HISTORY: Meranie is just like Sakura and Chibiusa in a way. She came from the future. She is the daughter of Haruka Tenou and Tomiichi Takaishi. She was sent to the present for the first time to learn her duties as a future Sailor Guardian and to bond more with her future parents and her adopted sister Hotaru. Meranie looks like her mother but has hair like her father. She was sent back to the future when her training was complete, but now she's back to keep her parents from splitting up. Thanks to a girl named Jessica Case. Tomiichi never told Haruka was engaged to another woman, but it was an arranged marriage. They're not married yet, though.

When Meranie found out, she wanted to go back to the present to stop this from happening. Both Haruka and Tomiichi were surprised that she came back from the future. She knows all of the Sailor Guardians, and they were very happy to see her again. Especially Usagi and Jasmine's little brother, Shingo. Some would say that when these two are together, they're two halves of a whole idiot, but Meranie doesn't act as crazy as Shingo does. To keep her from being at the house by herself, she was put in school to get an education. She's now going to Hakoniwa Academy.
