POWERS & ABILITIES:
Chronokinesis - Setsuna can create rifts in space itself as well as travel through various timelines, along with granting the ability to time-travel to others via one of her Time Space keys. She can detect anomalies in the time stream easily because of her powers; therefore, she can tell when someone is from any timeline. This is not always considered to be a good thing, as time travelers do this in an attempt to change something in the past, that could cause drastic changes in the future. It is Setsuna's job to make sure that this doesn't happen. Without proper knowledge of time travel, one could end up getting lost in time and never being able to return to their own. Setsuna is also able to create a force field using the power of time itself by temporarily teleporting herself and others into a protective space pocket out of harm's way. On the outside, a large black dome is formed that is capable of withstanding extensive attacks from enemies. Her strongest attack is to stop all time entirely, though this is the third taboo, and is forbidden. If used, Setsuna will die automatically. Being a timekeeper, she is practically immortal, living outside of time itself and existing in any era. Therefore, she can exist within any time without dying, but will still age, that is, until she leaves that time and travels to another, where her age will reset itself, further hinting at her immortality.

Pluto Lip Rod - This is the henshin rod that Setsuna uses to transform into "Sailor Pluto" by calling out the transformation phrase "Pluto Planet Power, Make Up!". Setsuna then spins around while holding the Lip Rod out, and a storm of sand stirs up around her. She then twirls around in the midst of it before the sand comes down on her and the Garnet Rod is shown to be held by Sailor Pluto, who then has her dark pink lip gloss appear, and she twirls around before striking a pose.

Garnet Orb - This is the item that is revealed to be Sailor Pluto's talisman, which sits atop the Garnet Rod. It normally remained a part of the Rod, but Sailor Pluto can remove it at will and protect those around her by performing her new "Garnet Shield" defense power, coupled with some other attacks she's gained. She is also still able to perform her "Dead Scream" attack with it as well.

Garnet Rod - Along with the Garnet Orb, the Garnet Rod was an item carried by Sailor Pluto. She primarily used the Garnet Rod to perform the attack Dead Scream, but it also functioned as a key of sorts to the Space-Time Door. Her talisman, the Garnet Or,b sits atop this Rod. Even in her civilian form, she would have access to the rod, summoning it at will whenever she needs it to protect herself or others around her.

Dead Scream - To perform this attack, Sailor Pluto raises the Garnet Rod into the air, and a small whirlwind spins around her. Sailor Pluto says the attack name, and the winds coalesced into the Garnet Orb, creating a glowing purple ball of energy. She spins once, holding the Rod, and then fires the energy at her target.

Chronos Typhoon - Removing the Garnet Orb from atop the Garnet Rod, Sailor Pluto would hold the orb out in front of her, calling out her attack's name, which created a cyclone-like rush of energy that she would send towards her target.

Time Stop (taboo) - This is the taboo of Space-Time that Sailor Pluto has control over. It is also one of her forbidden powers. As explained by Queen Serenity, if Sailor Pluto used this power, it would result in time stopping for a short period, but it would cost her her life to do so.

Time Space Keys - Sailor Pluto has a chain link silver belt that wraps around her waist with silver-plated bejeweled keys of all shapes and sizes. They are used for opening the doors to the gates of time.

PERSONALITY: Setsuna's strong point is offering guidance to others around her, and as a Sailor Guardian, she's been known to take extreme risks to prevent the world from going into chaos. In her spare time, she does a bit of light reading to pass the time. She also enjoys making tea, more specifically, green tea, as it is very soothing and relaxing, as well as healthy for the body. Setsuna finds it to be very comforting and educational. Sometimes novels and other times academic-related books, for she has acquired the position as a teacher at Domino High School and is working to be close with the Inner Guardians to talk to them about anything important that is related to Sailor Galaxia and why she sent them to Domino, Japan. Setsuna already has the answer to that question, but she cannot say anything as she isn't permitted to. The most she can do is drop hints, but others should figure out their own paths towards their futures rather than have her interfere. Thus, it didn't come as a surprise to her that Jasmine broke off her relationship with Yuugi Motou and began dating Seto Kaiba, who is the father of her child. It was predetermined that this would happen in the future. While a few of the Inner Guardians were upset, she noticed that Usagi was upset about it, who constantly came seeking advice. She gave her advice, but nothing more that would reveal that this direction was set in stone for Jasmine.

