JT: I’ve completed the first part of my New Year’s resolution!!!  Yay me!!! (toots horn)

P: Yeah, KK here made a resolution to make it to chapter 16 and the second part was to make it to chapter 20 before the end of this year.

G: That’s… an interesting resolution.

FP: We all make strange resolutions.

P: My New Year’s resolution was to kill somebody…

JT, G, and FP: O_O

P: Yeah, I can be quite strange sometimes.

JT: We already know that.

FP: Whom did you want to kill?

P: I shall never tell.

G: O…K… anyway, here’s chapter 16.  Enjoy the chapter.  We don’t own YGO or SM.

P: Who would want to?

Chapter 16 Caught on Camera pt. 1

Schools have finally ended for the day and now everyone is either going home to start on their homework or going to have some after school fun.  Jasmine, on the other hand, was waiting for Kaiba outside by the gate so he could take her to the daycare Chibi-Chibi was at.  Yugi was with her also.

“So, Kaiba is supposed to be taking you to the daycare where Chibi-Chibi is?” asked Yugi.

“Yeah.  After he told me that Chibi-Chibi sprained her arm I-I’m just worried about her.  I just don’t understand how Kaiba can be that careless.” Jasmine crossed her arms and sighed.

“Don’t blame him Jasmine.  He didn’t know she would actually climb out of her crib.  I don’t believe Kaiba would let anything happen to Chibi-Chibi,” said Yugi.

“Maybe you’re right.  He really does seem to care about Chibi-Chibi even though he shows it own his own weird way,” Jasmine replied.

“At least you’re warming up to him a little bit.  When you first met Kaiba, you couldn’t stand him.  And now, you two have managed to become friends.  And I know for a fact that Kaiba doesn’t really believe in friendship,” Yugi said.

“I see.  Well, maybe he’s turning over a new leaf.  Who knows?  He seems much nicer than when I first met him,” Jasmine said.

“At least Kaiba has a friend.  But you’re going to have a hard time convincing Sakura of Kaiba’s nice attitude,” Yugi replied.

“Yep.  I know.  She’s just like me.  I’ll have to give her some time on her own to do that.  It’d be best not to say anything to her for awhile,” Jasmine suggested.

“I agree.” Yugi nodded his head in agreement.

“Hey Yugi!” called a familiar voice.  Yugi and Jasmine both turned around to see Tea standing behind them.

“Hey Tea, what’s up?” asked Yugi.

“Nothing much.  I was about to go and pick my cousin and sister up from school.  What are you two doing?” Tea asked.

“Nothing really.  We were just about to hang out,” Jasmine replied, crossing her arms.

“Mind if I join you two?”

(Jasmine’s P.O.V)

What is Tea up to?  Why does she want to follow Yugi and me everywhere we go?

(End P.O.V)

“Sure Tea.  I don’t see why not.  You don’t mind do you Jasmine?” Yugi asked.

“Well, what about your cousin and sister?  How are they supposed to get home?” asked Jasmine.

“Well, my mom normally picks them up while I drive them to school in the morning.  I just decided earlier that I’d do it and give her a break.  But I never got around to calling my mom to let her know,” Tea explained.

“Gee, I wonder why,” muttered Jasmine.

“Kaiba’s coming Jasmine,” Yugi replied, pointing towards the entrance of the school.

“Kaiba?  Are you guys going somewhere with him?” asked Tea.

Kaiba was coming out of the school slowly

“What took you so long?” Jasmine asked him.

“I had some things to take care of.  Are you two ready to go?” he asked.

“Yeah, we’re ready,” said Yugi.

“Yeah we were just waiting on you,” Jasmine said.

“Then let’s go,” replied Kaiba as he began walking towards the limo that was parked in front of the school.

“Hey Kaiba, can Tea come with us?” Yugi asked.

Kaiba turned around and saw Tea waving at him with a smile on her face. “No,” he said.

“Why not?” Tea asked as she put her hands on her hips.

“Because I said so,” Kaiba replied as he started walking again.

“Where are you guys supposed to be going anyway?” Tea crossed her arms.

“The Domino Daycare Center.  Kaiba’s taking us there so we can pick up Chibi-Chibi,” explained Yugi.

“And I can’t go because…”

“Didn’t I just say no?  Good-bye,” Kaiba said, gruffly.

“Let Tea come Kaiba.  What’s the problem?” Yugi complained.

Jasmine went up to Kaiba, grabbed him by his arm, and pulled him to the side so Yugi and Tea wouldn’t hear their conversation.

“Let Tea come Kaiba,” Jasmine replied.

“Are you crazy?  I said no already.  I’m not letting Tea come with us.  Besides, I don’t like her and I know you don’t either,” said Kaiba.

“That may be but she’s still Yugi’s friend and he wants her to come,” said Jasmine.

“Well, I don’t.  I’m sorry but she can’t come and that’s final.  What is she going to do anyway?  Not much of anything considering that she hasn’t said much to you to know anything about you.” Kaiba crossed his arms.

“Look, I’m not wild about the idea of her coming with us but she is Yugi’s friend and I have to accept that.  So let Tea come.  Please?” begged Jasmine, giving Kaiba the puppy dog look.

“Fine but don’t think that trick you just pulled is going to work all the time,” Kaiba said as he walked towards the limo.

Yugi walked up to Jasmine. “So can Tea come Jasmine?” he asked.

“Yeah she can come.” Jasmine smiled then turned around and walked towards the limo.

“Jasmine didn’t seem to happy about me coming Yugi,” Tea replied, walking up next to Yugi.

“Of course she is Tea.  She got Kaiba to let you come,” Yugi said.

“So I guess I’ll be following you guys.  Too bad I can’t ride in the limo with you all.  I’ve always wanted to ride in one,” Tea replied, pretending to pout. (FP: She is so damn fake.  She needs to die.  P: Tell me about it.)

“Hold on.  I’ll ask Kaiba if you can hook your car to the back of his limo,” Yugi sad as he got in the limo himself.

(Tea’s P.O.V)

Perfect.  With me around, Jasmine will start to doubt that Yugi is being faithful to her.  She may have helped me come along, but that was her biggest mistake ever.  When she dumps Yugi, I’ll be there to heal his heart and nothing is going to stop me from doing that.

(End P.O.V)

AT THE BUS STATION:

Amy was at the bus station waiting for a bus to pick her up and take her home.  She’d been waiting for twenty minutes and still no bus.  She looked at her watch.  It was 3:30.

(Amy’s P.O.V)

Maybe I should’ve taken the bus with the others…

(End P.O.V)

Amy was about to walk home when a group of guys was heading in her direction.  From the looks of it, they looked like street punks looking for some trouble.

