark between me and Kaiba,” Raye replied.
“Right, Raye. Whatever you say,” Mina said.
“Uh excuse me, but is there something that you two would like to share with the class that’s so important to talk about while I’m teaching?” asked Jessica Case.
Everyone in class turned around in Mina and Raye’s directions
“Yeah there is. Your teaching stinks. Take my advice, stick to cheerleading,” Mina joked.
Everyone in the class started laughing at what Mina had said.
“You dare make jokes about me you out-cast newbies!?” Jessica shrieked.
“That’s a lot of talk coming from Britney Spears wanna-be,” said Raye sarcastically.
The class laughed even harder.
“I want silence right this minute!!” shouted Mr. Zinan angrily. He had finally woken up, since everyone was being loud, laughing at the jokes Raye and Mina were telling about Jessica.
“I’m so sorry Mr. Zinan but the two new students decided that they wanted to share jokes about me to the class. I am so insulted,” Jessica said, trying to act as if she was hurt.
“Please, the ‘innocent little girl’ act is so not you. Why don’t you try acting out something you are good at,” Mina said.
“Silence! You are not allowed to disrespect your fellow seniors at this school. You must respect them. Jessica is only doing me a favor by teaching the class because I have a headache,” explained Mr. Zinan.
“Then you should’ve stayed home and hired a substitute to teach your class. Jessica here cannot teach. I barely had my eyes open listening to her going on and on,” Raye replied.
“That does not mean you crack jokes about her. I’m sorry but I’m going to have to give you both detentions for two days. This is not the time or the place to be entertaining everyone,” said Mr. Zinan as he wrote up two detention slips for both Mina and Raye. He handed them to Jessica and sat back down in his seat and went back to sleep.
“All right girls, come up and get your detention slips. They’re calling you,” said Jessica sarcastically.
Raye and Mina looked at each other. They began to gather their things and walked up to the front of the class and got their detention slips from Jessica.
“Where do you two think you’re going?” asked Jessica.
“We’re going to start our detention today,” Mina replied.
“Yeah, it beats sitting here listening to you teach and put us to sleep. See ya princess,” Raye replied and she and Mina were going just like that.
Jessica, on the other hand, stood there in front of the class with her mouth open and her hands on her hips.
MRS. MIRAI’S
VIDEO CLASS:
Hotaru was in video class with Mokuba so she wasn’t totally bored. They were setting up the camera for their project that they’re going to be doing together.
“This project is going to be fun doing it with you Hotaru,” Mokuba replied.
“Yeah. I’m kinda glad that you chose me to be your partner. I didn’t really want to work on this with someone I didn’t know and they probably wouldn’t let me do much anyway. This is all new to me. I’m a stranger to everyone at this school,” Hotaru explained.
“Hey don’t worry. By the end of the year, you’ll know just about everybody in the class. They’re fun to work with sometimes. Not all the time. And the projects that Mrs. Mirai gives us are really fun and easy. I’m not much of a big friend maker myself,” said Mokuba.
“Well, nobody is really. Hopefully I’ll survive the year with a good grade to say the very least. I always loved learning how to do new things,” Hotaru said.
“Really? Chloe was in this class before. She’s a whiz with the camera. She did a really funny project on ‘How to Annoy Your Cousin within 24 hours’. It was great,” Mokuba said.
Hotaru giggled. “I kind of figured Chloe would do something funny about her family. Hey maybe she can help us on our project when we need it,” Hotaru suggested.
“That would be cool. We’ll ask Chloe if we see her and Sakura today,” replied Mokuba.
“Okay.” Hotaru smiled happily.
Way on the other side of the
classroom, Maura was sitting in a group with her two friends Gina and
“So what’s up with that gothic
looking girl that’s hanging around Mokuba all of a sudden? Who is she?”
Maura sighed. “That’s his new friend. Her name is Hotaru Tomoe and she has a little sister named Melanie Tenoh. I forgot which one of them was adopted. Her or her sister,” she said.
“Wait, so you’re telling us that she’s not related to her little sister? How much more messed up can this town get? Is her little sister gothic looking too?” asked Gina.
“No, her little sister dresses like a normal person. But there’s also this little six year old named Sammy Tsukino who thinks he’s seven and likes to run around in his mother’s lacey thong panties,” Maura said.
“Ew!” said both Gina and
“Yeah, I know,” Maura replied.
“That… is so gross! Ugh! And Mokuba actually hangs around this little boy?” Gina asked.
“Yeah. He thinks what he does is very funny but I don’t. I tried to tell him what I though of his friends but he just said it’ll take a while for me to get used to them,” explained Maura.