Setsuna is used to quickly reacting to situations that require her to think on her feet. It is because she's lived for many years and seen each end in time in the present, past, and future. Conversations like this have been on repeat for her for as many times as she could count, and the same could be said about how she responds in battle. It's why she's been placed in charge of training other Sailor Guardians she's met, this would include Chibiusa, Sakura, and Meranie, as their powers are weaker compared to the others. She's shown the Sailor Guardians that they can combine the attacks they have to create a more powerful attack and confuse their enemies as well. This is something Setsuna often does, but her power could be considered an instant kill attack, so she avoids doing this unless necessary.

While Setsuna may be able to give advice to others, she struggles with applying it to herself. It's not that she can't, but rather, her position as the Guardian of Time prevents her from doing so. Instead, she prefers to focus more on the well-being of others and sacrifices her needs and wants in the process. She has spent so much time guarding the Time-Space Door that she only recently began to experience what it is like to live out life and be a Sailor Guardian, but not both. The closest thing Setsuna has to relationships is friendships and nothing beyond that. She doesn't know what it's like to fall in love because of her duty as a Sailor Guardian. Life in Domino isn't that different from Tokyo, but she engages with a variety of different people outside of the other Guardians and is troubled by how burdened the city is in darkness. Setsuna hopes for that to change once Sailor Galaxia is defeated

APPEARANCE: Setsuna stands at the height of 5'7'' with long, straight, deep emerald green hair that goes past her waist, stopping behind her thighs. Her bangs cover her forehead partially, and she styles part of her hair into a bun behind her head. Her skin complexion is bronze, and she has deep magenta-colored eyes. Her waistline is slender, although she has wide hips and an average bust size. Her everyday attire consists mostly of wearing suits (skirt or pants) and formal dresses that are considered to be evening wear to most. Her most famously worn outfit is a lavender suit with a white V-neck long-sleeved shirt with a red bow attached to the front, a lavender long-sleeved jacket, and a skirt that stops above the knees. Working as a scientist, she is often seen wearing a white lab coat over her clothes whenever she's at Todai doing important research. As Sailor Pluto, her fuku consists of a black choker, collar, elbow fittings of gloves, skirt, and boots. Her tiara gem, earrings, and the gem attached to the choker are garnet-colored. The bows of her fuku are maroon. Her earrings are big and shaped like thick downward-pointed arrows. Her collar does not have any stripes. She does not have any shoulder pads. HISTORY: Setsuna transforms into the reformation fighter, Sailor Pluto. She has been charged to guard the Gate of Time with her key-shaped Garnet Rod. It is implied that Setsuna has lived for many years through many tragedies, along with training Sailor Guardians. She can see the past, present, and future, and while she does have the ability to change it, she isn't allowed to without a good reason that wouldn't distort time. Her powers are shared with two other Sailor Guardians, Sailor Future (Diane Tsukino) and Sailor Past (Dana Kajimotou). The three of them are in the same boat of responsibility in managing time. And just like Setsuna, the two of them each have a power they aren't allowed to use that would condemn them to punishment or death.

So when she was transported to Domino, Japan, with the rest of the Sailor Guardians, Setsuna was already aware of the possible outcomes of how things would change for the Sailor Guardians. The main one is Jasmine Tsukino's future because her future daughter, Sakura Tsukiyomi, her father was unnamed in the future, but also a demon whom Jasmine, princess form Atinako, fell in love with, but was at the same time shunned for what she was. She knew that Jasmine's relationship with Yuugi Motou would end, and she would eventually be with Seto Kaiba. An outcome to avoid Sakura having to deal with being treated like an outcast in her own family. She knew Usagi was upset about this change, as she herself was destined to be with Mamoru Chiba and wanted no one else but him, and didn't understand why it was okay for her sister to change her future, and she couldn't.

Setsuna did her best to give Usagi advice, but she informed her that her actions from that point on would determine her future relationship with her sister. Unlike Michiru and Haruka, who participated in the battle against Sailor Galaxia but weren't present during the Battle City Tournament and Finals, Setsuna is. This is also where Setsuna meets Ishizu Ishtar, the two bonding over tea and conversations about the future. She gained a new friendship with the woman as the two of them knew what it felt like to carry the burden of having power to see the outcomes of the future and see into the past. However, unlike Ishizu, whose power came from the Millennium Tauk that can be passed down to anyone capable of wielding it, Setsuna herself has implied immortality, whereas Ishizu does not. At the end of the story, Setsuna remains a teacher at Domino High School in hopes of helping to change things for the better of the students there and keeps in contact with Ishizu, the two of them meeting up for tea to talk. Setsuna does not end up with anyone romantically, but she does have a new friend.