“Well, well, well, look what we got here boys.  We got ourselves a cutie here,” one of the guys said.  He was wearing a backwards-orange hat.

“Yep and she’s a pretty one too Roy,” said another one, smacking on some gum.

Amy, startled, backed away from the guy that was making on the gum and accidentally bumped into the guy wearing the backwards-orange hat.  He grabbed Amy’s right arm.

“Jeff… Brett… we’re going to have us some fun here,” Roy replied, squeezing Amy’s arm.

“Let me go!!  Please!!” Amy cried.

“Aw, she’s crying.  Well, we ain’t letting you go.  Not yet anyway,” said Roy as he threw Amy on the ground.  Jeff and Brett started laughing.  Brett was going to go first in trying to take off Amy’s school uniform jacket but she was able to stop him dead in his tracks by kicking him in the crotch which made him drop down to the ground and squeal in pain.

“You bitch!!!” Brett shouted angrily.

“You’re so weak Brett.  Let me show you how it’s done,” Roy said.

Amy tried to get up and run but Roy grabbed her by the neck and threw her back on the ground.  He had Jeff hold her down while Roy started undoing his pants.

“This is going to be fun,” he said as he undid the belt buckle to his pants.

Brett finally got up off the ground and held Amy’s legs so she wouldn’t kick him, Roy, or Jeff.  She struggled the best she could to get free but it was no use.

“Now we’re going to show you what happens to little girls who don’t obey,” said Roy as he began undoing Amy’s school uniform jacket.

“STOP!!!!  GET OFF OF ME!!!!!! SOMEONE HELP ME!!!!!!!” Amy screamed.

“Shut up!!!” Roy slapped Amy in the face as hard as he could before she was unconscious.

“Boys… now’s our chance,” replied Roy.

“Stop right there, Roy!!  You so much as lay a hand on her, I’ll call the cops and have you and your friends arrested for rape!!” someone shouted.

“Who’s there?” Roy turned around and saw Corey standing next to one of the benches.

“Well, if it isn’t our old tutor Corey Sanders.  Don’t you have a calculator to rescue or something,” said Roy sarcastically.

“I bet you can’t spell calculator Roy.  Let Amy go right now,” Corey said.

“So you know this girl?  Hey Roy, let’s get out of here,” suggested Jeff.

“Fine.  We’ll be seeing you again later Sanders.  Just you wait,” Roy said as he redid his belt buckle.  Jeff and Brett let Amy’s hands and legs go and all three of them just left.

Corey, on the other hand, ran to over to Amy’s side to see if she was okay.  He gently lifted her head up.

“Amy, are you okay?  Can you hear me?” Corey was lightly shaking her.  Amy eventually opened her eyes.  She had a bruise on her left cheek from where Roy hit her.  It wasn’t that big though.

“C-Corey,” she stammered.

“You okay Amy?” Corey asked her.

“I-I’m fine.  What happened to those guys?” she asked.

“They’re gone.  You don’t have to worry about them anymore.  Let me get you to a doctor,” Corey replied as she picked Amy up, carried her out of the bus station to his car.

AT JOEY’S HOUSE:

Mina and Joey were sitting on the floor, doing their homework on the coffee table.  They even made themselves a snack just in case they got hungry, which Joey always is.  Joey’s father was still at work so they had the house to themselves for awhile or at least until he got home.

“Joey, are you sure you know how to do that problem?” Mina asked.

“Eh, not really,” Joey admitted.  They were working on Algebra III homework.  They had the same class, just not at the same period.

“Not good at math… are you Joey?” asked Mina.

“Not exactly.  My math grades aren’t really pretty.  Heh, none of my grade are for that matter.  Sometimes I think I should just give up on school altogether,” Joey said, putting his pencil down on the table.

“Don’t give up Joey.  Remember what you told me when I first got here?” asked Mina.

(Flashback)

“If you like volleyball as much as you say you do, then you’ll enroll at my school and try out to be on an official volleyball team.  There’s nothing wrong with playing it for fun but if you really like playing and you really want to be on a team, then you’d try again.  Even if someone is better than you.  Don’t quite because of them.  Enroll at my school.  I’m sure they’ll let you play,” Joey replied.

“Well… I don’t know Joey.  It’s kind of my summer vacation and I was hoping to relax and get a tan,” said Mina.

“Well, my dad’s rules are, as long as you’re living in this house, you have to go to school.  I hate it but it’s his rule,” said Joey.

Mina giggled.  “I guess.  Maybe.  I’ll think about it Joey.  I promise,” she said.

(End flashback)

“Sounds like me.  Ah, maybe you’re right Mina.  I’d be a high school drop-out if I gave up on school.  So, have you joined the volley ball team yet?” asked Joey.

“Not yet but I will soon.  I wanted to make sure I got my academic classes out of the way before I do anything that isn’t required,” said Mina.

“Well, that’s good.  Me, I’d probably avoid the class,” replied Joey.

“Well, you can’t always achieve what you want if you keep avoiding the things you need.” Mina giggled.

“I know.  How would you and you’re friends like to join Yuge and the rest of us on Friday’s for our study group.  How does that sound?” Joey asked.

“Sounds awesome and I’ll run it by my friends when I a chance,” Mina said.

“Glad to hear that you’re into it.” Joey smiled.

IN KAIBA’S LIMO:

“Are you sure this is the way to the daycare center, Kaiba?” asked Jasmine.

“Yes, it is.  Don’t worry.  We’ll get there,” Kaiba replied.

“What about your little brother, Kaiba?  Aren’t you supposed to pick him up too?” Tea asked.

“I called his school and left a message at the office for them to give to him that I’ll be a little late picking him up,” explained Kaiba.

Just then, Jasmine’s cell phone started ringing.  She took it out of her backpack and answered it.  It was Carmen.

(Tea’s P.O.V)

Now… this is my chance to try and talk some sense into Yugi.  I can’t let this slut break his heart.  Yugi doesn’t deserve that kind of pain.

(End P.O.V)

Tea and Kaiba were sitting across from Yugi and Jasmine in the limo.  Yugi was too busy reading a book to notice that Tea was about to get up and sit next to him.  But when she tried to, Kaiba stuck out his left leg, tripped Tea, and caused her to fall face first into his lap.

“AAH!” Kaiba jerked back in his seat.

“Ow.” Tea said as her face still in Kaiba’s lap.

Jasmine was took busy talking on the phone to notice what just happened but Yugi looked up from his book and saw Tea’s face in Kaiba’s lap.  His left eye started twitching.

“Tea… what… are you doing?” he asked.

Tea lifted her face out of Kaiba’s lap.  She turned her head to face Yugi’s direction and blushed furiously. “Yugi…I … uh, er, nothing happened.  I just tripped and landed on Kaiba,” she explained.