“Ew, is Mokuba kidding? His so called new friends sound like a bunch
of whack-jobs if you ask me. You better
keep a close eye on this Hotaru girl.
She may be out to hurt Mokuba,”
“
“But Mokuba doesn’t care about that. He just wants to make friends. I can’t go putting Mokuba’s new friends down like that. It’s not my place to say whether or not he can hang around them. It’s his choice,” Maura explained to both of her friends.
“Well, if you don’t want to see
Mokuba get hurt, you’ll take our advice, Maura.
He’s setting himself up big time if he keeps hanging around ‘Miss
Freako’ over there. You’d better watch
her closely,” warned
“I guess you’re right,” replied Maura.
“Of course we are. That’s why we’re your friends… do the right thing and protect the man you love,” said Gina.
“Thanks guys. You’re the best,” Maura said, smiling.
MS. EDA’S
READING CLASS:
Sakura, Chloe, and Mamiko were sitting at the round table that was by the bookshelves doing a reading assignment.
“So Mamiko, how long have you been hanging around those girls you call your friends?” Chloe said.
“Well, ever since sixth grade. I’ve been tutoring higher-level students for awhile now. I’ve even tutored ninth graders,” Mamiko smiled.
“That’s awesome. You’re pretty smart, Mamiko. You know, you can get paid to tutor people,” Sakura said.
“Really?” asked Mamiko.
“Really. A lot of people have turned tutoring into a job. You can really get paid tutoring anybody who needs help on anything,” Chloe said.
“Especially those girls you were hanging around. You really need to make them pay you for tutoring them. I would,” replied Sakura.
“Well, that would seem mean on their part but I guess you both do have a point. They were kinda taking advantage of me,” said Mamiko.
“They were from what you’ve told us. And another thing—
“Hey Mamiko, how come you’re hanging around these losers?” asked Naomi, cutting Chloe off in mid-sentence.
“Yeah Mamiko, and where’s our homework by the way? We haven’t got all day you know,” Mika replied.
“Why don’t you losers stop being lazy and do your own damn homework for a change,” Sakura said as she stood up.
“Excuse me, but I do believe we were talking to Mamiko. Not you. And language is not needed in this case,” Akina said sarcastically.
“How would all four of you like to talk to my fist?” Sakura asked as she balled up her right fist.
“No, Sakura. Don’t do it. I can talk to them myself,” replied Mamiko as she blocked Sakura from hitting them.
“That would be a wise choice Mamiko,” Kohana said.
“You don’t have to be a snob about it, Kohana,” Chloe said standing up.
“Do I need to bring up your family history, Chloe?” threatened Naomi.
“Go ahead. I don’t care. It’s not like I like who I live with,” Chloe replied.
“Stop, Chloe. I can handle them. Is talking outside in the hall okay with you four?” Mamiko asked.
“Fine with us,” replied Mika. All four girls left the classroom and went out into the all. Mamiko followed them.
“I hope Mamiko will be alright,” Sakura said worriedly.
“Me too. No telling what they’ll try to make her do,” Chloe replied.
IN THE HALL:
“What were you doing hanging around that new girl and that whore, Chloe!?” asked Naomi angrily.
“Don’t you know what that can do to your reputation!? It’ll ruin it!!” yelled Akina in Mamiko’s face.
“B-but they’re my new friends,” stammered Mamiko.
“New friends!? I thought we were your friends, Mamiko? Ever since that new girl saved your hide this morning in the girls’ bathroom, you’ve been hanging around her and Chloe! Chloe is really bad for your image,” Mika said, crossing her arms.
“I don’t care about being popular or having an image. I just wanna make friends. And you four… are not my friends. Sakura and Chloe are. And one more thing… if you four want help on your homework or anything, you’ll have to pay me ten dollars an hour for tutoring. And tutoring means I teach you, you do the work. Good day to you girls.” Mamiko straightened up her glasses and went back into the classroom.
Naomi, Mika, Akina, and Kohana just stood outside in the hall with their mouths open in a state of shock.
MS. SORANO’S
LANG ARTS CLASS:
Sammy, Melanie, and Kristin were sitting at the small round table, doing their vocabulary words.
“I heard you almost got into a fight today, Sammy,” Melanie replied.
“Well, some jack off wanted to fight me because I was being sarcastic to him. You know, the usual,” Sammy said.
“That’s kinda stupid to fight someone because they’re being sarcastic to you,” said Kristin.
“It is stupid,” Melanie said.
“Andrew is always trying to fight somebody,” replied Kristin.
“I see. So, what’s up with your cousin eyeballing my sister all the time as if she wants to murder her or something?” Sammy asked.
