POWERS & ABILITIES: Seto has, in a sense, shown abilities in being able to have occasional premonitions of his past incarnate Priest Seto, although he usually dismisses it, feeling that it's all part of some trick to get him to believe that he had a past life as an ancient Egyptian Priest. These premonitions only tend to happen when he comes into contact with the millennium items or someone who has one, so to speak.
PERSONALITY: Seto is known for having exceptional skills in playing the game of Duel Monsters strategically, which, for a while, earned him the title of the number one duelist until Yuugi Motou came into the picture and claimed that very title. He's also quite intelligent, as he can be one step ahead of his enemies (although sometimes they do catch him off guard), and use their weaknesses against them. He applies his intelligence not only to dueling but also to running the Kaiba Corporation as well. For he knows that there are a lot of people out there who have grudges against the company as well as him. So whenever there is a problem, he immediately knows how to take care of it without allowing his emotions to get in the way. The only time that happens is when his younger brother Mokuba's life is in danger. If that is the case, he often vows to make that person pay for threatening his family, seeing as how Mokuba IS the only family he feels that he has.
It is obvious to many that Mokuba is Seto's main weakness in getting him to yield and do what someone demands. At least until he gets his brother back, that is. Having done some rather reckless things to ensure his and Mokuba's well-being, which have often driven wedges between them on numerous occasions. Mainly because Mokuba is so adamant on making friends with those he feels are his enemies or rivals, Yuugi and his friends being a prime example of that. Seto doesn't believe in what he calls 'nonsense', like making friends, because he thinks that it's a waste of time and they'll do nothing but hold him back from trying to obtain his goals. He is rather arrogant and self-centered, showing no interest whatsoever in others besides himself and his brother. This causes him to have trouble socializing with certain people who are generally trying to be nice to him. Seto also dislikes it when his brother gets too much of a kick out of trolling him and finds his behavior to be distasteful in more ways than one.
This becomes a heavy habit for his brother when he meets Jasmine Tsukino and her friends. He knew he was aware that his brother liked Hotaru Tomoe, before Mokuba realized it himself. He can tell the girl means well and is a good influence on his brother. At the beginning of the story, he couldn't see himself falling in love with anyone since he didn't see any benefit in it or interest, for that matter. However, this changed when he met Jasmine and felt a strong attraction to her. This interest in her strengthened when a little girl named "Chibi-Chibi" showed up randomly in his office. Even though he and Jasmine bickered with one another in the beginning, he found a newfound respect for her.

Lord of the Red x1APPEARANCE: Seto is 6'2'' with brown hair and dark blue eyes. His usual outfit consists of a long white sleeveless Kaiba Corp-designed coat featuring shoulder pads and a raised studded collar, with black sleeves from his shirt coming out from under. He has extra belts in pairs strapped around his upper arms and shins, and he can be found wearing a Kaiba Corp Duel Disk on his left arm.
HISTORY: Seto Kaiba, owner and president of Kaiba Corporation, is no one's fool. Inheriting the business and his cold-hearted attitude, or stole it, whichever one you want to go for, from his late foster father, Seto has become one of the youngest corporate sensations in history. Mind you, the guy is still very young, and yet he runs his own world-recognized tech corporations. Seto is a skilled computer user and a (shudders to say it) genius designer, making many technological leaps, mostly in the realm of entertainment. His Kaiba Land amusement park is noted for its innovative holographic Duel Monsters dueling arenas.
Why the emphasis on Duel Monsters? Because the only passion he has is greater than the most dreaded opponents one can ever face. He steps into any duel with perhaps the most serious and determined demeanor anyone can show. His dueling deck is a fearsome (not to me) collection of powerful monsters, choice cards from his own vast collection. The crown jewels of his deck are his three Blue-Eyes White Dragons: some of the most powerful monsters one can summon under normal circumstances. There was a fourth one, but his dumb ass ripped it up. That one belongs to Yuugi's grandfather, Solomon Moto. There's also his little brother, Mokuba. He won't let anyone hurt him as long as he's around.
Then there's Yuugi Motou, his rival. Instead of the usual one reason he hates Yuugi, he has another. It's because of a girl named Jasmine Tsukino. When he first met her, god… can you say perverted? Well, in a way, he was. At that time, Jasmine was dating Yuugi. And yes, Seto did like her, but never said that to anyone but his butler, Naofumi. He didn't have to tell Mokuba because he already had a feeling that his brother liked Jasmine. But when Jasmine and Yuugi broke off their relationship, Seto was there to comfort her. Eventually, Jasmine started having feelings for him, and so they went out. Jasmine's relationship with Seto was more serious than it was when she was with Yuugi. Sure, Jasmine and Seto bickered with each other, but that all changed. They are now engaged and expecting a baby.