Tea didn’t get off of Kaiba fast enough so he pushed her back on the other side of the limo… far away from him.

“Hey!  Watch it you jerk!” replied Tea angrily.

“Stay away from me,” Kaiba said, starring out of the limo window as if nothing happened.

(Kaiba’s P.O.V)

God, I feel violated in so many ways possible…

(End P.O.V)

“Are you okay, Tea?” Yugi asked.

“I’m fine.  God, I’m going to have to bathe when I get home,” said Tea straightening up her uniform.

“I can always put you on the side the road along with that scrap heap you call a car,” Kaiba replied sarcastically, still looking out the window.

Tea just glared at him in anger.

(Tea’s P.O.V)

That was totally embarrassing!!  If I didn’t know any better, I’d swear Kaiba knew what I was doing and tried to stop me.  Well, no matter, not even Seto Kaiba can stop me from being with Yugi.

(End P.O.V)

Just then, the limo stopped and the driver opened the door for Kaiba to get out.  Jasmine told Carmen she had to go and that she’d call her back later.  She put her cell phone back in her backpack and got out of the limo right behind Kaiba.

“She better be okay Kaiba,” Jasmine replied, crossing her arms.

“She is Jasmine.  I swear to you that she is,” said Kaiba.

“You promise,” Jasmine asked.

“I promise,” Kaiba said.

“Like that’s going to make me feel better,” replied Jasmine as she walked ahead of Kaiba.

“I never said it was going to,” muttered Kaiba.

Back in the limo, Tea and Yugi were alone together while Jasmine and Kaiba were inside the Domino Daycare Center.  Yugi was still reading his book and didn’t notice that Tea had sat next to him.

(Tea’s P.OV)

What am I going to say to him?  I have to think of something to strike up a conversation with him.  Think, Tea, think… I got it!

(End P.O.V)

“What are you reading Yugi?” asked Tea.

“Just a book I checked out from the library,” he replied.

“Um, have you ever sat back and thought about what your life would be like twenty years from now?” Tea asked.

“Not really.  If I did, I’d imagine it with Jasmine,” Yugi answered.

“Are you planning on marrying her someday Yugi?”

“Probably.  I really love her, ya know?  I’ve known her ever since we were in elementary school.  Sure she used to pick on me a lot but I found out why,” Yugi explained.

“That’s kinda mean don’t you think?  You never told me she used to pick on you.  I would never do that to a guy a cared a lot about,” Tea replied.

“Well, Jasmine means no harm.  We were young and she thought that no one cared about her.  But I helped her see that she was wrong,” explained Yugi.

“Okay, how did you fall in love with her if she picked on you so much?” asked Tea.

“I have no idea.” Yugi looked up from his book and smiled at Tea. “I guess you can say it was love at first sight,” he said.

(Tea’s P.O.V)

He calls that love at first sight?!  Falling for a girl that used to pick on him and probably beat him up too?  It’s worse than I thought.  Poor Yugi is in denial.

(End P.O.V)

Outside, Chibi-Chibi was running towards Kaiba and Jasmine happily.  She started jumping up and down excitedly.

“Mama!!  Dada!!” she said.  With the sling on her arm, she wasn’t able to jump up and down very well.  She kept jumping until she fell on the concrete on her butt.  She started crying very loudly.

“Shh, it’s okay sweetie,” Jasmine picked Chibi-Chibi up and lightly patted her on her back to calm her down.

“Let me try,” Kaiba replied, handing for Chibi-Chibi but Jasmine turned away from him.

“I’ve got it.  You’ve done enough.  I can handle it on my own.  It’s not like I’ve never done this before,” Jasmine said, still patting Chibi-Chibi lightly on her back.

“I didn’t say that Jasmine.  I told you I was sorry that she got hurt,” said Kaiba.

“I know that already.  You don’t have to keep apologizing to me,” said Jasmine

“Excuse me, I’m sorry to interrupt but I couldn’t help but notice that you both look awfully young to have a child together,” replied the Daycare Instructor.

Kaiba and Jasmine looked at each other and then back at the Daycare Instructor.

“I’m sorry but we don’t have a child together,” replied Jasmine.

“You don’t?  Then who does this little girl belong to?” the Daycare Instructor asked.

“Uh, she belongs to me.  She’s my uh… little sister.  She’s just around me most of the time while my mom is out of town on business trips back and forth to America and here.  Kaiba here is just sometimes at my house because his little brother is friends with my little brother,” Jasmine said.

“Oh.  I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to intrude or anything.  My name is Cathy Sato and I’m the Daycare Instructor,” she said.

“Jasmine Tsukino and you already know this person behind,” Jasmine said, shaking Cathy’s hand.

“I do have a name,” replied Kaiba.

“And I care because why?” Jasmine asked sarcastically.

“Never mind,” Kaiba turned around and crossed his arms.

“So you two are dating each other or something?” Cathy asked.

“No, I already have a boyfriend and Kaiba isn’t the boyfriend,” said Jasmine sarcastically.

“Oh well.  I just thought he was because this little girl here was calling him her father.  I think it’s quite cute.  Too bad you have a boyfriend though.  I think Mr. Kaiba here is a very strapping young man,” Cathy smiled while blushing also.

“Don’t sell yourself short Cathy.  He’s not at all strapping,” Jasmine replied, walking back towards the limo.

“But if you didn’t have a boyfriend, would you think I’m strapping then?” Kaiba joked.

Jasmine turned around, walked back towards Kaiba and slapped him as hard as she could in his face.  She then turned back around and walked back towards the limo.

“Are you okay Mr. Kaiba?” asked Cathy worriedly.

“I’m fine,” he replied, rubbing his face.

“That girl has quite the temper doesn’t she?” Cathy asked, putting her hands on her hips.

“You have no idea,” said Kaiba as he walked towards his limo. (FP: Smooth move chinzilla.  P: (is sharpening butcher knife) G: Sometimes I wonder if P is writer material.  JT: She is, in a more… violent way.)

Meanwhile, Jasmine was getting back into the limo and saw that Tea was sitting next to Yugi.  She got suspicious.

“What… are… you… doing?” Jasmine glared at Tea.

“Me?  I’m not doing anything.  Yugi and I were just having a friendly conversation Jasmine, while you and Kaiba were taking care of things with Chibi-Chibi here.  Who by the way is totally adorable,” Tea said as she took Chibi-Chibi out of Jasmine’s arms and put her in her lap.

“You’ve just signed your own will,” replied Jasmine.

Please.  I doubt I’m doing anything wrong.  Besides, you’re not the only one that’s good with children,” Tea replied, bouncing Chibi-Chibi on her knee.