“I can’t say anything but Chloe can though,” Kristin said.
“Right. So you’re telling me that you can’t say anything, but your cousin can? Well, Chloe doesn’t seem to care too much about Tea anyway so I wouldn’t be surprised,” said Sammy.
“Tea just told me if anyone asks about her is not to say anything to them. It’s none of their business,” said Kristin.
“Well that’s not fair. Your sister is up to something isn’t she?” Melanie asked.
“I can’t say anything. All I can say is that she won’t be calling your sister Jasmine her ‘friend’ any time soon. She doesn’t want to be friends with, Jasmine,” explained Kristin.
“What did Jasmine ever do to her? All Jasmine’s been trying to do was get to know Tea a little more like Yugi told her to do and Tea hasn’t made an effort to say anything to her. What’s wrong with your sister? See, I got this eerie feeling about her. I don’t trust Tea. Well, she’s not the only one I don’t trust but those people are a different story,” Sammy said.
“Okay. Whatever Sammy,” Melanie replied.
“Be quiet,” said Sammy.
“You be quiet Sammy,” said Melanie.
“I’m not going to continue this argument. You… shall suffer my wrath after school. My squirrelly wrath,” Sammy replied, pointing at Melanie.
“Please. You’re no Foamy the Squirrel. So stop trying to be him,” said Melanie.
“I’m not trying to be like Foamy. Foamy is cool with all his awesomeness that gives me great ideas to torture people with,” said Sammy, saluting for some odd reason.
“Right Sammy. Right,” said Melanie sarcastically.
“Who is Foamy the Squirrel?” asked Kristin.
“Don’t worry. You’ll find out soon enough. He’s everywhere. Okay, now I’m hungry. When in the hell does lunch start?” Sammy asked, agitated
“Lunch is in two hours,” Kristin replied.
“Sammy can’t hold out that long. He gets hysterical,” Melanie told Kristin.
“C-can I like… nibble on your arm a bit?” Sammy was looking at Melanie’s arms as if it was a piece of meat.
“Ew! No!” Melanie slapped Sammy hard on his left cheek.
“You know, that would’ve felt really good… if it was my ass.” Sammy started patting himself on the butt.
“Fine.” Melanie took her foot from under the table, kicked Sammy in the butt, and Sammy fell out of his chair and onto the floor.
“Ow shit!” he shouted out loud. Everyone heard him. Even the teacher. They just stared at Sammy.
Kristina and Melanie looked at each other and then started laughing at Sammy. Sammy, on the other hand, got up off the floor and got back in his chair.
“What the fuck was that for? Damn that hurt! Uh, that’s it the squirrelly wrath is coming your way right after school!!” Sammy crossed his arms.
“Right,” said both Melanie and Kristin, still laughing at Sammy.
Ms. Sorano walked over to their table and gave them a glare of death.
“Children!” she shouted angrily, “this behavior is unacceptable in my class! I know you have better home training from where you came from.” She was referring to Melanie and Sammy.
“Look lady—
“It’s Ms. Sorano to you, young man,” she replied.
“Okay, whatever. Home training is for dogs, cats, and other animals. Not people. And if you think I need home training then here’s what I’m about to say to you: You can go fuck yourself because I don’t give two shits about what you think. If your own mother shot you in the head today, I wouldn’t care. I hope you get older and have many grandchildren and each one of them has their throats slit and their guts taken out of your own body and smeared down your throat. What I find disappointing is your lack of insults. You are a poor example of a human being,” Sammy said, crossing his arms as if he’s done something to be proud of.
Ms. Sorano, the teacher, took what he said so seriously to the point she fainted. It had gotten to her that bad. Everyone else started doing things they wanted to do that they couldn’t do when Ms. Sorano was usually awake.
MR. BENJIRO’S
WORLD HISTORY CLASS:
Carmen and Brittany were sitting by
the window doing their history assignment.
They class had already finished a project they were working on before
they came there so all
“This school is not all that enthusiastic,” Carmen replied.
“Girl, this is a Japanese
school. They don’t act all wild like we
do,”
“Girl, you obviously don’t look up on the internet a lot. Child, they be having all kinds of conventions down here. They be throwin’ down up in this mug man,” said Carmen.
“That’s when they have all those
big Anime things down here. You know,
those cartoons them little kids be watching,”
“Yeah but that still act wild though. You need to read up more often. Research,” Carmen said sarcastically.
“You don’t even like to research
when you have to do a project that requires it.
You just copy from somebody else,” replied
“So? I still get the work done don’t I?” asked Carmen, trying to be funny.
“You know what I meant,”
“No I don’t. Please enlighten me.”