Chibi-Chibi was quiet for a moment before she started crying as loud as she could, causing Yugi to throw his book down on the floor and cover his ears and Tea to back up and wonder what she did wrong.  Jasmine took Chibi-Chibi out of Tea’s lap and put her in her own lap.  She stopped crying when she saw Kaiba get into the limo.

“Dada!!” she clapped her hands happily.

“I’m guessing something just happened,” Kaiba replied.

“Nothing big except Tea trying to play ‘mommy’ to Chibi-Chibi and it didn’t work so she started crying.  Anything else you want to know?” asked Jasmine sarcastically.

“Not really.”  Kaiba looked over at Tea who turned her head away from him and crossed her arms.

“Sorry about that Yugi.  I know you were trying to read,” Jasmine said.

“It’s okay Jasmine.  I can always finish reading it at home,” Yugi replied as he picked the book up off the floor and put it in his backpack.

“Okay,” Jasmine replied, playing peek-a-boo with Chibi-Chibi.

Kaiba sighed.  “Driver, take us to Domino Jr. High,” he said.

“Yes sir,” the driver said.

AT THE TSUKINO FAMILY HOME:

Diane was in the kitchen cooking dinner when Bunny walked in looking as if she hadn’t eaten in two years.

“Mom, when is dinner going to be ready?  I’m starving,” Bunny replied.

“Bunny, aren’t you supposed to be doing your homework?  You know I don’t like it when you ask me every five minutes when will dinner be ready.  It’s annoying,” Diane said.

“Hmph!  Well, I can’t help it if I can’t stand waiting.  It drives me crazy,” said Bunny.

Right.  By the way, where is Jasmine?  I hadn’t seen her come home from school yet,” said Diane.

“Um, I think she and Yugi went somewhere with Kaiba to pick up Chibi-Chibi from daycare or something like that she said,” Bunny told Diane.

“Out again with Seto Kaiba?  I thought she hated him,” Diane arched her left eyebrow.

“Well, no actually.  They agreed to be friends with each other, which they should’ve done a long time ago.  Especially now that they have to take care of Chibi-Chibi,” Bunny said.

“They’re friends?  It just doesn’t seem like those two to just become friends as much as Jasmine has tortured Kaiba,” Diane replied.

“Didn’t you have to act mature around us mom?  After all, we are your children,” said Bunny.

“That’s different Bunny.  Chibi-Chibi is not Jasmine and Kaiba’s child.  They’re just taking care of her until they find her real family,” Diane said.

“Chibi-Chibi doesn’t have a real family.  Kaiba tried to find out some information about her background but he didn’t find anything,” Bunny explained.

“I see.  That’s very odd,” said Diane.

“Yea it is but it doesn’t seem to bother them.  I think she said she might be hanging out at the mansion awhile too.  And she also said that Tea was with them she didn’t seem too happy about it though,” said Bunny.

“Well, you should know by now that Jasmine isn’t always going to be interested in hanging around the same people you hang around.”

“Yeah but it’s the fact that she keeps saying that she doesn’t trust Tea and I don’t see anything that Tea has done wrong for Jasmine not to trust her.  Even Lita said that I should be careful about what I say around Tea,” explained Bunny.

“That’s their opinion Bunny and there’s nothing you can do to change it.  I know it bothers you that they don’t trust Tea but you’re just going to have to live with that.  Now, why don’t you go and see what Luna has found out in her research about these star seeds that Galaxia wants,” Diane suggested.

“Fine,” Bunny replied as she went upstairs to her room.

(Diane’s P.O.V)

I wish I could take your side Bunny but Jasmine has every right to be suspicious of Tea.  I know that Reva is up to something to expose my secret.  I just don’t know what it is.  I wish I did so I can stop her.  Well, maybe I’ll just have to see her in person to know what she’s really up to.

(End P.O.V)

AT THE KAIBA MANSION:

Jasmine, Yugi, and Tea were in one of the guestrooms in the Kaiba Mansion.  Yugi and Tea were doing their homework and Jasmine was playing with Chibi-Chibi since she had already finished doing her homework.

“You’re so cute!” said Jasmine, bouncing Chibi-Chibi on her knee.

“Can you keep it down over there?  Yugi and I are trying to do our homework,” Tea said, rudely.

“Good for you, want a cookie?” Jasmine replied sarcastically.

Tea scoffed.

“She’s not really being loud Tea.  I can still concentrate.” Yugi looked over at Tea and smiled.

Tea slightly blushed.  “Well, I guess I can deal with it since it doesn’t bother you,” she said.

(Jasmine’s P.O.V)

Oh puh-pleaze!  Who does Tea think she is?!

(End P.O.V)

“Oops, I almost forgot, I need to call my mom to let her know that I’ll be late coming home.  Would you two excuse me for a moment,” Tea said as she took her cell-phone out of her backpack, and left the guest room.

(Tea’s P.O.V)

I need to call my mother to tell her what’s going on.  I need an idea to get Jasmine away from Yugi.

(End P.O.V)

Tea went into the bathroom that was down the hall three rooms down from guestroom she was in.  She sat down on the floor and dialed her house number.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Reva: “Hello, this is the Gardner Residence.”

Tea: “Mom it’s me Tea.”

Reva: “Tea?  Honey, where are you?”

Tea: “I’m at Kaiba’s house.”

Reva: “Why are you at Kaiba’s house? You’re supposed to be trying to get Yugi away from that little slut.”

Tea: “Well, I would be if Jasmine wasn’t so busy playing with that strange little girl named Chibi-Chibi.”

Reva: “Okay… but where is Yugi?  Isn’t he with you?”

Tea: “Yes he is but Jasmine’s here too.  And that’s not the half of what’s going on.

Reva: “What do you mean?  What happened?  Did the little slut put her hands on you?”

Tea: “No, I mean on the way to the mansion.  I tried to sit next to Yugi in the limo but Kaiba tripped me and I fell face first into his lap and Yugi saw me like that.”

Reva: “Oh no.  Did he ask of you and Kaiba were doing anything unusual?”

Tea: “No, he just asked if I was okay and Kaiba called your car that I drove to school in a scrap heap.”

Reva: “That bastard!  Well, I think I have a solution to all of your problems.  You know that little girl that you mention?”

Tea: “Yeah.”

Reva: “Well, that little girl is the key to getting Jasmine away from Yugi and with you.”

Tea: “Mom, how is Chibi-Chibi the key to getting Yugi to be with me?

Reva: “Hmm, I was thinking more the line of the closer Jasmine and Kaiba, the closer they get to each other sorta thing.  But you know how my mind works.”

Tea: “That’s a perfect idea.  Why didn’t I think of that?  The more Kaiba and Jasmine bond with Chibi-Chibi, they’ll start looking at each other in a different way.  They won’t just be friends.  They’ll actually fall in love with each other.  And once Yugi finds out, his heart will be broken and I’ll be there to help him in his time of need.”

Reva: “That’s my girl.  Now put your plan into motion.”

Tea: “Thanks mom.  You’re the best.”

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tea hung up her cell phone and got up off the floor.

AT THE GARDNER FAMILY HOUSE:

Reva hung up the phone and sat down on the couch.  “Oh, I am so good,” she bragged.

Just then, the doorbell ringed.

“I got it! Chloe, you and Kristin stay put!  I got the door,” Reva said as she got up off the sofa and went to answer the door.  As soon as she opened it, she got the shock of a lifetime.  Diane was at the door.

“Di-Diane?!” stammered Reva, in a state of shock.

“Hello Reva.  It’s been what… six years since we’ve seen each other.  You look as if you’ve seen a ghost,” Diane replied sarcastically as she crossed her arms.

“A ghost?  No, I’m just shocked to see… you… back here in Domino City, Japan.  I thought you said you’d never come back,” said Reva.

“Yes, I did.  But something else came up that made me come back.  Mind if I talk to you in private?  I think a nice walk will do us some good,” Diane suggested.

“Well, I’m just dandy.  Why don’t you come in instead?” Reva offered.

“No, I’d rather not.  What I have to talk to you about doesn’t concern the ears of others.  A walk in the park will do and I’ll drive so you won’t have to.” Diane had a stern look on her face.

“Um, girls, I’ll be going out for awhile!!  Behave while I’m gone!” Reva grabbed her purse and closed the door behind her.

“I thought you see it my way.  Come, we have a lot to catch up on,” said Diane as she grabbed Reva by the arm and practically dragged her to the van.

“Ow!  Ow!  I can walk on my own!!” yelled Reva.

“Trust me, when I get finished with you… you won’t be able to walk on your own,” Diane said.

BACK AT THE KAIBA MANSION:

Tea was about to leave the bathroom, but when she opened the door, to her surprise Kaiba was standing behind the door with his arms crossed.

“Gahh!  You again?!” Tea replied.

“I can’t walk around my own house without you commenting on it?” Kaiba said sarcastically, his arms still crossed.

“Whatever Kaiba.  Move out of my way,” said Tea as she tried to barge past him but he stopped her from going any further.  “Move you jerk!”

“I don’t think so,” Kaiba replied.

“Move before I make you move,” threatened Tea.

Kaiba didn’t respond.  He just pushed Tea back inside the bathroom, walked in himself, closed the door, and locked it.

“What do you think you’re doing?!” Tea shouted angrily.

“It’s not about what I’m doing, it’s about what you’re doing to Jasmine and Yugi,” said Kaiba.

Tea looked at Kaiba in anger.  “I have no idea what you’re talking about Kaiba.   I’m not doing anything to Jasmine and Yugi,” she said.

“Don’t play crazy with me Tea.  You know what I’m talking about.  You’re plotting to come between Jasmine and Yugi and I’d have to say that is really pathetic,” Kaiba said.

“Ugh!  Why do you even care anyway?  You don’t even like Yugi.  So why don’t you just move out of my way so I can leave,” replied Tea, getting annoyed.

“I don’t think so.  Not until you swear that you’ll leave Yugi and Jasmine alone you treasonous tramp,” said Kaiba heartlessly.

“You son of a bitch!  How dare you call me a treasonous tramp!  I deserve to be with Yugi, not Jasmine.  And I’m going to make sure that he sees me as more than just a friend,” said Tea.

“If that’s how he sees you then you need to accept that and move on with your life.  You can’t force him to like you.  It doesn’t work that way in the real world,” Kaiba replied.

“Please, just admit that you like Jasmine because that’s the only reason you’re telling me to stop what I’m doing so you can cover your own ass.” Tea smirked evilly and crossed her arms.

“I may like Jasmine but that does not mean I’m going to force her to be with me.  That’s not who I am.  I’m not going to sink as low as you would.  I’m not that desperate like you are,” said Kaiba sarcastically.

“I am not desperate!  Yugi deserves to be happy with someone that actually cares about him and that someone… is me.  And I already knew that you were in love with Jasmine.  It wasn’t that hard to figure out.”

“Whatever Tea.  There’s nothing you can do and there’s absolutely no way that Yugi would actually fall in love with you.  You obviously don’t care about Yugi as much as you say you do to betray his friendship and trust for you like that.” Kaiba looked at Tea in disgust.

Tea crossed her arms and smirked in a devilish way.  She walked towards the side of Kaiba.  “Yugi will always trust me.  No matter what.  But just remember this, I now know how you feel about Jasmine.  It doesn’t take rocket science to figure it out.  That’s why you tripped me in the limo.”  She turned her head to face him and Kaiba turned his head to face her.  “Don’t cross me or you will end up in a world of trouble.  Yugi will be mine whether you like it or not.  Besides, what does Jasmine have that I don’t have that I can’t impress Yugi with?”

“A mother that doesn’t sell herself to old rich men, family and friends that care about her and are not out to try and make her look bad,” Kaiba replied sarcastically.

“Watch it.  Push me too far and you’ll regret it,” said Tea.

“I’ll take my chances.  I already know for a fact that there’s nothing you say or do that can make me believe that your plan to get Yugi to be with you will work.  Find something better to do with your life instead of chasing after guys that don’t want you.” Kaiba went to unlock the bathroom door to leave but Tea stopped him by placing her had over his to keep him from doing so.

“And I’ll take my chances at getting Yugi to be with me.  Of course if things don’t work out…” Tea began to rub her right hand up and down Kaiba’s chest.  “There’s always you and me.”

Kaiba removed Tea’s hand and pushed her away from him.  “The day I’d actually sleep with you is a day I must not want my soul anymore,” he said as he unlocked the bathroom door, opened it, and left.

(Tea’s P.O.V)

Oh don’t worry Kaiba.  Yugi will be with me.  So you won’t have to worry about giving up your soul.

(End P.O.V)

DOMINO NEWS STATION CHANNEL SIX:

Cindy, Bob, and Jeffery were planning a way to catch the Sailor Senshi saving someone again.

“So, where do you think they’ll be next time somebody needs help?” asked Bob.

“No idea, but we promised the boss that we’d keep this story up on a weekly basis but they haven’t came out of hiding since that day we captured them on film.  Maybe we should convince Mr. Yoshifumi to show the footage we caught to see if they’ll come out again,” Jeffery suggested.

“Not a bad idea at all.  Huh?” Cindy noticed that Heather was coming their way. “Don’t look now, but you know who is coming this way,” she said, pointing in Heather’s direction.

“I wonder what she wants,” Bob replied, crossing his arms in suspicion.

When Heather made it to where Cindy and company was, she had a disgusted look on her face.

“What is it Heather?” asked Jeffery, annoyed that Heather was around them.