“Nevermind. Anyway, that boy over there by the door with
his boys has been staring at you for ten minutes. Why don’t you go over there and say hey to
him?”
“Girl… the last time I did that, the guy had a girlfriend already. And that bitch was nuts. She wanted to kill me just because I was saying hey to her boyfriend,” explained Carmen, recalling a past event.
“That was in
“Fine. But if he got a girlfriend and she start talking about I need to stop talking to her man, I’m not listening to you anymore,” Carmen replied as she got up from her seat and walked over towards the door where the boy was with his friends.
“Hello,” the boy said as soon as Carmen made it over to him and his friends. He was a black boy with red-orange hair.
“Hi, uh, what’s your name?” asked Carmen.
“Chad Thomas and these are my friends Chris Powel and Marcus Lewis,” he said.
“Hey ya’ll,” Carmen replied.
“Hello,” said both Chris and Marcus.
“So I hear that you and your friend
are from
“It’s fine. I’ve only lived in
“Cool. I have a cousin by the name of Scott Peterson
that lives in
“If you mean that Scott as in bald-headed, think he knows everything, Scott Peterson then yeah, I know him,” joked Carmen.
“Yep, that’s him alright. I haven’t heard from him in two months. I sent him a letter two months ago. I don’t know if he got it yet,” Marcus said.
“Well, he moved out of my
neighborhood so I don’t know. Well, what
about you, Marcus? Chris? Do you two know someone in
“I don’t know anybody in
“My family just moved here last
year. I’ve made a lot of friends but I
hang around Chris and
“That is true,” Chris said.
“Hey, how about you and your friend
come over here and hang out with us? Do
you mind?” asked
“Of course not. I don’t mind,” said Carmen as she signaled
for
“But I mind,” said a black girl with short red-orange hair. It looked more dyed than real more than anything.
“Who you?” asked Carmen.
“My name is Terrica Collins and you just happen to be talking to my boyfriend,” she said.
“I was trying to make them feel
welcome, Terrica. They’re new here,”
replied
“I don’t care. I don’t trust her or her friend,” Terrica said.
“Now hold up—
“Come on, Carmen. Let’s just go back to our table. It’s obvious we’re not wanted over here,”
“Terrica, why did you do that?” asked Marcus.
“Shut up, Marcus. You know I don’t allow no girl to come on to my man,” said Terrica.
“She wasn’t doing anything like
that, Terrica. She and her friend were
new to this school and
“The big deal is you and Marcus all up in my business when you need to mind your own,” Terrica replied.
“Calm down, Terrica. They’re right. I was trying to make them feel welcome. There’s nothing wrong with making two new
students feel welcome. I do it all the
time. Boy or girl. I’m not cheating on you,”
“Well, I just thought you was because that girl was over here talking to you and your friends and then her friend came over. I got curious,” Terrica lied.
“Why don’t you admit you got
jealous because you thought
“Go to hell boy,” replied Terrica angrily.
“It’s okay. I’m not cheating on you, Terrica. Is it so bad for me to make friends with
other girls just like I let you make friends with other guys without a care in
the world?”
“I don’t know. I’d have to get use to it.”
“It’s a start.”
“Dawg, your girl, got issues. Serious issues,” replied Marcus.
“She’s okay. She’s a little rough around the edges but
Terrica is a pretty nice person,”
“Yeah, pretty annoying person,” joked Chris and Marcus started laughing.
“Ha-ha, Chris,”
“Hey, I calls’em as I sees’em,” said Chris.
MRS. HANA’S
THEATER CLASS:
Bunny and Lita were in this theater class together. They were working on a play that would have to be performed in front of the entire school but the play’s date isn’t until a year from now.
“This is going to be fun performing a play in front of the entire school. And look, Tea’s in this class too. She can help us with our lines,” Bunny said excitedly.
“Mm-hmm,” was Lita’s reply.
“What’s wrong with you? You don’t seem too enthusiastic about this play,” replied Bunny.
“No, I’m just not enthusiastic about Tea helping us with our lines,” Lita said, flipping through the script book.
“And what’s wrong with Tea helping us with our lines? Don’t tell me you’re just like Jasmine and don’t trust her either?” Bunny asked.
“I’m just being cautious. She may be nice on the outside, but who knows what she does when she’s not around us,” said Lita.
“You’re being unfair, Lita. Tea is a nice girl and she’s Yugi’s friend. We’ve already become friends. You really shouldn’t judge a person before you get to know them,” explained Bunny.
“Well, then you need to talk to her cousin Chloe. She told Trista and I some things about Tea you wouldn’t believe,” Lita told Bunny.