“Mr. Yoshifumi assigned two new people to your little fiasco.  So meet Akemi and Aki,” replied Heather as she left and there was Akemi and Aki. They were standing behind Heather.

“Welcome.  I’m Cindy Price,” said Cindy as she held out her hand for Akemi and Aki to shake it.

“Hi!” said Aki in a cheerful voice as she shook Cindy’s hand.

“Hello,” Akemi replied.

Cindy smiled.  “And this is Bob Hakase and Jeffery Batoru.  They’re my partners on the ‘Sailor Senshi Project’.  And now you two are.  Welcome to the group.”

“Yeah, welcome.  We’ve going to need all the people we can get to help us.  So, what do you both specialize in?” Bob asked.

“Well, we prefer to snoop around in different places where teens hang out.  I say that because teens are always known for getting good scoops on things before reporters do.  Besides, what if these Sailor Senshi were teenagers themselves?  Then what better place to look than at high schools and colleges?”

“Hmm.  I like the way you think Akemi.  And she does have a point.  What about you Aki?  What do you do?” Jeffery asked.

“While she asks the questions and provide the info, I write down that info.  Oh, and I also carry a tape recorder and a cell phone in case we split up,” said Aki happily as she took the cell phone and tape recorder out of her purse.

“I see.  Well, now we need some footage to show on the news tonight so are you two any good with getting the scoop ASAP?” asked Cindy.

Aki and Akemi both looked at each other.  “Yeah,” they both said at the same time.

“Great.  Here’s the number to get in contact with us in case you find something,” said Jeffery as he wrote the number down on a piece of paper and gave it to Akemi.

“We won’t let you down,” replied Aki.

“Good luck,” Bob said.

Akemi and Aki left together to start on their first assignment.

“You think they’ll find something before the day’s over with?” asked Bob.

“I don’t know.  But we still have to give them a chance.  And they seem pretty reliable,” Cindy said.

“Cind’s right Bob.  Let’s give them a chance and see how they do,” Jeffery replied.

“Maybe.  But we’ll see.”

DOMINO CITY HOSPITAL:

“I feel fine now Corey.  Really I do.  I just want to go home now,” Amy said.

For the past hour, Amy had been trying to convince Corey to tell the doctor that she’s fine and ready to go home.

“Staying overnight in the hospital is not going to kill you Amy.  The doctors just want to take a few more tests to make sure you’re all right,” Corey replied.

“I’m fine Corey.  Those guys didn’t get as far as they wanted to.  I don’t want my friends to start worrying about me.  Just please tell the doctor that I’m fine and so I can go home,” Amy begged.

“Okay, here’s the deal, if you can hold out for a few more hours, I’ll convince the doctors to go ahead and get the test out of the way so you can go home early,” Corey said.

“Oh, thank you Corey!” Amy said as she threw her arms around Corey and hugged him.  She almost fell off the bed because of this but Corey caught her before she did.

“Now don’t get your hopes up too soon.  It’ll take awhile to convince them.  They may say no,” said Corey.

“Okay.  I just want to get out of here before my friends find out.  By the way, how’d you know I was at the bus station,” asked Amy.

“Actually, I didn’t.  I work near the bus station after school.  I heard someone scream like they were in trouble.  So, I hurried over to see what was going on and that’s when I saw those guys I used to tutor after school trying to rape you.  They’re not as tough as they look.  I told them I’d call the police if they didn’t take their hands off of you,” Corey explained.

“Oh.  I’m sorry that you had to do that for me.  I’m not the fighting type of person,” Amy admitted.

“It’s okay.  You’re not the only person who hates to fight.  Now, while we wait for the doctor to come back, let’s watch a little TV.” Corey grabbed the remote that was by the counter next to Amy’s bed and turned on the television that was in the room.

It was already on News Channel 6 so Corey just turned up the volume.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

TV: “And that concludes today and tomorrow’s forecast.  Now here’s Jessie with the today’s news.”

“Thanks Jack.  And now for today’s news, mysterious girls, also know as Sailor Senshi are in our town saving the day!  Don’t believe it?  Just take a look at this footage that was taken in our town a week ago:

Cindy’s footage:

“For this Sailor Senshi.  You see, not only were we released to get rid of you, but we’ve also have something more ingenious planned for you.  Aline, are they here?” asked Zaria.

“Right on time,” Aline replied.

“Who are you talking about!?” shouted Star Moon angrily.

“You’ll see.  But first things first… I’ll let you two take the first blows out of them,” offered Zaria.

“With pleasure,” said both Aline and Milla.

“Let’s have fun Sailor Senshi!!  Fire Meteor Shower!!!” shouted Aline.

“Run!!!” shouted Saturn.

All of the Sailor Senshi and Tuxedo Mask were running to avoid getting hit by Aline’s fire meteor shower.

“I don’t think so pixies!  Ground Splitter!!” Milla shouted.

The ground began to shake and split into two halves to stop the all from running.

“All right!!  Let’s do this!!  Mars Flame Sniper!!!”

“Give it up!  We’re going to bury you all!!!  Fire Shield!!” Aline made a wall of fire come up from the ground to protect her and Milla from Mars’ attack.

“Ugh!  I couldn’t get through,” Mars said.

“Of course you’re not going to be able to get through.  They’re witches.  And for however long they’ve been in the underworld, they’re bound to be stronger with a few new tricks up their sleeves,” Sailor Moon explained.

“Is there any way to defeat these witches?” Pluto asked.

“We don’t know,” replied Star Moon.

“Oh great!  Now we’ve got a new enemy besides Galaxia to get rid of.  Are you two sure that there are no more enemies that you’ve fought that Galaxia might decide to dig up from somewhere?” Mars asked.

“Lay off Mars.  Right now, we need to focus on how to defeat them,” Jupiter said.

“Jupiter is right.  This is no time for arguing,” Uranus said.

“But we can’t fight them if they keep shielding off our attacks,” Mini Star Moon replied.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“Is that enough proof for everyone?  With in conclusion, are these Sailor Senshi good or bad?  Why are they here?  And what are their true identities?  More coming soon,” said Jessie.

Corey turned off the television.  “Wow!  That’s something you don’t see or hear every day.  What do you think Amy?” he asked.

“Uh, y-yeah,” she replied slowly.

“You okay?  You act like you’ve seen a ghost or something,” Corey said.

“I’m fine.  I’m ready to get out of here now,” said Amy.

“O-okay.  I’ll call a doctor right now,” said Corey as he got up of out of his chair and left Amy’s room to find a doctor.

AT DOMINO CITY PARK:

Reva and Diane were walking around the park or at lest Diane forced Reva to walk around the park.

“I want the truth out of you Reva, what are you up to?” asked Diane sternly.