“You’re right. Because I don’t believe you already. You would listen to a fourteen year old than the actual person? I thought you knew better than that,” Bunny said.
“Well, just take my advice then: watch what you say around her,” warned Lita as she went over to Mrs. Hana’s desk to ask her something about the play.
(Bunny’s POV)
Is Lita just being too paranoid
or am I being too nice?
(End POV)
(JT: It’s that time of day now!!!^_^ FP: Lunch time!!! P: Who’s up for some hamburgers?! G: Meeeee!!! ^_^ JT: I want fish. *Pouts* P: Too bad! We’re having hamburgers. JT: Hmph! *Crosses arms*)
Akemi Kasai and Aki Ryusaki were at Toni’s Pizzeria for lunch. It was Aki’s idea. (A/N: JT: Akemi is Sailor Tree Leaf and Aya is Sailor Spider. These are their disguise names.)
“We need to find a target Aki. The sooner, the better,” Akemi replied.
Aki was taking a bite of her slice of pizza. “I don’t know. Since we’re going to be working at the Domino News Station Channel 6, we’re going to be having potential targets come to us,” she explained.
“You have a point there. But we’re going to have to be paired with the group of reporters that are working on the project about the Sailor Senshi,” said Akemi.
“I overheard the witches saying that one of the reporter’s names was Cindy Price. Maybe we should work with her,” Aki suggested.
“Maybe. But we also have to get rid of the Sailor Senshi in the process. And getting them on camera is a way to draw them out in the open. This could work to our advantage,” Akemi said.
Aki just kept eating and listening to Akemi ramble on and on.
“Are you listening to me?” asked Akemi.
“Hmm? Of course I am. So, what should be our plan of attack? Should we show up together the first time or go on our own?” Aki asked.
“It’d make more since if we show up together. Showing up individually will only confuse the Sailor Senshi. Maybe later on we can go on our own. Let’s get started already. We have a lot ahead of us.” Akemi put the money on the table for the pizza.
“Can’t we stay longer? I’m still hungry,” Aki replied.
“C’mon,” Akemi grabbed Aki by her arm and out of the pizza polar.
DOMINO
ELEMENTARY CAFETERIA:
Sammy, Melanie, Kristin, and Rini were sitting at one of the tables that were in the middle of the cafeteria. Rini was supposed to be sitting with the fifth graders but after her recent outburst in class earlier today, she decided not to.
“So, I heard that you almost got into a fight today and then turned around and cursed out the teacher,” Rini said.
“Yep. Kristin and me were there when he cussed out the teacher though. Plus she fainted,” Melanie replied.
“And he got ten days in detention for it too,” Kristin added.
“I’ll be joining him for five of those day,” said Rini.
“What did you do? Can’t be any worse than what I did,” Sammy said.
“It’s not. I yelled out in the middle of the class and my teacher gave me five days detention for it,” Rini explained.
“Why did you yell out while the teacher was teaching? Sounds like something more the line of what I would do. Of course, it would’ve been a lot worse,” replied Sammy.
“I believe you too,” Melanie said.
“Well, this girl I was sitting next to tapped me on my shoulder and gave me a death glare as if I had did something wrong. Then she started talking about how stupid American people were and so I yelled at her for it,” explained Rini.
“See, that’s when you take the little bitch by her throat, get a pencil, and stab her ass right dead in the eye,” Sammy said while demonstrating how to stab with a plastic fork.
“I can so see you doing that, Sammy,” said Melanie, drinking her milk.
“Damn right you can,” replied Sammy.
“Hey guys, we got some people eyeballing us,” replied Kristin, looking around.
“Let’em stare. They’re acting as if they’ve never seen friends sit with each other before,” Rini replied.
“Got I wish I had a Bazooka or something. That’ll really liven the mood up in here,” said Sammy.
“No, that’ll just scare the crap out of everyone and they’ll think you’re a terrorist or something,” said Melanie.
“So?” asked Sammy.
“You’re asking to get put in jail. Really you are,” said Rini as she pushed her lunch tray away from her.
“Are you going to eat that?” Sammy asked.
“Take it munchkin,” Rini said, sighing.
“Yay!” Sammy took Rini’s plate and dumped all the food she didn’t eat onto his plate.
“Sometimes I wonder if you’re even human at all,” Kristin joked.
“He’s not. Trust me,” whispered Melanie.
“I heard that,” said Sammy, pointing at Melanie.
“Your point being?” Melanie asked.
“That I heard you,” Sammy replied.
“Right, Sammy. Right,” Melanie replied sarcastically.
DOMINO JUNIOR
HIGH CAFETERIA:
Sakura, Chloe, and Mamiko sat together at lunch. Even Hotaru and Mokuba joined them.
“So, how was your first day here so far, Hotaru?” asked Sakura.
“Not bad. Of course I didn’t make any friends right away but I have Mokuba here. Him and I have the same class,” Hotaru said.
“Cool. Do you like it here so far?” Mamiko asked.
“Aw, it’s okay. I’m still getting used to it though. Mokuba said he’d help me get use to the school. Isn’t that right, Mokuba?” Hotaru smiled at him.
“Yep. Maura didn’t say anything to me today. She and her friends must be helping the art teacher like they normally do around lunch time,” Mokuba said.
“I have art first period. And then Computer Graphics,” replied Hotaru.
“Interesting. So Mokuba, how long have you and Maura been friends?” Sakura asked.
“For awhile before we first started dating. Then we sorta broke up,” said Mokuba.
“Oh. We’re sorry for intruding Mokuba,” Sakura said.
“It’s okay. I don’t mind talking about it,” replied Mokuba.
“Well, why did you and Maura split up?” asked Hotaru.
“Well, Maura was kind of innocent which there is nothing wrong with it but she never really had a sense of humor like you do,” Mokuba smiled at Hotaru.
Hotaru blushed slightly. “Thanks Mokuba, but you gotta give Maura some kind of credit. Were there any good things about her?” asked Hotaru.
“Some. She liked some of the same things I did.”
“Well, that’s good,” Chloe, said.
“Hey Mamiko, you haven’t said much of anything. Are you okay?” Sakura asked her.
“Yes, I’m fine. I just can’t think of much to say in this conversation. It reminds me of my first day here. It wasn’t all that great though. So far, you guys are the only ones who would be friends with someone like me,” Mamiko said.
“Someone like you? Mamiko, we’ll be your friends no matter if you wear glasses or if you’re smarter than us. It doesn’t matter. But who we don’t hang around is people that think they’re all that, own everyone, and rule everything. It’s hard for people like that to change their ways. Give yourself more credit, Mamiko. You’re way more better than the losers you were hanging around,” Sakura said.
“She’s right Mamiko. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you came from, you’re still you and you always will be. And we’ll always be your friends. No matter what happens,” said Chloe.
“Totally,” Hotaru said, giving Mamiko a thumbs-up.
“Same here,” Mokuba replied.
“Thanks guys. You’re the best. That means a lot to me,” Mamiko said happily.
DOMINO HIGH
CAFETERIA:
Bunny, Lita, Amy, Raye, and Mina were getting their lunch. There was no problem except the fact that they couldn’t figure out where they wanted to sit.
“Where should we sit?” asked Amy.
“How about we sit with Yugi and his friends?” Bunny suggested.
“Cool, I haven’t seen Joey all day,” said Mina, running over towards the table Joey was sitting at with Yugi and everyone else.
“I’m following her,” Raye replied, running towards the table as well.
“Might as well since Mina and Raye are already over there,” Amy said.
“Amy has a point,” Lita replied.
“All right let’s go,” said Bunny.
Bunny, Lita, and Amy walked over to Yugi’s table.
“Hey girls,” Yugi greeted them.
“Hey, Yugi. Have you seen Jasmine today?” asked Bunny.
“Actually I did. She and I have the same first period and I don’t see her after that,” said Yugi.
“Oh. Well, I’ve looked basically everywhere for her and I still can’t find her. Even on a school campus as big as this she couldn’t have just disappeared,” Bunny said.
“She could always be under the big oak tree that’s outside the school,” Joey said.
“What big oak tree?” asked Raye?
“It’s a big field that’s across the street that some of us hang around when we don’t feel like sitting in here to eat our lunch,” explained Joey.
“Cool. I might check it out myself,” Mina said.
“It’s basically a hiding spot for Joey when he gets into some trouble,” Tristan joked.
“Shut up, Tristan,” Joey said.
“Well, he does have a point, Joey. You do kinda get yourself into some trouble you can’t get out of,” said Tea.
“Well, I get myself out of it don’t I? Hmph!” Joey crossed his arms.
“No one thinks you’re funny, Joey,” replied Tristan.
“Anyway, do you really think she’ll be there?” asked Bunny.
“Knowing Jasmine, she’s probably trying to get away from the crowd and want to be by herself,” said Yugi.
“Hey guys, I gotta go. I was supposed to meet someone at lunch. I’ll see you later,” said Amy as she gathered her things and her lunch and went to the other side of the cafeteria.
“Sounds like Amy is met a new friend,” Raye said, snickering.
“Probably. I hope we get to meet them soon,” Lita said.
“Yeah,” laughed Raye.
“So, do you girls like it here so far?” asked Tristan.