“Ugh!  What are you talking about?  First, you drag a lady out of her home and then you suspect that she’s up to something?  Really Diane, you need a hobby,” Reva said sarcastically.

“You are no lady Reva.  That much I do know.  A real lady wouldn’t go around and sleep with different rich men,” Diane said.

Wow, that hurt my feelings Diane.  I thought we were friends.  But… you’re no better than I am.  I mean after all, you did sleep with the richest and most powerful man in Japan, then turned around and got a baby by him, and on top of that, lied to your whole entire family for six years.  How you got away with it, I would never know.  Even I couldn’t do that and get away with it like you did,” said Reva sarcastically.

“You shut up Reva.  I was protecting my family.  I didn’t want to force them into another family and they may not like it.  Yes, I did sleep with Gozaburo and have his child.  But what I was to do with another baby.  I barely had money to take care of the ones I already had.  I told Gozaburo to keep our little girl because I could not.  And he agreed to it,” explained Diane.

“Oh boo-hoo.  You could’ve married the man but you were being selfish and thinking only of the well being of the children you already had.  You never cared about that little girl.” Reva crossed her arms.

“That is not true Reva!!  I care about all of my children.  That includes the child I had with Gozaburo.  He understood the fact that I had financial problems.  He did ask me to marry him but I turned him down.  Years later after I had left, I heard on the news that he had died.  I didn’t know who would take care of our little girl.  I tried calling down here to find her but… no luck.  It’s like she never existed.  So unless you know where she is Reva, I suggest you speak now,” Diane replied, angrily.

“Like I know where your bastard child is.  I was married when I had my two children,” said Reva.

“Yes and I know your elder child is causing problems between my daughter’s relationship with her boyfriend.  Is your daughter that desperate that she can’t find her own self a boyfriend?” Diane asked.

“Watch who you’re calling desperate Diane.  My daughter is just simply or might be interested in your daughter’s boyfriend.  Is there anything wrong with that?” Reva asked.

“How can you even ask me a question like that?  If you so call do anything to harm or hurt my family in any way, I will see to it that you are personally sent to the hospital.  You got that Reva?” threatened Diane.

“Hmm.  I can see where little Jasmine gets her temper.  When your secret comes out Diane, you’ll only have yourself to blame.  You’d just better hope your daughter and Seto Kaiba don’t remember each other from six years ago because then… you’ll really be in big trouble.  Oh and don’t think I don’t know about your other little secret about you having powers also.  I can always go to the tabloids about that.  Tell them that you and your children are nothing but a bunch of freaks.  And I also recall myself saying that if you ever came back here, that I would destroy your life like you destroyed mine.  Starting with your children,” Reva said.

“Oh please.  You destroyed your own life when you divorced a good man just because he wasn’t rich.  You should be ashamed of yourself.  Stay away from my family,” Diane said as she turned around and walked back towards her van.

“Hey!  How am I supposed to get back home!?” shouted Reva.

“Either call some new rich man you may have met to come pick you up or catch the bus,” said Diane as she got into her car, turned it on, and drove off, leaving Reva stranded.

AT THE TSUKINO FAMILY HOUSE:

Bunny was in the kitchen digging in the pot of beef broth stew and Luna came down the shortcut stairs and into the kitchen.  She was huffing and puffing.

“What’s wrong with you Luna?” asked Bunny, eating some of the stew out of the spoon that was inside the pot.

“I just saw that news!  You girls are in trouble,” Luna said.

“What do you mean we’re in trouble?” Bunny asked, still eating some of the stew.

“Somehow the media has caught sight of you girls as Sailor Senshi and put it all over the news.  They’ve been talking about it for an hour now,” explained Luna.

“Oh no.  How did that happen?  Do they know our real identities?”

“No, thank god.  But we can’t let them find out either or we’ll really be in trouble,” said Luna.

“But this doesn’t make any sense?  There’s no way any news crew could’ve saw us in a junkyard battling those crazy witches unless… the witches are the ones that tipped them off!!” Bunny put the spoon back in the pot of stew and ran over and grabbed the phone on the wall.

“What are you doing Bunny?” Luna asked.

“I’m calling Jasmine.  She has to know what’s going on before it’s too late,” replied Bunny as she dialed Jasmine’s cell phone number.

“That’s a good idea.  Meanwhile, I’ll be letting Sakura and Rini what’s going on.  I’d advise you to call the other girls as well,” Luna told Bunny as she ran back upstairs.

AT JOEY’S HOUSE:

Mina was in the guestroom, which also used to be Joey’s sister’s room, listening to her headphones when her guardian cat Artemis hopped onto the bed and sat next to her.  Mina noticed this and turned her headphones off.

“What’s up Artemis?” she asked.

“I just saw the news on TV and what I have to tell you isn’t good at all,” Artemis replied.

“There’s always something on the news that’s bad Artemis.  That’s nothing new,” said Mina.

“Yeah but this is serious Mina.  The media somehow spotted you and the girls battling those three witches in that junkyard they transported you all to,” Artemis said.

“What?!  How is that even possible?!  No one knew we were even there!  How did the media find out about that?” Mina asked.

“Keep your voice down Mina.  You don’t want Joey and his father to think that something weird is going on in here.  Now, I don’t know for sure how the media found out but I bet it had something to do with those witches.  They may have told them about you all and your history.  You and the rest of the girls are in trouble.  You have to be careful next time you try and help someone.  Try not to get caught,” Artemis told Mina.

“But what are we going to do then?  Wait… Vortex hasn’t attacked anyone in awhile so we’re safe,” Mina said.

“But not for long.  She may attack again.  Maybe sooner than we think.”

AT THE KAIBA MANSION:

Kaiba was in his office typing an important document when Jasmine walked in.  He stopped what he was doing to acknowledge that she had walked into his office.

“Is there something you need?” he asked.

“Yeah, Chibi-Chibi’s medicine that she has to take with warm milk.  I want to go ahead and give it to her,” Jasmine said.

“She’s only to take it before she goes to bed,” Kaiba replied.

“Oh okay.  What are you doing?” asked Jasmine.

“An important document for Kaiba Corp,” said Kaiba.

“Oh.” Jasmine walked up towards Kaiba’s desk.  He had gone back to typing on his computer.  “Can I ask you a question?” she asked.

“What is it?” asked Kaiba, still typing.

“I want to talk to you about Tea.  Is there anything about her that you might know?”

“And you’re asking me this because…?”

“You said you didn’t like her,” replied Jasmine.

“That’s because she talks too much and talks about friendship nonstop like I actually care,” Kaiba replied.

“But you’re friends with me,” said Jasmine.

“That’s different.  You don’t talk about friendship and you’re not as annoying as she is,” Kaiba said.

“So I’m annoying huh?”

“Not all the time.”

“Well then…” Jasmine walked around Kaiba’s desk and stood behind him while he was typing an important document.  He stopped, and turned around to notice Jasmine was standing behind him.

“What are you doing?” he asked.

“Tell me something… are you ticklish?”

“What?” Kaiba arched his eyebrow in confusion as he turned around to face her.

“Are you ticklish?”

“No, why do you ask?” asked Kaiba as he shifted uneasily in his chair.  He whipped back around to his work and continued typing.

“No reason,” replied Jasmine innocently as she reached for the back of his chair.  She yanked the chair from under him and dumped him on the ground.  After she dumped him on the ground, she latched onto his side and tickled him like the wind as Kaiba exploded laughing.

Jasmine was having so much fun tickling Kaiba that she started laughing right along with him.  He took that opportunity to grab Jasmine by her waist, pushed her on her back and then pinned her down.  He also had his body over hers, which made it look like they were doing something else.

“Having fun?” Jasmine smiled at him.

“Okay… I’ll have to admit that was fun.  Just… don’t do it again in the near future,” replied Kaiba.

“Why not?” asked Jasmine, pretending to pout?

“Because I’m way too busy with work for my company and I don’t need to be distracted,” said Kaiba.

“Ahem!”

Jasmine and Kaiba both heard someone clear their throat.  Kaiba looked behind him and saw Mokuba and Niles together looking at the awkward position with Kaiba over Jasmine’s body while still having her pinned down to the floor.  Kaiba immediately got up off of Jasmine.

“You know, if you both are busy, we can come back later,” Niles said, hiding his laughter.

“We weren’t doing anything,” Kaiba replied, blushing furiously.  “She started it.” He pointed to Jasmine.

Jasmine hit Kaiba’s finger away from her.  “I was only tickling you.  You didn’t know for yourself if you were ticklish so I found out for you.”

“And that requires you both to be on the floor?” asked Mokuba.

“Don’t you have some homework that you need to do Mokuba?” asked Kaiba, trying to change the subject.

“I’ve been done with that for awhile.  I was helping Yugi keep Chibi-Chibi entertained.  Tea had already gone home,” Mokuba replied.

“And I came in here to tell you that I was going to the store to get some things so the cook can prepare dinner for tonight.  It’s just a few spices and sauces that’s all.  Nothing big,” said Niles.

Jasmine got up off the floor and straightened up her school uniform.  Kaiba got up as well.

“Will you and Yugi be staying for dinner?” asked Mokuba.

“Mokuba, I’m sure Jasmine and Yugi have far better things to do than be here all night,” said Kaiba.

“But Seto—

“No buts Mokuba.  Now go get washed up for dinner,” Kaiba told his brother.

“Yes big brother,” Mokuba said as he solemnly held his head down as he left his brother’s office.

“I’ll be going to the store now,” said Niles as he began to leave Kaiba’s office.

“Oh Niles, tell the cook to fix two extra plates.  Yugi and I will be staying for dinner,” Jasmine replied.

“Yes ma’am,” replied Niles, leaving Kaiba’s office.

“You really actually want to stay for dinner?” asked Kaiba.

“Sure.  Why not?  Besides, it beats going home and having my annoying little brother bothering me while I’m trying to have some time to myself.  I’ll just call my mom and let her know, that’s all or whoever picks up the phone.” Jasmine smiled.

“You can be quite strange sometimes,” replied Kaiba.

“Yeah well, I live to be strange.  It’s much more fun.” Jasmine sighed elatedly.  “So, after dinner, I will give Chibi-Chibi her medicine and you can put her to bed.” And with that, Jasmine left Kaiba’s office.

DOMINO NEWS STATION CHANNEL 6:

“Looks like our two newcomers didn’t come through for us today,” Bob replied, packing some of his things away so he can get ready to go home.

“Don’t worry Bob.  There’s always tomorrow.  We can’t expect them to get something right away like we asked them to,” Cindy said.

“Cind’s right Bob.  Just wait until tomorrow.  We’ll have something by then,” said Jeffery.

“I bet ol’ Heather is gloating about the fact that we couldn’t get any footage of the Sailor Senshi again today,” Bob said.

“Forget Heather.  She’ll get what’s coming to her one day,” Jeffery said.

“I doubt that since she thinks she the greatest thing since Hollywood,” replied Cindy.

“Yeah and Hollywood isn’t all that’s cracked up to be either.  Heather would fit in perfectly with those people.  She’s always craving for attention,” joked Bob.

Cindy stiffed a laugh. “That’s if she’ll survive in Hollywood.  Mostly because—

Just then, Cindy’s cell phone started ringing.

“That could be them,” said Jeffery excitedly.

“It just might be,” replied Cindy as she picked her cell phone up off her desk.

OAKWOOD APARTMENTS:

Heather had just pulled up in the driveway to her apartment.  When she got out of her car, she closed the door, and went to the back of her car where the truck was and opened it to get her equipment out of it.

(Heather’s P.O.V)

Ugh!  I would’ve never taken a job to be a reporter if I knew that I was going to be upstaged but a third rate reporter that goes around chasing after some childhood fantasy and calling it footage.  I can’t believe they actually put that crap on the six o’clock news.  Like people are going to believe that Sailor Senshi are going around the city and saving peoples lives.  I am so tired of Cindy getting ahead of me!

(End P.O.V)

At that moment, two dark figures were standing behind Heather.  She didn’t see them face-to-face, but she saw their shadows.

“Can I help you two with something?” she asked.

“Yes,” one of them replied. “You can help us by giving up your star seed!”

“What?!” Heather turned around and was instantly attacked by one of the figure and her star seed appeared at the top of her head.

“Our master will surely be please,” said the second figure.

“Yes, she will,” the first figure, laughed evilly.

JT: I don’t know about this chapter.  I think it needs some more work.

P: It’s fine.  You’ve been doing a lot of revising the whole summer.  Take a breather.

FP: P’s right.  Rest and let the reviewers decide if it needs work or not.

G: I think it’s fine the way it is.

JT: It’s the best I can do right now considering this is all I could come up with.

P: Hey, nobody’s perfect at writing.  Everybody has flaws.

FP: And yet again, P is right.

P: I am always right.

FP: At the beginning, you told us you made a resolution to kill somebody.

P: And I shall never tell who I want to kill.

G: Is it President Bush?  I think everyone wants to kill him after what happened with those people who suffered during hurricane Katrina.  I want to kill him too.

P: What part of the words ‘I shall never tell’ don’t you both understand?

FP and G: All of it.

JT: Anyway, review.  More quizzes will be posted up on my website soon. Character Profiles and pictures are now up if you’re interested in reading or looking at them.  Not all of them are up but some of them are.