“It’s great. Sure we haven’t made any friends yet but we will soon,” Bunny smiled.
“Don’t worry about it. You’ll make friends with someone at our school. It may not be now but soon you will,” Tea said.
“Tea’s right. Everyone here is virtually harmless,” Yugi replied.
“Out of my way losers!! Can you see a girl and her friends trying to get their lunch here?!” shouted a girl in the lunch line.
“Except for that girl. That there… is Jessica Case, she a multi-millionaire, and she also has dirt on almost everybody at this school. She uses that dirt to blackmail people into doing things for her. You girls be careful around her. You don’t want to get on her bad side. Once you do, she’s got a vendetta against you from now until the time you graduate,” Joey explained.
“But she’s a senior now. How can she get dirt on anyone after she graduates from this school?” asked Lita.
“She claims after she graduates, her little sister Elizabeth is supposed to be moving here after she graduates middle school in America and come here to go to high school. Jessica’s going to get a job as a teacher to keep an eye on her,” Tristan added.
“And her sister is just as bad as she is. It’s quite sad to have a bad family full of bad apple children,” Tea replied.
“Well, does she have any dirt on you guys?” asked Mina.
“Probably. We wouldn’t be surprised if she didn’t. There’s nothing about us that everyone doesn’t already know though,” said Yugi.
“To be honest, that Jessica girl is in our third period class. Raye and I were talking amongst ourselves because her teaching was so boring and she got mad at us. We made a few jokes and got two days detention for it,” Mina explained.
“Ah, be careful girls. Don’t do that again or you might—
“Well, well, well, if it isn’t the jokesters from third period. Who would’ve thought that you two would know Yugi Moto and his friends? Oh and I see that you brought some other American friends with you to this school,” Jessica said sarcastically. She also had a group of girls standing behind her.
“Take a hike, Jessica. Joey is not a dog he’s a person. And as far as I’m, just because you’re so called ‘rich’ doesn’t mean you can treat people the way you want to and think you can get away with it. And if you can’t understand what I’m saying because of my low popularity status, let me translate it for you slowly: Get… A… Life,” Mina told Jessica.
Jessica scoffed and her and her little posse of friends left to go and sit at their own table.
“Wow, you’re the first person at this school that was bold enough to tell Jessica off. Everyone else is afraid of her because of her ‘popularity status’ and because of the dirt she has and blackmailing them because of it,” Tristan said.
“Anybody could’ve told Jessica off,” replied Tea.
“Then why didn’t you do then?” asked Lita.
“She wasn’t talking to me, Lita,” Tea said sarcastically.
“Anyway, thanks again, Mina. I owe you for standing up for me. I’m sick of everyone calling me a dog. I get no respect at this school,” Joey said.
“No one does Joey so you’re not the only one,” Tea said.
“How long has Jessica been harassing people like this?” asked Raye?
“She’s been doing this ever since ninth grade. Even the seniors were afraid to do anything to her,” Yugi replied.
“That’s kinda sad that a person like Jessica would go to such great lengths to put people down and make them miserable?” Bunny asked.
“Jessica… will do anything to get what she wants. Just remember that,” warned Tea.
“We’ll remember that,” replied Lita.
AT JESSICA’S
TABLE:
“UGH!! Who does that American girl think she is showing me up like that!? She is on my list of ‘New Students to get Info on!!!” shouted Jessica angrily.
“Calm down, Jessica. I already put her and her friends down on the list. So far I got Raye Hino, Lita Kino, Mina Aino, and Bunny Tsukino. Bunny also has a twin sister by the name of Jasmine Tsukino and Jasmine is dating Yugi Moto,” said a girl with short maroon hair.
“Wow Nicole, somebody is on a role today. Anybody else at this school that might know them?” asked Jessica.
“Not that I know of. What about you, Molly?” Nicole asked.
“Well, there’s this one girl by the name of Ryoko Kajimoto. She’s in my second period class. She said she was half-American and half-Japanese. She also said she had two cousins that went here but wouldn’t tell me their names,” Molly told Nicole.
“How can anyone be half-American and half-Japanese?” asked Jessica.
“She said her father was Japanese and her mother is American,” said Molly.
“Hmm… interesting… put her on the list as well. Anyone else? Sandra? What about you?” Jessica asked.
“Two girls… one’s named Carmen
Adams and the other one is Brittany Collier.
They’re best friends and they are also friends with the Jasmine Tsukino
girl Nicole mention. Carmen got on
Terrica’s bad side when she talked to her boyfriend
“This may be our toughest assignment yet. What’cha got, Haley?”
“Amy Anderson. Has trig for third period and Corey Sanders invited her to sit with him during lunch today. She’s really smart and doesn’t seem like the type of person to hurt anybody,” Haley said.
“Okay, as long as you give me their names, I can do the rest. So, when do you want me to start finding out information on them, Jessica?” asked Nicole.
“I’d say as soon as possible. That Mina girl has really pissed me off. I want you to find as much dirt on her and her friends as you possibly can. And find out some more on the Ryoko girl. She might be related to one of them and I want to know who,” ordered Jessica.
“You got it, Jessica,” Nicole said, writing all of what was told to her down in a personal tablet that said ‘Information’.
“No one talks to me like that and
gets away with it. Before I graduate
from this school, I want to make sure that they get the worse of what’s coming
to them. So my little sister can finish
what I started in the Case family name at
“You are horrible, Jess,” Nicole said, smiling.
“Thank you, Nicole. You’re too kind,” replied Jessica.
THE FIELD
ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE SCHOOL:
Jasmine was sitting under the big oak tree eating her lunch silently. She kept thinking about recent events that happened over the weekend.
(Jasmine’s POV)
I wonder why Galaxia summoned the witches from the underworld. They were banished there six years ago by Catora. This doesn’t make any sense. Why is Galaxia going to such great lengths to get rid of us? Then… there’s Kaiba. I can’t quite figure out how that moment of him giving me a kitten ended up to us kissing each other. He’s usually an asshole but there’s something about him that makes me feel so close to him but I’m not sure why…
(End POV)
Jasmine continued to eat her lunch silently. As the wind began to blow slightly, Jasmine heard a weird noise behind the oak tree she was sitting under. She put her lunch tray down and looked behind the tree to see what it was. Come to find out, Kaiba was lying on the ground asleep and snoring.
“Well, speak of the devil. If it isn’t rich boy himself,” said Jasmine to herself.
Kaiba was asleep on the ground peacefully with drool coming down the side of his mouth. Jasmine frowned and grabbed a napkin and wiped the drool of the side of his mouth.

(End POV)
Jasmine wiping the side of Kaiba’s mouth woke him up. He looked at her with confusion.
“What are you doing?” he asked groggily.
“I was wiping the drool off the side of your mouth. You looked like a monkey drooling like that,” Jasmine said sarcastically.
“Very funny,” Kaiba replied, sitting up.
“How come you’re so tired? Didn’t you get any sleep last night?” Jasmine asked.
Kaiba yawned sleepily. “I would’ve if Chibi-Chibi hadn’t kept up most of the night with her crying.”
“What? Why was she crying? Is she okay? Why didn’t you call me?!” Jasmine started to panic.
“Calm down. She’s okay. She was climbing out of the crib I put her in and wound up falling and she hurt herself. She sprained her arm,” explained Kaiba.
“Are you crazy putting her in a crib that’s so high when you know she’s going to climb out of it!?” shouted Jasmine angrily.
“I didn’t think she would,” said Kaiba.
“She is a infant, Kaiba! She’s has a mind of her own! I can’t believe you would let this happen,” Jasmine cried.
“I’m sorry, Jasmine. I’m so sorry. I won’t let it happen again. I promise,” Kaiba said as he tried to comfort Jasmine but she wouldn’t let him.
“Your promises mean nothing if you can’t keep them!” Jasmine moved away from Kaiba and back to the other side of the tree.
“I’m really sorry, Jasmine. I’ll make it up to you,” Kaiba replied.
“That doesn’t mean anything to me. You said you cared about Chibi-Chibi,” said Jasmine angrily, crossing her arms.
Kaiba got up and moved over to the side of the tree where Jasmine was sitting. Kaiba sat down next to her.
“I don’t want us to get in another argument, Jasmine. I do care about Chibi-Chibi. I’m sorry that she had sprained her arm but I had my doctors take a look at her and they said that it wasn’t broken. They gave me some medicine for her to take with warm milk before she goes to bed. She’s fine. I assure you.”
Jasmine turned her head towards Kaiba and just looked at him. Her eyes were red from crying. She still had a few tears fall down the side of her left cheek but Kaiba wiped them away.
“I want to see her,” she replied, sniffling.
“That’s fine. After school I’ll
take you to the
“Only if I can bring Yugi with me,” said Jasmine.
“It’s fine with me. As long as it makes you feel better. Huh?” Kaiba noticed that Jasmine had laid her head in his lap and closed her eyes.
“Are you sure she’s okay, Kaiba?” Jasmine asked, softly.
“Yes, I’m sure. You can even come to the mansion today and spend some time with her. How does that sound?” Kaiba smiled.
Jasmine looked up at him. “I’d really like that.”
